W
elcome to Air Capital Gymnastics and Dance Company. We are thrilled to have you and your child in our
gymnastics and dance community. Please read through the rules and policies that were created to keep our
gym running smoothly. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

Procedures for class
Please be on time for class. This is when we do warm-ups, stretches, take role, cover safety rules and do special
announcements. Regular class attendance is important. Gymnastics is a progressive sport and missing classes may cause
your child to fall behind.

Gymnasts are evaluated on an ongoing basis to determine their current skill level and to help determine the best class
for them. Each child is different and it may take longer to progress and complete the skill requirements for each level.
You will be notified when your child is ready for the next level or skill card by their instructor. If you have concerns or
questions about your child’s progress, please feel free to ask your child’s instructor.

Only participating students are permitted in the gym area or dance studio during class time. Students are not allowed on
the equipment before or after class. The staff is not responsible to supervise children before or after their class. We ask
that parents do NOT converse with students while they are in class. If your child may need assistance in the restroom we
ask that you stay in the building during their class time. Thank you for helping to assure the safety of all children in the
facility.

We recommend that female gymnasts wear leotards with or without athletic shorts/pants and male gymnasts are
required to wear a t-shirt and athletic shorts/pants. Please ensure that pants do not contain buckles, belts or zippers.
Dancers will be given attire requirements on their first day of class. Jewelry of any kind is not allowed in the gym or
studio. It can be dangerous to students and instructors and can damage equipment. We are not responsible for any
belongings left in the facility. Please leave valuable items at home.

Parents Responsibilities
Parents play an important role in the development of a successful athlete. We welcome your presence at practice,
functions and at every competition or recital. We take pride in our family-friendly gym as every parent, gymnast and
dancer becomes a part of our growing family. We value your input and support.

It is very important that you always remain positive with your gymnast or dancer and with any other participant in the
program. The following policies are designed to ensure a fun, safe and successful program for everyone.

Communication is important and we have an open door policy for all athletes and parents. Please come to any of your
child’s coaches before or after class if you have a concern or if there is something that may affect your athletes ability to
work out or perform. Furthermore, make sure that all of your information, including your email address, is current in the
system. Communication will be sent by mail or email.
We WILL NOT tolerate parents who by their words or actions do not support the gym, the coaches, other athletes,
the policies or the values of our gymnastics and dance programs. Air Capital Gymnastics and Dance Company reserves
the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason. Refunds will not be given on any tuition or fees paid to
Air Capital Gymnastics should you be asked to leave.

Payments
Our programs continue throughout the year and for ease of payment, we have divided the year into monthly payments.
Some months you may have more classes than the next do to how the calendar falls, but it will average out with
Holidays. Payment methods include check, cash or automatic bank draft. Make checks out to Air Capital Gymnastics and
always include the athletes full name and the class day and time on the payment.

Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. There is no exception to this. We cannot pay our bills if you do not pay yours.
If your payment is more than 10 days late, there will be a $15 late fee AND your child will not be allowed to
participate in class until the balance is paid in full.

We DO NOT offer refunds for classes.

You may NOT pro-rate a month due to missed classes or Holidays.

Statements will be mailed out on the 15th of the previous month. You may send your payment with your athlete or send
it in the mail. All payments must be received by the 1st of the month.

We DO offer discounts for siblings. Please ask Jamie about the multi-child discount.

Annual Registration Fee
The annual registration fee is due on September 1st of each year. This fee defrays administrative costs, sales tax required
by law, and covers a portion of our liability insurance cost. For individual students, the cost is $36 and $50 for families
with two or more children in our programs. This fee is only paid once a year and will be pro-rated for athletes who join
after September 1.
