A Powerless Revival AC 19:15 One day the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?" 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. How many miracles did the Pharisees perform while Jesus was here? The answer, none. The fact of the matter is, that anyone who persecutes Jesus through the Fishermen that He flows through will have no power to perform miracles from God in their lives. There is a revival beginning just like in Jesus day, but we will likely see the same scenario play out all over again. You will see servants that love and obey Jesus walking in God's power and blessing on one side, and a bunch of critical, religious, powerless, Pharisees on the other side. The reason that demons knew who Paul was is because he walked in Jesus' humility and love. AC 9:4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" 5 "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. 6 "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." The bottom line is that when you persecute Jesus sheep, you are persecuting Him, and unless people get knocked off of their religious donkey's, things will never change and their spiritual lives will remain stagnant and impotent. Whatever has been hindering God's ability to flow through you in power must be eliminated in your life, and eliminated quickly. God's time to choose who will qualify to be used in power for this harvest has come and we cannot afford to be found wanting. Things like spiritual pride, unrighteous judgment, criticizing, and slandering must stop and be repented of in order to maintain a strong anointing from God. EPH 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. We must stop grieving God's spirit by maliciously attacking and judging people as though we are the be all end all of what God is doing in the earth. We must remember the state we were in when Jesus reached down and saved us. We were lost, wretched, and full of sin and flaws. Is it now right that we so severely malign other servants of Jesus? I do not think so. We must live a life full of love, not arrogance, and we must pray that God gives us a much deeper love and compassion for the lost and for our fellow brothers and sisters. May God humble us all so that He can flow through us in full power during this coming time of revival. JAS 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. 17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. Are You A Loser? In this last move of God upon the earth He has placed many people into lives that He knew would be full of denial, restriction, loss, and many other things happening that might make us look like what people call a "loser". Then comes the wilderness, which seems to be a super- loser looking kind of life where all your junk comes out and you are even more restricted and challenge-ridden than ever. At times, you can even despair of life itself, because you wonder if things are even going to get any better. I just want to encourage you today that there have been many people in the past that God has used in mighty ways that have also lived a life similar to yours. They are people who have been treated with great contempt and disdain by those they truly loved, people with physical problems that greatly limited them, and people who barely had enough money to survive on much of the time. These people have been very often rejected, overlooked, and excluded. It can be easy to think that you are just cursed. There is one added element to your life, you are being prepared for the greatest and last harvest of souls in human history. So God has prepared many people who have been through the worst of the worst, so that He can flow through them with the best of His best. He needed people who had been wounded, and who struggled with certain types of sin so that He could heal and deliver them, and then send them out to help a world full of others like them. There is great wisdom in God's plan for your crazy life. There may be many times that you are tempted to just say, "What's the point in going through all of this? I might as well just create my own life because this is getting me nowhere". But there has been alot that God has worked out on the inside of you that you may not even be aware. God thinks long term, so He will make sure that all of the cracks in the foundation of your life have been fully repaired first before He starts to build high upon you. So be encouraged, you are not a loser, you are God's winner. HEB 11:38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground. Attacking Ourselves When I was in the army, we were out living in the woods playing war games this one time, and we were told that the green beret were going to attack us in the middle of the night as a training exercise. We had a pretty tough unit, but we were not looking forward to being attacked by these other crack troops so we were paranoid night after night and we hardly slept in anticipation of the coming attack. On the last night of being out in the woods we knew that this had to be the night they would come to attack us so we were doubly ready. Sure enough, in the wee hours of the morning, a ruckus broke out in the camp and it sounded like world war 3 had just begun. We were all grappling in the dark with our attackers when I heard a blood curdling scream, so I grabbed a flashlight and pointed it in the direction of the scream. I saw an older sergeant being choked and pummeled by someone and just as I was ready to jump on his attackers back I noticed it was someone else from my own unit attacking him! Apparently these two guys were sleeping right next to each other, but when the noise broke out they mistook each other for the enemy in the darkness. As a matter of fact, we were all attacking each other and the enemy wasn't even there! Our own noise and fear had started the attack and because there was not enough light in the camp, none of us could distinguish friend from foe. For quite some time now I have been hearing rumblings and rumors in the Christian camp about civil war and how certain people or old movements are our enemy, when in fact it seems that we have taken our eyes completely off of the real enemy, and we have now resorted to attacking eachother in place of the enemy. The rift and division between those who are in a church and those who are out, those who are in the wilderness and those who are not, those who are part of the old prophetic movement and those who are part of the new prophetic movement, those who are Spirit-filled and those who are not, those who like this minister or church and those who oppose them, has grown and grown and now in the darkness we are not really sure who is the real enemy anymore. The last I checked, we were all wearing the same uniform and we are supposed to be fighting on the same side against a common enemy which is satan, and those who support satan's agenda. It appears that we have allowed ourselves to become distracted from the real enemy, and we have made each other the enemy in his place. I think it would serve us all well to allow some Light to come in and show us the truth about who is really our friend and foe in this fight, rather than blindly attacking each other in the darkness. We have become paranoid and suspicious of anyone who we think may be slightly different than us and I think we need the Holy Spirit to give us some clarity and revelation about how He wants us to proceed forward and relate to each other. Like Jesus said, a house divided against itself cannot stand, yet the rift and division between us becomes greater by the day. I can understand Christ and satan being divided, I can even understand the pharisees and the fishermen being divided, but I think before we divide ourselves from those who are supposed to be in the same army as us, we need to have the Commander come and tell us that this is in fact the case. There are different divisions in the military that do different things in a battle, so I think we must be careful to not call something the enemy, just because it is different from us. It is time for us all to step over to the Lord's side, and let the Lord deal with those who will not. What are your thoughts on this? LK 11:17 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: "Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. 1CO 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. 11 My brothers, some from Chloe's household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12 What I mean is this: One of you says, "I follow Paul"; another, "I follow Apollos"; another, "I follow Cephas"; still another, "I follow Christ." 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul? Avoiding Cain's Mistake We are entering a time when only absolute and complete obedience to God's daily direction will do and any rushing ahead, lagging behind, or getting creative on Him will create trouble for us and others connected to us. God had expectations concerning Cain and Abel's sacrifice but only Abel did the right thing. Abel was obedient but Cain decided to do it his own way which led to rejection by God. Then as you probably know Cain murdered Abel out of jealousy and anger and he was punished by God. GE 4:1 Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "With the help of the LORD I have brought forth a man." 2 Later she gave birth to his brother Abel. Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. 3 In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD. 4 But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast. Try to think of the Spirit and flesh as Cain and Abel and when you are obedient to God's Spirit it is like Abel, and when you do what you want in the flesh it is like Cain. The calling God has placed upon your life is what He expects of you and anything apart from what He directs you to do will only cause delay, frustration, and anger for you because you will feel rejected by God and possibly rebel and create more grief. We can take God's shut downs personally if we are not careful and suffer great loss. GE 4:6 Then the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it." Rebellion and defiance are born out of insecurity and distrust toward God's love. We must be secure in the fact that our Father loves and approves of us or we can easily get exasperated and start trying to find our worth through dead works of the flesh, rather than in God's love. If you have been sidelined or shut down by God because you went beyond His directions try to just remember that it is not you that He has rejected, but rather the works of flesh that you offered to Him in place of obedience. If you are not sure why you lost your spiritual mantle or the grace off of the work you have been doing then just take a step back and stop striving. Ask God to show you what may be wrong with what you are doing and get back in line with what He wants. If you get mad at God then you will just get yourself into trouble. If you are feeling dis-appointed today then allow God to re-appoint you by getting you back on the right track. Be secure in your Fathers love and approval and allow Him to help restore you. ISA 1:18 "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land; 20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the LORD has spoken. Babylon-Coming To A Website Near You 1SA 8:6 But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. 7 And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. One of the new phenomenons starting to crop up lately is web churches, complete with professional clergy, and yes mandatory giving in order to support those clergy. Sound familiar? Now the idea of the body of Jesus gathering together is of course scriptural, but God has gone to great lengths recently to remove His people from the control of old dead religious systems that continually exclude His direct leadership. I believe in the months and years ahead we will indeed see the body of Jesus being brought together in new and wonderful ways, but it will not come in the form of an old religious system that God is finished with. In these last days God will be God and that is that. There will be no more people setting up kings for themselves to rule in place of God's leadership and the only supreme direction giver allowed will be Jesus Himself. God will indeed appoint leaders for this last harvest and the discernment of the Holy Spirit will reveal exactly who they are. Many of them will be virtual unknowns that God has kept on the spiritual backside of the desert of preparation for many very long and grueling years. We must allow God to purge us of all rebellion and serve these people just as we would serve the Lord because these people only desire to feed His sheep. Now I don't want to just flat out trash all e-churches if that is in fact something that God is creating and leading us toward, but if people are just trying to resurrect an old dead religious system and then repackage it into a new, more convenient electronic box, then we are just wasting our time. In this last move of God in the earth we will see Jesus ministering through His body 100%. All ministry idolatry will be forbidden. If God has taken you out of a familiar religious system then do not be quick to jump back into it unless He has indeed told you to do that. Religious codependence has been drilled into so many people in the form of having to be "under a covering" that people actually fear not going to an established religious franchise. The only covering we need is Jesus Christ and those He directly requires us to serve under and obey. So I just want to encourage you today my friend to keep allowing God to be God in your life, and to only join yourself to things that He directly tells you to. Jesus will be faithful to guide you. Everyone that ministers needs to trust God for their income and maybe that isn't so bad. Plus all true spiritual authority comes from God alone and not from a revamped electronic religious system. So continue to say buh bye to Babylon. 1TI 6:11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Dead End REV 22:14 "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. We have reached a place right now where we must surrender any last remaining areas of sin or unforgiveness to God that we have been hiding in our lives. The reason for this is because we are about to experience a massive outpouring of God's power and blessings upon those who have allowed God to prepare them completely and who have totally surrendered every area of their hearts and lives to Him. The time to repent fully has come and the time to keep relapsing is over. God needs absolute obedience. MK 1:15 "The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" There will be extra grace for those who bravely step out and say yes to God in this day of decision, so it does not matter how many times you have tried to repent and failed in the past because this is your day to succeed. We have all reached a holy dead end where everything that is of the flesh must be completely dead. Those who ignore Gods call to repent will be shut down and put on hold, but for those who obey and comply, they will step into a whole new exciting realm of power in this final hour. JER 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Emotionless Revival 2CO 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. There has been a growing dispute between those who claim that all revival should be relatively emotionless, and those who believe that when God's Spirit moves upon a human being during revival that emotions do in fact occur. Now obviously we should not be doing things out of our flesh, but on the other hand we should not label all emotional _expression during revival as being evil. God created our emotions and when you feel His great love and joy flowing through you, you cannot help but express it in some way. Revival is full of passion and we need not feel ashamed of feeling what God is doing in our hearts. We are not Vulcan's we are humans, and feeling is OK. MT 21:15 But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant. Those that are legalistic usually tend to be very controlling and shun emotion like the pharisees of old and the idea of something going on that they cannot understand or directly manage is usually quite unsettling to them. Revival is usually not like Burger King where you can just have it your way, it is something that we let the Holy Spirit be in control of and lead. The quickest way to squelch an outpouring of God's Spirit is to tell Him what He can or cannot do. Will there be some manifestations of flesh or demons during revival? Yes of course, but for those who have spiritual discernment we can distinguish what is of God and what is not. The main question is whether we will trust God to lead in a revival or not. AC 2:13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine. " I would encourage you in the coming days to be open to whatever the Holy Spirit wants to do in your life during revival and to not allow the modern day pharisees to cheat you out of what God wants to give you that may or may not involve some emotion. Many times as God is moving upon someone during revival they do in fact feel strong emotions such as love, joy, or even sorrow. The main thing is that we allow God's Spirit and word to lead us during revival and that we not allow satan to shut things down through a religious spirit. We need God's love in order to bring in this harvest and there will always be legalistic people there to try to squash it. We can trust God to be in control during revival including our emotions. LK 10:21 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. Extraordinary Miracles There has been more and more reports of extraordinary miracles taking place (mostly in certain prophetic circles) where people are seeing angels, angel feathers, gold dust being shaken out of people's hair, manna falling out of thin air, and having large carat gems appear out of nowhere. I believe that we are going to see many more things even more sensational than these things in the days ahead so it would be wise for us to ask the Lord what this is about and what posture we should be taking on it. RO 15:19 by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ. The normal response will be to praise God for these miracles and ask for more, but are these miracles really coming from God, and who are they really glorifying? We know that the miracles that Jesus did always led people to repent, have greater faith in God, and believe in the message of the gospel. These miracles were always meant to reconcile man to God, and never to glorify a human. Real prophets become false prophets when they seek spiritual manifestations above the presence of Jesus Christ. MT 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time. Now obviously those of us that love the Lord want to experience His miracles and most of us who have been through the wilderness not only want, but need God's miracles to be restored, but we must also be careful not to just jump at everything that comes along and call it a miracle because not all of them are from God. If Satan can get Christians to focus on themselves and not the harvest then he can keep the field. False miracles always glorify humans and take the focus away from Jesus Christ. AC 19:11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them. There will indeed be extraordinary miracles that will happen that we may have not seen so we should not be like the Pharisees and call everything we see the Devil, but we must always run what we see through God's word and Spirit to check it to see where it is coming from. Jesus' sheep should not only recognize His voice, but also His handy work as well. Welcome God's true miracles, but avoid desperation and use your spiritual discernment and God's word to evaluate where they are coming from. PS 77:11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. 12 I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds. 13 Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God? 14 You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. Facing Martyrdom After The Harvest There has been a word that has been resting in my spirit for some time now and early this morning it came to me again and the word is; "Get ready to face martyrdom after the great harvest". I realize that this will not be a popular word and that many will likely balk at the idea of being persecuted or even executed in the western world, but nevertheless it is a word that keeps coming back to me over and over so I just wanted to speak it out so that by hearing it some may be helped and comforted in their day of need. God tells us things beforehand so that our faith will not fail us. I will just briefly explain what I have seen and then you can take it to prayer and ask God about it. I have seen a great time of harvest in the earth that will involve all nations and all people and will penetrate all so-called religions where God will demonstrate His great power and love to all mankind so that whosoever can be saved, will be saved. God's great love and power has no boundaries or limitations. God loves all of His creation not just certain sects of it. The gospel of the kingdom will be preached in power and also many counterfeit demonic miracles will take place during this time and deceive those whose hearts are easily enticed. There will be great demonstrations of power on both sides but the difference is that those who operate under the power of the true Holy Spirit will lead people to salvation through Jesus Christ, rather than making mankind their own god. I have seen a time during and around the end of this harvest where the spirit of the Antichrist and the spirit of Muslim will be allowed to conquer and there will be a world-wide Muslim and non-Muslim war where even parts of the western world will fall and be forced to either become Muslim or be beheaded. Many including false Christians will convert to Islam, but those that truly belong to the Lord will remain strong through Him and be beheaded for their faith. The Antichrist will embrace Islam and we will see an end time holocaust of both the Jews and the Christians. But during this great harvest many Muslim's will also find salvation through Jesus Christ, so it is not necessarily an us against them situation, it is just a time where all mankind will be forced to choose. We do not need to fear what is coming, but we must allow the Lord to prepare our hearts and minds now so that we can stand during our time of testing. You see, many will even see their own loved ones executed. We will also see many angels and miraculous deliverance's as God leads us forward to whatever our outcome may be. It is our time now to cooperate with the work of His Holy Spirit and to repent in earnest of all that has been hindering our walk with Him. We have been given a time to prepare and we must take it seriously and use it wisely. Whatever your views on eschatology may or may not be, the most important thing in the days ahead will be your relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and your faith in His word and character. This is our time to allow God to grow the roots of our faith down deep and to come to know the Lord in a much deeper place through prayer, worship, His word, and through repentance. We must become truly willing to endure to the very end no matter what, and to remember that the same Jesus that was tortured and executed for us will stand with us and remain faithful to us during our trials. We tend to overlook the part in the book of Acts where many people faced martyrdom for their faith and it will be no different in the times ahead. But we must remember that even though we and those we love may face prison, torture, and/or the sword because of our faith, that God has promised to never leave or forsake us and He will be faithful to us to the very end. REV 13:9 He who has an ear, let him hear. 10 If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints. REV 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. REV 22:14 "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. False Miracle Workers I have been noticing a rise in what people refer to as street magicians, and they seem to perform miraculous feats and leave the crowds who have witnessed their so called trick in great amazement and astonishment. People like David Blaine and Criss Angel (Mind freak), are going to the streets and doing things that actually do defy the natural laws of the known universe. They can levitate themselves, someone else, or objects completely off the ground at will (I have seen them rise up to 8 feet), they can read minds or project thoughts into other peoples minds, they can move or break things supposedly with their mind, they can teleport objects, reanimate small creatures, or transfer pain through a voodoo like doll. This is not like a Las Vegas magic show, and these are not mere parlor tricks or stage illusions, this is the real thing and it has everyone buzzing about this new great power emerging in public view. Although there is a legitimate power at work, it is not the power of God, it is the power of evil spirits working false miraculous signs just before the real outpouring of God hits the streets. These so called magicians (actually sorcerers) will continue to compete with each other and do greater and greater feats and it will draw many people into their deception. This is the definition for sorcery- "The use of supernatural power over others through the assistance of spirits; witchcraft". Just like a psychic uses a spirit guide to assist them in communicating with disembodied spirits, so these sorcerers have evil spirits that assist them in accomplishing these supernatural tricks. This phenomena has happened before though when God first took His power to the streets in the book of Acts, but this will be on a much larger scale this time; AC 8:9 Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, 10 and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, "This man is the divine power known as the Great Power." 11 They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his magic. AC 8:18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money 19 and said, "Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit." AC 8:20 Peter answered: "May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21 You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. 22 Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. 23 For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin." (A common characteristic of these street sorcerer's, just look into their eyes). Or, evil spirits may sometimes try to distract; AC 16:16 Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17 This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved." (This is an evil spirit of divination pretending to be a prophetess) 18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!" At that moment the spirit left her. The primary goal of a street sorcerer is power, attention, and self-glory, and they will stop at nothing to a achieve success. They lure innocent people (including children) into their trap and bring defilement and demons into their innocent lives. They will look the victim right in the eye during the trick, or employ hypnotism to accomplish the levitation of others. Soon I think you will even see them miraculously healing people on the streets. Usually, satan tries to display the counterfeit just before the genuine arrives on the scene and this is no different. But God will send His power to the streets that will far surpass anything the devil can conjure up. There will also be a clash between many of the empowered Christians, and these demonized sorcerers, but as usual, God will win out in the end as He always does. But we must stand firm though. EX 7:10 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. 11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: 12 Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs. 13 Yet Pharaoh's heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said. These false miracles are merely a distraction to try to discredit the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and we must be careful to keep our focus on bringing in the harvest rather than giving regard to satan's false miracles. We live in the most exciting and wonderful time in history, but we also live in the most spiritually volatile time in history where we must all be ready to go to battle. This will no longer be a situation where we can hide within church walls and peek out the curtains at a perishing world. This is an honest to goodness war and it will get messy at times. But we must remember that we are already on the winning side and that we have all the spiritual assistance that we need simply by praying. Jesus is our Captain of Battle and He will be faithful to give direction to His troops who are listening and who do not give in to fear. This is our day to bring in the harvest, and to conquer all evil strongholds in the name of Jesus Christ. JOS 1:6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Financing the Harvest AC 4:32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. 34 There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need. In this coming revival we will need money, it is unavoidable, but where will it come from? The biblical pattern according to Acts is that those who were saved brought offerings as God led them to. This will likely repeat itself very soon. As the power of God saves and helps people they will be very thankful and want to contribute to what God is doing. The Holy Spirit will help us with all the logistics of having many people come into the kingdom at once during a time of super-revival and all that it will take to provide, protect, and preserve them. Jesus even needed to use money during ministry. LK 8:3 Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod's household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means. JN 13:29 Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor. We live in a world that God has designed to operate financially on money in some form or another in order for us to meet our needs and He also uses it as a tool to build relationship between us and Him financially. Satan has tried to pervert the truth about money by manipulating people into either being greedy, or to suffer in constant need because they think that having money is somehow worldly or nonspiritual. When we believe lies about how God designed things to work financially, or we are disobedient with money, we can suffer needlessly and feel that God really doesn't care about us. JOS 5:12 The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Canaan. After the wilderness the Israelites plundered the promised land not only as a reward and blessing from God, but also to establish God's kingdom in Canaan. After our wilderness God is also going to allow us to receive in different ways in order for us to be restored, finance this revival, and to establish His kingdom here on earth through the saving and practical care of many people. Greed will likely not be our problem during the the conquest of our promised land, it will be having a poverty mindset due to believing the lie that having money is somehow sinful and that we should stay poor. LK 22:35 Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?" "Nothing," they answered. LK 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. 37 It is written: `And he was numbered with the transgressors' ; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment." There is a time when you don't take a purse and a time when you do. The key is to ask the Lord which time it is. During times of high grace Jesus told the disciples to go out with nothing and God would provide everything, but there was also a time of severe persecution coming when they would need to be resourceful and survive on what God had placed in their hands. We who have lived in the wilderness have had to learn to live by faith with basically no purse, but now things are about to change where God is going to bless and restore us financially and materially in order to meet many needs. DT 6:10 When the LORD your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you--a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, 11 houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant--then when you eat and are satisfied, 12 be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Most of us are now about to leave our wilderness and we must be ready to receive whatever God wants to place into our hands to establish His purposes in this revival because whether we like it or not we will still have to use money until the kingdom of Jesus Christ is fully manifested by His return. I would invite you to go to God and ask Him to cleanse your heart of any lies you have believed about finances. We must move from a prosperity or poverty mindset into a Kingdom mindset. The miracles you will need to be restored will require faith so do not allow doubt or lies to hinder them. JOB 42:10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. 11 All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the LORD had brought upon him, and each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring. 12a The LORD blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the first. God's Power Always Attracts Persecution AC 5:16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed. 17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. 18 They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. There are a number of you now reading this that will soon walk in greater power to heal the sick and cast out evil spirits. God has been preparing His people for many years now just for this purpose, and for those in transition who cease to procrastinate and who fully repent and seek God, you will indeed begin to see God do more miracles through you. But I also want to touch on another challenging aspect of walking in God's power, and that is persecution. JN 15:20 Remember the words I spoke to you: `No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. If you walk in God's power, you can expect the modern day Pharisees to label you as a heretic and say that demons rather than the Holy Spirit are working through you. You can also expect family and friends to disown you, to be defrocked by any religious organization that licensed you, websites to go up denouncing you, people attacking your websites, and people to protest at your meetings; but you must not allow any of these things to deter you. MK 15:9 "Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?" asked Pilate, 10 knowing it was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him. Pharisees are in the ministry for what they can get out of it, not for what God can give through them. So anyone who has more power flowing through their lives, or who gets more attention than they do, they see as a threat. They may even talk about you in a smarmy, insincere way, and say that they need to pray for and restore you, but make no mistake, envy and jealousy are driving their veiled gossip and slander, and inside they hope you fall. JN 21:17 The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep. If you really love Jesus then you will want to please and obey Him. In the end He will not accept any excuses as to why we took our hands off of the plow and sat down, He will just ask "Did you feed My sheep?". Expect persecution when God's power begins to flow and just know that your focus must be fixed on feeding His sheep, not on the Pharisees antics. Your Job is just to do God's will, plain and simple, so don't let anyone distract you from that. MT 15:12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?" 13 He replied, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit." If We Truly Want To Help People 1JN 5:2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. Most of us have longed for many years to have God flow through us in power, and we get frustrated because not much seems to really happen when we pray. But there is something very important that we can give to people right now; our full obedience to God. You see, if we truly want to help people and have God use us in power then we can repent right now of everything that has been blocking that power from operating. 2CO 2:9 The reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything. If we honestly care about people and want to help them then we must be willing to do whatever it takes to become usable by God in order to do that. Full repentance on our part is more valuable than hours of intercession because it then puts us in a place where God can trust us enough to move through us in power without us ruining it all through sin or disobedience. Total obedience opens the door for all God wants to give. 1CO 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. So if we are truly burdened for the lost and really want to help them like we say we do, then we need to prove it by repenting of everything that has been keeping us from doing that. We live in a time where people need God's power more than ever, so let's give the lost a gift that can truly help them by putting ourselves into a place of true usability through full repentance. Real love demonstrates itself through true obedience. 2JN 1:6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. JN 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. In Defense Of The Toronto Blessing MT 12:30 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. I have heard many negative things over the years about any major outpouring of the Holy Spirit including that this is really just all an elaborate satanic counterfeit meant to deceive all of us Spirit-filled discerning Christians into worshiping demons and ending up sacrificing babies on the alter and drinking their blood. It is not just the Toronto outpouring that is discredited, but any major outpouring where there are things that we have never seen before. I have actually been part of an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, I have lived in Toronto since the early 90's, I went to TACF (Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship), met and been around John and Carol Arnott, and watch their TV program here, and I can tell you that although satan always tries to throw his counterfeits in to distract and discredit a move of God, that the genuine Holy Spirit was and still is at work here in Toronto, and in many other places. When the day of Pentecost came rolling around there was what most people would consider to be a major outpouring of God's Spirit in that region. Was that outpouring without fleshly distractions and satanic counterfeits? No, not at all. There was a demonized witch prophesying publicly about the apostles, there was a sorcerer pretending to be a Christian, and a whole host of pharisees trying to discredit what God was doing and calling it all satan. We are about to see many people who have been prepared in the wilderness begin to become empowered by God to heal the sick and cast out evil spirits, and if you are one of those people these religious wannabes will say all manner of evil against you as well. Funny thing about pharisees, they don't focus on feeding the sheep, they focus on anyone that has God's power flowing through their lives and attack them. They did it then, they will do it now. The quickest way to shut down God's anointing upon your life is to agree with these nasty poisonous people by attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to the devil. I truly know the Holy Spirit, and He is very sensitive about certain things, and blasphemy is one of them. Does that mean that everything we will see will be the Holy Spirit? No, but if you have any level of discernment working in your life, then you should be able to pick out the true from the false. The disciples in Jesus day were used to seeing the pharisees attack Jesus during His ministry and you'd better get used to you being attacked and rejected by people once God's power flows through your life. This is about Jesus bringing the last harvest of souls in the earth in through you, so you will have to decide which is more important to you, their souls, or your reputation? Jesus always chose the souls, and He didn't care what people thought. There will always be some fleshly and demonic distractions during an outpouring, but you must not let this distract you from doing God's work and helping people. It's about preaching the gospel and allowing God to show people He is real through a true demonstration of His power. Keep your robe clean, your discernment sharp, and your skin thick, because you will be labeled as a heretic too if you walk in God's power to any substantial degree. It's a given. Trust the Holy Spirit of truth to show you if something is coming from Him or satan and He will. That's why He's called the Spirit of truth in the first place. Allow God's word and Spirit to bring light to any dark areas and keep your focus on obeying His direction rather than on the slander of pharisees. The time is here to be empowered, so break off any relationships with pharisees that could jeopardize God's ability to flow through you. Keep your eyes on Jesus. In Pursuit of Value There has been a whole generation of Joseph's that have grown up being treated with great contempt, restriction, and many humiliating reproaches which seem to deny them the normal value and life opportunities that so-called normal people have. Because of this we can develop a strong craving for approval and validation which can lead to spiritual pride, self- promotion, and competition amongst those who profess themselves to be humble servants of Jesus Christ. Many people mistakenly think that if they just get licensed as a so-called "Reverend" then people will finally value them. MT 20:24 When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. 25 Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-- 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Motives for serving are very important in God's eyes and we must ask ourselves honestly whom we are really serving when we are trying to help people. Are we trying to build a self-glorifying idol to create external value for ourselves, or do we have the heart of God that just loves and wants to feed His sheep? Things like tacking our name up on "our" ministry, giving ourselves the title of pastor, prophet, or apostle; and focusing on bigger numbers are all symptoms of trying to value ourselves through ministry. Our focus must be on feeding His sheep rather than feeding on His sheep. JN 21:15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." JN 21:16 Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." JN 21:17 The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep. GAL 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. Peter was not told to build a big ministry or franchise of churches, he was simply told to feed Jesus sheep and that is the right motive for serving in the kingdom. We must pray and ask God to give us His love and burden for the lost fresh every day, and then and only then can we truly serve and feed His sheep. We even need fresh sheep food from God every day to feed His sheep. If you have had a lifetime of being treated with contempt allow the Lord to give you His value and approval and be secure in His affirmation of you. Your day of promotion will come but it will not be for people to finally validate you, it will be so that His sheep can be fed through you. May God give us His heart of love to feed His sheep today. JN 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. Ingredients For Being Greatly Used MT 22:14 "For many are invited, but few are chosen." So, you feel a strong calling and burden to be used by God to help lots of people. Well guess what?, most Christians do. But when it really comes down to it only a few for the most part actually come to the place of maturity where they have everything truly necessary to operate at that level of service. Why? Because it takes a lot of perseverance, submission, patience, and breaking of everything that originates from self and sin to become truly ready. It's one thing to want something, but another thing to actually do the work in order to get it. LK 8:15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. If you have been in the wilderness for any length of time, then you know how hard it is to actually work through all of your soul junk, (sin habits, flesh, past pain) in order to grow up and be safe enough to handle God's resources in order to help people. But it's not enough to just want God's power to help people, you also have to want it for the right reasons. When your heart truly aches and breaks for those you are called to minister to, only then can you really help them. Below is a list of things that can help to prepare you to be used by God. 1. A testimony as a true overcomer- We all have a testimony because we were all sinners saved by grace, but people want to see and hear about how others with everyday problems find real answers from God. So whatever God has set you free from, that is your testimony. 2. A gift brought to a high level of excellence- We all have basic gifts given to us by God, but it is up to each one of us to fully develop that gift into a level of excellence where people can truly be helped and ministered to by it. A matured gifting will be sought out by more people. 3. A consistently holy and obedient life- Many great men and women of God have still fallen because of undealt with sin-habits. In this last harvest God will only empower and promote people who have allowed Him to fully purify them from all secret sin-habits and non-love. 4. A heart of love and a burden to feed the sheep- We don't need a desire to build a ministry, we need a heart that is full of God's love and a burden for the lost. If you are full of love for people then you will be more patient, kind, and genuinely interested in really helping them. 5. The power of God to heal and deliver- Words and a developed gift can help people to a certain extent, but God's power will bring them to a place of decision much faster than just preaching. Ask God to move through you in power and you will see a great harvest of souls. 6. Promotion and favor from God- It won't matter if you have all of the above qualities if God is not promoting you. Jesus is the one who opens up ministry doors and we just waste our time trying to kick them open. God's favor can bring you into the throne room of great kings. 7. Daily intimacy with God- Remember that it is Jesus actually feeding His sheep through what He gives to you everyday as you spend time with Him. The higher the quality of the food that you daily get from Him, the greater the quantity of people that will want to eat it. It would be good for all of us to go through this list and see if there is any element missing or lacking, because we all want to bear as much fruit as possible for Jesus. We live in the last days and the main reason that God has placed us all in the wilderness of change at the same time, is to develop, purify, and mature us into a place where we can all be chosen, not just called. Trust that God will work you though the above things as you daily cooperate with His spiritual training. God truly wants to change all of the invited, into being all of the ignited. MT 24:45 "Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. Just Feed His Sheep JN 21:15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." 16 Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." Jesus will always be faithful to give you spiritual food to feed His sheep with if you will let Him, but you must keep in mind that not everyone is going to like the food that you serve, and you can expect some food fights with people along the way. Satan wants to get God's under-shepherd's so distracted with foolish controversies and criticisms that he can get you to tone down the quality of the food you serve so much that there is little spiritual nutrition left in it by the time you are actually serving it to people. God likes His food hot and healthy. 2TI 2:14 Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. MT 15:13 He replied, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit." Jesus was often put to the test by the ultra-religious crowd, but He never let that distract Him from His primary goal of accomplishing God's daily will, and neither should you. When Jesus told Peter to feed His sheep, He didn't tell him to fight with them, or let them control or dominate him with criticism. Your job is just to feed His sheep, and anything beyond this mandate is a waste of time plain and simple. I am going to list a few of the more common distractions below that most people run into while they are regularly feeding Jesus' sheep. 1. Criticism- If you are not secure in your self-worth and spiritual gifting's you can get your rejection buttons pressed pretty easily and either want to modify your ministry, or just take your toys and go somewhere else. Give people what God gives to you and they will be fed. 2. Slander and gossip- You can expect all kinds of rumors and false accusations to come up when you are doing God's work and everything in you will want to defend yourself, but you must learn to get a thicker skin and ignore it. God will defend you if you really need it. 3. Needs of all kinds- Many needs will crop up when you are trying to do God's work and Satan will try to accuse God of child abuse. People that you feed may not help to support you as they should, and there may be times that you will want to just say "forget them all". 4. Having your authority questioned- People will say "Who does this person think they are anyway?", and any rebellion in people will spew out upon you with them saying you're not qualified enough in some way. If God has called you then that is all the authority you need. 5. Flattery and spiritual pride- Satan loves to get people so full of themselves that there is no room left for God. If what you are feeding the sheep with really helps them then it is because it came from God and not you, and the quickest way to lose God's glory is to try and take it. There are other distractions that come up as well, but the main thing is that you stay on course, keep loving and serving the sheep even when they bite, and fulfill Jesus' mandate to feed His sheep regularly. God will not ask you in the end how many miracles you did here, He will ask you if you really loved and served people here. Don't let anyone steal your love, peace, or joy, and just keep your eyes on Jesus and on the sheep you are supposed to be feeding. If you just keep your focus on feeding His sheep, everything else will work itself out. 1TI 1:5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6 Some have wandered away from these and turned to meaningless talk. 7 They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm. Kill Any Egyptians Lately? EX 2:11 One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. 12 Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. Moses obviously felt a strong burden and calling to defend and minister to the Israelites that lived in bondage as slaves in Egypt. But his timing to start this ministry seemed to be a bit premature because he failed it at first by killing an Egyptian that was beating an Israelite, and then he had to flee for his life because Pharaoh found out about it and sought to kill him. Even the people that should have been thanking him for defending them turned against him. EX 2:14 The man said, "Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and thought, "What I did must have become known." For those of us who have not yet completed our wilderness time, we have felt a strong burden to go and do things for God, so we have knocked and pounded on certain ministry doors only to be responded to with rejection and no thanks every time. This can be very perplexing and discouraging if you do not understand what is going on, but also comforting to know that the burden you feel from God is very real, your timing may just be a little off. EX 3:11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?" By the time your calling actually does come you may not even want to do the job like you used to, and like Moses you might want to just tell God to go find someone else. But God knew exactly what He was doing all these years while preparing you, and all of this time He has been working true humility, true holiness, and true obedience into your life. Your days of chasing ministry cease and you become happy to just do whatever God puts in front of you. EX 4:13 But Moses said, "O Lord, please send someone else to do it." When you are fully finished with your wilderness time then expect God to open up new doors and to send you out because the harvest field is truly ripe, but mature, holy workers are few. Relax and just do the work in front of you and try not to pound on anymore closed doors. Your time will come eventually where your ministry will seek you out, and in that day like Moses you must trust God to give you everything you need in order to accomplish it. MT 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Rather than trying to find our place through someone else's ministry, we should continue to just focus on growing up and working out the problems that have limited us from being used by God in ministry. Plus it is highly likely that you will get your own ministry after your wilderness ends that will work along side with others. So rather than chasing ministry in the flesh like Moses did, allow God to make you truly ready, and ministry will then chase you. 1PE 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Living By The Rules RO 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men. I just want to share a basic truth that can help to greatly improve your life. You see, as we walk through life and learn more we realize that things are actually much more simple than we might think. God built basic life rules of right and wrong into the root programming of our hearts which is called a conscience, and when we break these laws usually an alert goes off in our soul telling us that we are doing the wrong thing instead of the right thing. God's long term kingdom is made up of righteousness, or people who are willing to consistently do what is right. The earth and life are just a testing ground to see who will be obedient or not. DT 30:19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live There are some things in life that we have no control over like the body or family we are born into. We also have no control over how other people around us break God's life rules and hurt us, but we do have control over whether we do the right or wrong things in our life. Doing right brings God's blessing and approval, while doing wrong brings a curse and God's disapproval. He doesn't do this to be mean or to single us out, He just needs to promote the right in front of everyone, and discourage doing the wrong as an example to everyone around us. God's wants good examples to bless in front of others so that they will in turn do right. GE 4:7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it. God has high hopes for us from the start, but satan does everything he can to damage us and destroy our trust so that we only trust in ourselves and in the wrong ways that we use to deal with life's problems. Sin is just life-cheating and satan loves to get us into habits of breaking God's life rules so that the abnormal becomes normal to us. Hell is full of damaged people that learned to cheat in life and break God's life rules from a very young age. God knows that there were some very powerful reasons why they chose to life-cheat, but He also knows that we are all responsible to come to Him for help, rather than by breaking His rules. DT 11:26 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse-- 27 the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; 28 the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known. If you have lived a life that seems consistently cursed and disapproved of by God then you have an opportunity to turn that all around today by changing your life choices. If you are sick of always being on the loser end of the stick then look through your life and identify any area that you are breaking God's life rules and start doing right. God knows that you want a better life, but He must play by His own life rules just like we need to. God can only bless people that are willing to live by His rules. Today can be your turning point from death and curses, to life and God's blessing, so be willing to live by His rules and you will be blessed. JER 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Living Off The Grid PS 27:5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. One of the things you may be required to do, or you may already be doing, is living outside of the worlds normal governmental systems. This may include living illegally in a foreign country, not filing taxes, working without declaring it, not registering all your possessions under the worlds laws (cars, etc.), getting out of the worlds schools, or whatever else the Holy Spirit leads you to do, or not do, while you live outside normal life. You will also likely be forced to trust God for all your finances, food, and medical care for as long as it takes. If you have any fear of authority, or if you are legalistically minded, you may have a very difficult time at first living outside of the world's normal life support systems, because we have grown so accustomed to their false sense of security and we just don't want to break any rules or look bad in front of other people. So why would God bother taking us out of the world's system and force us to live outside of it for a time? I will list a few reasons why below to try and help explain it: 1. To teach us to live by faith in God alone by forcing us to trust God for everything we need in life without expecting to be bailed out by the government's support systems. 2. To break our fear and idolatry of the government because there is a coming time of persecution where the government will try to control, repress, or even kill Christians. 3. To prepare us to live by faith in group homes during this coming time of persecution and to be able to have a home of refuge ready to receive all who need to come there. 4. To hide us away during a time where an anti-Christian world government will outlaw Christianity and seek to persecute or execute anyone who claims to be a Christian. 5. To keep us in the wilderness as long as it takes to fully prepare and purify us. To prevent us from escaping the wilderness prematurely and running back to the world. HEB 11:7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. LK 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. There is going to be many people that God leads to buy property and homes in the last days so that ministry houses can be set up to help accommodate the harvest and also provide refuge for anyone that God sends there. The incident in Waco, Texas with David Koresh was no accident because satan wants the world to think that any group of Christians living together for God are a violent, dangerous, cult. There is going to be very many of these ministry homes around the world and some people will in fact have guns to help protect the people there. When persecution and poverty arises, you can expect looters to target Christian's homes. Our job is just to do God's will during the last days no matter how controversial it may become. God has been weaning us off of the world's government because the true government and kingdom of Jesus has come. MT 2:14 So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son." There are a number of people in the bible including Jesus that were hidden away by God for a season from the government for various reasons. We must understand that this whole earth belongs to God and not to the world's governments. Soon Christians will inherit the world, but those that rejected Jesus Christ will be awaiting judgment in Hell. Whatever God says is ok for you to do now, is in fact ok for you to do, even if the government doesn't agree with it. We must overcome our fears and obey God in these last days because worldwide persecution and the mark of the beast is likely coming in our lifetime. Our survival will truly depend upon our ability to learn to obey the daily life directions of the Holy Spirit. So be encouraged today my friend, your crazy off the grid life is no mere mistake, and you will see soon enough exactly why God had to do it. LK 21:27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." Modern Day Pharisees, the Persecutors of the Anointing I wanted to talk about the modern day pharisees, how they operate, and what you can expect from them as you walk forward into God's time of power and blessing in the coming days. I believe that most people on this list are fairly mature Christians, and they are people of integrity in their walk with God, so I am just going to tell it like it is because the day is upon us where this word will effect everyone's life here in one way or another. Very soon, most of you will be empowered by the Lord to begin laying hands on the sick and they will be healed, you will drive out demons from humans, and you will preach the message of the gospel and many people will be saved because of what God does through you. This is a reality, and this is what all of this preparation and Wilderness time has been about. All that God has told you He would do will happen. But just like when Jesus and the apostles operated under the power of God, you will be persecuted by legalistic false Christians also known as modern day pharisees. The pharisees of Jesus day were known by their spiritual pride, their self-righteousness, their jealousy of the anointing, their hypocrisy, their secret sin, their greed, their persecution of those that operate under the anointing, and their knowledge of scripture that they tried to use as a weapon against the righteous. These people are full of knowledge, but who are as fake as a three dollar bill. They hide in the darkness while claiming to walk in the light, they try to infiltrate and infest Christian groups like cockroaches, and when you turn the lights on they scurry away like the filthy vermin that they are. They are the people who try to pick apart every single word a man or woman of God speaks in an attempt to somehow discredit them, but it never succeeds. The only ones that listen to pharisees are other pharisees or those who are perishing, they may think they are doing God a favor by persecuting those He loves, but they are in for a very sad surprise very soon when they see they were in fact persecuting the Lord. Wherever you see genuine healing or manifestations of the Holy Spirit, these people will be outside with bullhorns denouncing the movement. They attack people that they do not know or have any dealings with, and they are really just jealous cowards that do not deserve the time of day from someone who has paid the price to be used by God. They are wells without water, and they will go to Hell when they die for the way they fought against God here in the earth. Jesus had nothing but contempt for these people and we should be no different towards them, they are snakes and vultures and they will say all manner of evil against you, but will not lift a finger to get to know those that they persecute. The love of God is not in them and the anger of God burns against them. Do not feel obligated to have anything to do with these hyenas and do not show them any mercy when they flatter you or try to worm their way into your meetings. They are ravening wolves that do nothing but try to kill and exploit the sheep Jesus died for. Soon, your name will be added to the ranks of those who have walked under the anointing like Benny Hinn, The Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, Brownsville, Joyce Meyer, Pat Robertson, and the many others who have given their lives to doing God's will in the earth. Are all these people I mentioned perfect? No, as a matter of fact I have been personally involved with most of them in one capacity or another. But they have given their lives to doing God's will in the earth and they have allowed the Lord to help many many people through them. These people deserve respect and honor and frankly these other people that trash and persecute them don't have a clue of all the pain, sacrifice, and heartache they have been through to do God's will in the earth. So, just understand this day my friend, that soon you will be added to this list and you too will be persecuted, but also understand that you will not be alone. We will stand together in this last harvest and nobody can take away God's call or anointing from your life. This is about helping people anyway, not about us, and God will surely use you in power in these last days, and you will be blessed in every way necessary to do His will in the earth. The following scriptures shed alot of light as to the true nature of a pharisitical false Christian, so make note of them and watch for these signs. In time you will spot them easily, and you must separate yourselves from such people, they are condemned and beyond all hope. MT 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? (Do you see how they try to get in on the ministry? but true discernment sniffs them out.) MT 9:34 But the Pharisees said, "It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons." (They try to attribute what the Holy Spirit does as satan's works.) MT 12:1 At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. 2 When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, "Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath."( They try to pick at, find fault with, and criticize every little thing you do.) MT 12:13 Then he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other. 14 But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus. (They are insanely jealous of the anointing and anyone who is used by God to help others with it.) MT 23:But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4 They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. (They are lazy fakes that do not live by the same silly standards they try to force upon others, they are sorry hypocrites that just make things harder and never easier on all those around them.) MT 23:5 "Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6 they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7 they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them `Rabbi.' (They love for everyone to think they are great when in fact they are the most sorry and pathetic of humans. They also love titles and to be called reverend or pastor.) MT 23:13 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. (They don't make it to Heaven in the end.) MT 23:15 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are. (Their ministry is inspired by Hell, and so are their disciples.) MT 23:23 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices-- mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. (It's all about outward works with pharisees, inwardly they are heartless, cruel, selfish, and merciless.) MT 23:25 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. (Pharisees are greedy and lovers of pleasure, they take from others to feed themselves.) MT 23:27 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. (God knows the reality of these peoples true selfish motives, and they will not get away with anything in the end.) MT 23:29 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30 And you say, `If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.' 31 So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your forefathers! (They are still trying to kill the prophets these days, only with evil words, gossip, and slander now.) MT 23:33 "You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?( No matter how good you want to think about these people, they are headed for Hell plain and simple. Save your mercy for those who deserve it, and steer clear of this nasty crowd.) Pharisee Identification Guide AC 9:5 "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. Below is just a kind of pharisee identification reference guide to help you to spot a modern day pharisee more quickly and easily. The reason that this guide is necessary is because most pharisees look like genuine Christians at first glance. But try to remember that even though you do identify a pharisee, that Saul was once a pharisee and Jesus turned him into a fisherman and Spirit-filled preacher in just a few days. We all have a bit of pharisee in us in certain areas, so it can also help us to clean up our pharisaical quirks as well. Now the list. Typical modern day pharisees: 1. Love titles like Pastor, Reverend, Prophet, Father, a college degree title, or whatever else gives other people the impression that they know it all, you don't, and that they should never be questioned in an argument because after all, they have an important title, and you don't. 2. Attack and continually criticize any ministry that has the power of God flowing through it for healing, miracles, the prophetic, or casting out of evil spirits. They try to attribute all the miracles to the demonic, and call the empowered person and their ministry all counterfeit. 3. Try to twist everything an empowered person says and does in order to trap them in their words or actions to hopefully discredit them and get other impressionable Christians to think that the empowered person is apostate, heretical, fake, and should be avoided at all costs. 4. Make heroes of past empowered revival leaders that have died, but make enemies of ones that are still alive and a threat to their unempowered ministry and image. This gives people the impression that they support revival, but this only applies to past revivals and the dead. 5. Love to be first. They go out of their way to be the most involved and rack up the numbers until they are at the top. They just want to appear as the most spiritual person in the group through greatest involvement. They carry around their worn underlined bibles for all to see. 6. Usually hypocrites. Pharisees usually talk a good holiness game, but if you were to see their home life they are harsh, unloving, legalistic, and controlling toward their families, and they usually secretly practice the very sin they so sharply preach against and condemn. 7. Love to argue about the law and the scriptures with people, but when it comes to actually loving people and helping the poor in secret, it is just too below them. Usually if you were to ask their mate if they were loving and serving, they would say "only if someone is watching". 8. Will try to get the government and police involved to shut you down if they can't. Expect these people to be the very ones that turn you in once the antichrist government outlaws all Jesus empowered preaching and ministry. This may even include close family and friends. 9. Just remember, pharisees always focus on attacking and criticizing other ministers and ministries, while God's fishermen and shepherds focus on catching fish and feeding sheep. If someone is always just trashing others in the name of exposing apostasy, then leave them. That's about it. You could easily add more to this list, and if you want to learn more just check out MT. 23:13- 33 and LK. 11:42-52. If you think that Jesus is soft on this kind of self-righteous garbage, think again. He called the pharisees a den of snakes when everyone else around back then thought they were the most anointed, and most appointed. We all need to get rid of this junk and start loving and serving people as Jesus commanded us to, otherwise our works here will count for nothing, and we could even go to hell in the end like they did. MT 23:33 "You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? Poverty Preaching There has been a growing trend mostly in the more pharisaical and religious crowd of denouncing anyone who advocates God blessing His people financially in any way. Although there has been some terrible abuses by greedy preachers swindling people in order to fill their pockets this does not mean that the basic principle of reciprocity is evil or unscriptural. This is just one of the things Jesus had to say about giving. LK 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Now motive is everything and we cannot of course treat God like some divine slot machine hoping to get some bigger return back for everything we give, but neither should we shun God giving us resources in order to help finance the great revival that's coming. We are also likely to face a global persecution after this harvest so we will need resources and refuges set up in order to survive outside of the world's system. AC 4:34 There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need. God has led most of us through our own personal wilderness in order to break us of all greed and materialism so that He can place more into our hands in order to help the needy among us. Like Joseph many of us will bring God's provision and goodness to the masses in order to help them and lead them to salvation through Jesus Christ. It is easier to speak to a mans heart when you have filled his empty stomach first. 1TI 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. There will always be greedy swindlers and people who have their focus on money instead of God, but there will also be others whom God has prepared to be refuges and storehouses during a time of great tribulation and persecution in order to provide and protect. It is alright to believe for what God has promised He would do through you and to receive what He wants to place into your hands in order to help those in need. AC 11:27 During this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.) 29 The disciples, each according to his ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea. 30 This they did, sending their gift to the elders by Barnabas and Saul. Purified Ministry You may or may not have been involved in what most Christians call "The Ministry", but we are all called to be ministers of the gospel, and carriers of Gods power, love, and anointing. Real ministry, is done through the Holy Spirit's direction, and God's power; faking it in the flesh will never bear good fruit. In this Wilderness, you are being purified and pruned, so that you can bear more fruit. And rest assured, God is going to use you on a very large scale when you are truly ready. You may even feel like it's too much at first, but the harvest is ripe, and the truly ready laborers are few. This is what Jesus said; JN 15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. JN 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. You have probably noticed by now, that in the wilderness, you are getting pruned all the way down to the roots, and boy does it hurt sometimes. Every root of selfishness, pride, dishonesty, idolatry, lust, bitterness, and unforgiveness, is laid bare for the Master Gardener to heal and fertilize. You may feel very vulnerable during this time, and those things you used to be able to keep stuffed down inside you, just come out anyway. If this is happening, just remember, God is doing this for your good, and it will not last forever. God just wants what we give to people in ministry, to be safe and truly full of Him. You are being prepared to have God pour out His power, anointing, and resources into your life, and into the work He has called you to, and this means that everything in your life that has not been bearing good fruit will have to be cut off. Ouch. And God can't be manipulated, or bargained with, you are kind of like Jonah in the fish without much of a choice, but it was in that state that He received some critical revelation about himself, and God. Also remember, that after all these energy draining sucker vines are clipped away, and the wounded area is healed, you will have so much more energy to devote to things that really do bear good fruit, and the avenues to your heart for torment will be shut for good. God may, or may not allow you to do a lot of distractive ministry during this time, or He may suddenly shut it all down, and ask you to walk away. This can be a real tough test because usually we get a lot of purpose gratification from our giftings, and also people pressure us to "perform", so saying "no", can be really hard. Don't worry, God only shuts things down for a season, so that He can work on you. You are kind of up on spiritual jacks, much like your car getting worked on at the garage. Sooner, or later, the lift will descend back down, and you will be back on the road; only safer, and more super-charged. I have been involved in what many would consider the highest levels of ministry, and I learned a lot about what real ministry is, and what it is not. I'm just going to be blunt, I think most of us here, are fairly mature Christians, otherwise you probably wouldn't be in the wilderness. God is sick of fleshly, self-centered, manipulative, carnal ministry. We have all done this kind of ministry at some point, but as you have probably noticed, the churches are emptying out, and God is through supporting anyone, or anything that does not allow Him to direct and lead. God wants to flow through us in power to help people. I know this may sound like a strong word, but it is the truth. You may have noticed that some of the top ministers and ministries in the Kingdom, are suddenly being exposed for practicing serious secret sin for years. I have had to deal with one of these situations personally, and it made me understand that God wants true holiness in us all, and He doesn't care about our reputations, He cares about us, and the things that have kept us bound and hurting. We must support each other and understand that God is helping us all to prepare ourselves for this great harvest of souls, and also for His soon coming. We have a choice right now, we can either fall on the Rock, or have the Rock will fall on us. Change only comes through the Holy Spirit's work of transformation, and with our daily cooperation. There really is no "white knuckling it", to stay free, it just doesn't last. But understand this dear friends, God has a plan specifically designed for you to help you to get free, and you will be completely free and holy when this is over. When you heal the root, you heal the fruit that the tree produces.You may have struggled for years to purify yourself in the flesh, but God can do it in mere weeks, with His revelation, conviction, and grace as we agree with Him, and cooperate with Him. So embrace this great work of purification that is happening to you; there is a new freedom and anointing just ahead. Putting The Holy Spirit In A Box JN 9:15 Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. "He put mud on my eyes," the man replied, "and I washed, and now I see." 16 Some of the Pharisees said, "This man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath." But others asked, "How can a sinner do such miraculous signs?" So they were divided. Sometimes God will offend the mind to get to the hearts of people. Jesus often did things in what was considered to be a very unconventional manner. Miracles have a way of bringing out any religious mindsets and spiritual pride, but the bottom line is that it is just plain envy and jealousy that motivates people to persecute the miracles that Jesus does in the earth. We are now entering a great time of revival that is going to last for many years, and we will see some very common people, do some very uncommon things, in some very common places. And because these virtual nobodies will be walking in God's power, you can expect these same nasty religious spirits to mock and ridicule the miracles that God will be doing. JN 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will. 32 Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing." The bottom line is that power talks, and people will listen to the message of the gospel when the Lord performs a miracle for them. Always check the fruit of a miracle; are people being brought closer to, or further away from Jesus? The religious crowd will usually just say that if God is not doing the miracle through them, then it is likely not God at all, and it must then be Satan. God will never contradict His own words, but He will often do things a little bit differently than we expect Him to just to test our faith, and to draw out any spiritual pride in us. You cannot have real revival without the power and leadership of the Holy Spirit helping you, so we must be careful not to judge things just because we don't fully understand them. JN 9:39 Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind." 40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, "What? Are we blind too?" 41 Jesus said, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains. You can try to put the Holy Spirit in a box, but if you do, He will just jump out of it and all you will be left with is the box, and no miracles. Many churches are just empty boxes now. Unless we have fully repented of all sin, are walking in the Holy Spirit's daily direction, full of God's love for people, and we are actively preaching the gospel with miracles backing it up, then we should be very careful about calling what the Holy Spirit may be doing, Satanic. The last time I checked, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit was still an unforgivable sin, so we need to humble ourselves and ask God to show us exactly what is of Him, and what is not. This is your day to walk in God's power, so don't let anyone cheat you out of it just because of fear. MK 3:28 I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. 29 But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin." 30 He said this because they were saying, "He has an evil spirit." The word must be applied by the Holy Spirit, otherwise it all just becomes the law again. In the months and years ahead we are going to see God do many things that will not make a lot of sense to the pragmatic legalistic mind. But for those who constantly walk in God's love and spiritual discernment, they will be able to pick out whether something is a false or true miracle very easily, because they are willing to ask God about it, rather than to judge it as just demonic. Our day to rise up and walk in God's power has finally come now, so we must all stop expecting God to only do things our way, or He will just hit the highway. It's time to let the Holy Spirit out of our legalistic boxes, and to do things His way from now on. EPH 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Spiritual Earthquakes HEB 12:25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." 27 The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken--that is, created things--so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Many people are receiving spiritual earthquakes in their lives right now where there is a sharp and sudden shaking of everything they are involved with, and all you can do is hang on for dear life until the shaking stops. There are many of us that need a sharp shaking right now because we have become complacent and we need to move forward into all that God has called us to. These jolts happen in order to show us what is loose and vulnerable in our lives, and also to motivate us to change in whatever ways that God has been wanting us to. When a spiritual earthquake hits your home or ministry you will need to not get into your flesh or become impulsive, because everything is going to be pushing your flesh buttons all at once. You will need to remember what God has shown you about the weak areas in your soul and do the right thing this time, even if everyone else around you is doing all the wrong things. In a real earthquake what do you do? You take cover and hang on until the shaking stops, and you will need to pray and hang onto Jesus when a spiritual shaker hits your life. These sudden shake ups may include a big unexpected conflict in your family or ministry, being slandered and sold out by people that you trusted, a bunch of financial needs and not enough money to cover them, things strangely breaking down, addictions, marriages being rocked to the core and threatened with divorce, spiritual attacks that cause you or someone close to you to have a blow up and behave out of character, or whatever other thing that can be shaken. Many companies shake their products in order to test them, and so does God. This is a day where we all need to get it right because the trials and tribulations in the world are going to increase where we must become unshakable in order to have stable lives and be there for people. We went through the wilderness to have our souls gone through and to be shown the real us, both good and bad. So expect these spiritual earthquakes to come periodically, and try to keep your head even when everyone else around you isn't. Learn to do the right thing consistently during your spiritual earthquake, and you will pass the test. ISA 29:6 the LORD Almighty will come with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with windstorm and tempest and flames of a devouring fire. Spots and Wrinkles EPH 5:27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. For those of us who will be part of this new move of God in the earth He has been allowing all of our buried junk and sin habits to be forced up to the surface right now so that any underlying potential sin or disobedience can be faced and eradicated. He does this by pulling His grace (divine enablement) back so that whatever risky parts of our soul that have been hiding in the dark will be forced into the light. This is a mercy. Do you know what your spiritual robe looks like right now? Well if you have ever had a spot or wrinkle on your clothes and didn't notice it, then you must know how really embarrassing it would be to have to show up in heaven like that with stains all over us. We now stand at the end of man's rule on the earth and also at the threshold of Jesus' reign, so it is obvious why dealing with all potential weak areas now is so very critical. Although having all of our shortcomings being driven to the surface for all to see is very embarrassing and humiliating at times, just remember that anyone who is a real Christian is having their character defects dealt with just the same exact way as you are right now. And it is much better to face our flesh now and get rid of it, than it would be to face it in front of Jesus later on. Trust God to help you to clean your robe today. Super Humans Sorcery n. The belief in magical spells that harness occult forces or evil spirits to produce unnatural effects in the world. AC 8:9 Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed 10 and all the people, both high all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, "This man is the divine power known as the Great Power." 11 They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his magic. We have entered a time in history where the supernatural will become much more natural. Both Christians and non-Christians are going to be exhibiting what appears to be super human feats that exceed the normal physical laws that limit us as human beings. Because of all this amazing phenomena we will need to know how to react to it and where it is coming from because this time I speak of is already upon us now. MT 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time. We now have street sorcerers like Criss Angel and David Blaine that can levitate, walk on water, and perform a myriad of apparent miracles, but where is their power coming from? Their power is coming from demons that can perform false miracles in order to draw people into the occult and enslave them spiritually. People that crave self-glory and power are drawn into the occult because they want to be seen as God. HEB 2:4 God also testified to it (the message of salvation through Jesus Christ) by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. Now what about Christians that operate in the supernatural? There have been many reports from credible prophets that normal Christians will soon be performing signs, wonders and supernatural feats as well, but the motive for doing them is not so people will think that man is God, but rather they will see and believe that Jesus Christ is God. All true miracles from God should lead people to salvation through Jesus Christ. AC 5:12 The apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade. AC 5:17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. 18 They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. As God uses His people to perform signs that He is real do not be surprised if the modern religious pharisees get jealous and try to persecute you. These can even be people you have trusted in and walked with in the past. These signs among Christians will cause great controversy in the Church so be warned that if you allow God to flow through you in power that you will be attacked, slandered, rejected, and excluded. 2TH 2:9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10 and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. We have entered the last days in which the Antichrist will be revealed and confirmed by many false miracles. The Holy Spirit will always testify to our spirit as to where a miracle is coming from so we need not worry when we see false miracles. Christians will be performing real miracles but the purpose will always be to glorify Jesus and not man. Allow God to use you to confirm His message by signs, wonders, and miracles. EX 7:11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: 12 Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs. Swindling Swindle- DEF. To intentionally cheat or trick someone for personal gain through deception, fraudulent acts, dishonesty, false deeds and statements. 1CO 6:10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 2 PE 2.3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. When we speak or act in any way toward someone in a manipulative or deceitful manner in order to coerce them to give us money, service, or goods, that is swindling. I was watching a television program recently from the premier Christian network where I live and the person speaking was saying things that were deliberately meant to trick and push people into sending money to support that network. I have worked with that ministry so I know the financial pressures that they are under, but there is never any excuse to manipulate, pressure, or deceive anyone in order to meet peoples needs. PHP 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Many of us who have been in the wilderness have had to learn not to manipulate people to meet our needs and to just trust God to help us. But we all know how scary it can be when we have a critical need and can't meet it ourselves. It is a test that we all must face. But ours and other peoples responsibility is just to present our needs and then to let God meet them, and to not manipulate or beg from people. People are capable of doing anything when they get desperate enough, and you never know how greedy someone can be until there is something to be greedy over and they want it. LK 12: 15 Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." We are about to enter a time when many wilderness Christians will be blessed financially to not only be restored, but also to have funding to help people during this harvest and the following persecution. Understand that many people out of fear, greed, or desperation may try to swindle you and take what God places into your hands, but they must learn to trust God to meet their needs just like you did. I have encountered a few Christian con artists, but it taught me to never trust flesh. We must be led by God's Spirit in all financial dealings, and to never give money unless He directs us to. LK 16:10 "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? God is not supporting any ministry or person that does not submit to His leadership or who practices secret sin, so people that do these things have no other choice but to try to manipulate and cheat people out of their money to meet their needs. If we are feeding people the food that God gives us to feed them and living right then people will give to us as God leads them to, and all our needs will be met. We must not swindle, nor should we tolerate someone trying to swindle us. We must manage all that God places into our hands whether it is 50 cents or 50 million, according to His direction. 2CO 9:10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. Thank God That You Didn't Get Your Way GE 40:23 The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him. There are many of you reading this right now that could have accomplished great things in this world and gone very far, but for some strange reason these pursuits always alluded you and stayed just out of your grasp. This was no mistake my friend. You see, God has had to restrict you from certain career paths and even certain relationships that would have likely distracted and prevented you from later walking in the better calling that He had for your life. GE 41:55 When all Egypt began to feel the famine, the people cried to Pharaoh for food. Then Pharaoh told all the Egyptians, "Go to Joseph and do what he tells you." Joseph had tremendous potential to do many things in life, but each time that something seemed to be working out for him something would always happen that thwarted his goals to have his own way. You too could have risen to accomplish many things in life, but at what cost? There are many people in these last days that will need your unique ministry and if God had not restricted you, and if he let you have your own way, they would have lost you. ISA 46:10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. So if you are sitting here at the end of your wilderness time right now looking at your life like it's one big failure, then you are completely wrong. Being restricted by God and failing are two different things, and instead of getting mad at God for what didn't happen you should be thanking Him because you have not seen the end yet my friend, and your finish is going to be so much more rewarding and gratifying than anything you could have built by yourself. LK 18:29 "I tell you the truth," Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God 30 will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life." Jesus wasn't kidding around or exaggerating when He told us that we must be prepared to sacrifice everything we love and value in order to follow His plan. You may not feel like you have accomplished that much in life so far, but walking by faith is the best gift that you can give to God. Trust that the plan God has for your life will pan out as you cooperate with what He asks of you, and that in the end His way will work out in the best case scenario for you. JER 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. The Anti-Christ spirit There is a spirit that hates Jesus Christ and anything connected to Him, and that spirit is the anti-christ spirit. It's name literally means "against christ", so wherever the real Christ is, there will be forces of evil and people willing to let those forces use them to attack the true followers of Christ. This spirit finds its most fertile ground in the hearts and minds of those who are full of spiritual pride, insecurity, and jealousy over anything or anyone who seems to have more of Gods blessing or virtue flowing through their lives than they do. This spirit will soon culminate itself into a kingdom on earth and in a man that will openly attack and try to kill all that is of God. These people attack those who walk in God's power just like the original pharisees were constantly attacking Jesus and his disciples who operated under the power of the Holy Spirit. In this last move of God in the earth you are going to find two types of people, the first group of people will be people with alot of knowledge of the bible and religious service, but no real love, humility, discernment, or intimate walk with God. The second group will be people broken in the Wilderness and who are humble, discerning, loving, and who just want to do God's will in the earth to help others because they genuinely care about people as their Father does. The best way you can guard against this nasty spirit is to check your own heart for any spiritual pride, insecurity, or jealousy of those being used and blessed of God. The main things that prevent this spirit from getting a stronghold in you is 1. Discernment, 2. Humility and 3. Being full of God's love. We must get good at recognizing what is God and what is not, and this may be challenging since God uses some pretty peculiar people sometimes. We must get it out of our head that God has to fit into our brain box. Humility comes from knowing who God and you really are, which will create security and stability in your heart because you will know that God truly loves and accepts you just because He loves and accepts you, not because of what you know, or what you don't know. Filtering everything through God's love will help you to see with His eyes. God sees everything through eyes of love and although He can be stern and severe with those who are full of pride, even then His intent is to cause them to repent. This spirit is responsible for all the persecution against real Christians in the world, and has been on the rise in North America, it absolutely hates anything that is truly of Christ and it can spot the anointing better than most Christians can. Ask God to reveal any areas of your heart that have been sympathetic to this spirits work, and let God set you free. Discernment and love will go a long in helping you to stay clean and see correctly. This chasm between the pharisees and the fishermen is widening fast so make sure you are on the right side. The attacks will get worse so as much as you would like to stay neutral, you will be attacked if your start flowing in any kind of anointing. We must die to our reputation and fear and let God use us to help the many lost and hurting of this world. Remember, no matter who attacks you that you do not stand alone, Jesus and the fishermen stand with you. The battle is the Lord's. MT 5:11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. The Beginnings of WW III? MT 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. Ever since Israel became a nation in 1948 there has been constant turmoil over their territory. Now with the recent trouble in Lebanon this latest conflict feels different for some reason, and there is an ominous foreboding that perhaps we are entering what could be considered as World War III. We have had wars and rumors of wars all throughout history, but the spiritual signature of these latest events feels like something much more serious. Weather disasters added, things could get very scary. Could there be a world war between Muslims and Non-Muslims? Things are all beginning to come to a culmination everywhere where diplomacy will no longer suffice. Jesus said that such things must happen but that we were not to be alarmed because God is still in control. God has planted a large harvest in this earth and it is time for all mankind to choose whom they will serve; God, or the Devil. Conflict and persecution have a way of revealing peoples hearts as to where their true allegiances really lie. It seems that we have certainly entered the birth pangs described in the above scriptures but you have to keep in mind what will be birthed in the end; the return and rule of Jesus Christ in the earth. All these bad things that will be happening can be used as an evangelistic tool for leading people to faith in Jesus Christ. God knows exactly how to bring in this harvest so we must trust Him no matter how challenging or difficult things may get in the earth. This is truly a time for bold faith, not for fear. HOS 3:4 For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or idol. 5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days. The Great Divide 2PE 3:3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. We have entered a time period where darkness and light are becoming fully pronounced and people will be forced to choose and get on one side or the other. Blasphemy and claims that Christianity is a fraud have become much more popular these days and unless you have a real and living relationship with Jesus Christ it will become increasingly more difficult to walk as a Christian. We may even reach a point where Christianity will be considered a worldwide illegal religion where Christians will be persecuted and put to death en masse. But through this onslaught of evil there is a division and purging that is taking place that will help us to bring in this last harvest. LEV 18:3 You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices. 4 You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the LORD your God. When the Israelites conquered the promised land it was filled with people who had embraced paganism and deception just like they are doing today. God just told His people to take the land and to not allow what darkness was doing to distract or pollute their mission and walk with Him. God had built a deep foundation of relationship with His people in the wilderness which helped them to remain strong, dedicated, and focused once their conquest for Canaan began. God has also done the same thing for us in these last days by bringing us through His wilderness in order to help us to remain strong as we go forward to battle evil and darkness for the souls of mankind. JN 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." We will continue to see darkness get darker and the Light get lighter, and we must always keep in mind that God will indeed vindicate His truth to every living being in the end. We need not feel threatened or get defensive when we see such evil lies being thrown out as fact, but rather we must stand ready to march into this world with God's pure truth and destroy the works of darkness with His great love and power. There are many in darkness that will come to the light, and there will be false Christians who will walk away from the light. The sheep and the goats will continue to divide and be more defined as we walk forward and rather than fearing darkness we need to just walk in the light. There will be no gray areas ahead so embrace the light fully today and live. The "I, Me, My" and the "Reverend Wonderful" Ministries are Over We have entered a time in the kingdom of God where only those who lift of the name of Jesus Christ and the message of His gospel will be used by God at any real level of power or anointing in this last harvest. The day of so-called "ministers" talking incessantly about themselves in their so-called sermons and the countless titles they paste onto the front and back of their names is over and finished. If someone’s "word" is full of "I, me, and my’s", run. There is no longer any place or room for any ministry that will not put food in a hungry stomach, or arms around a frightened, hurting soul. God is done supporting self-centered people and He will only use and promote people that have His heart and who are promoting His agenda, not theirs. This is not a time in history to be looking to build a bigger ministry (or an idol to ones own glory), it is a time to let God change our hearts until they beat with the overwhelming burden and love for the lost as His does. It is a time to choose fully and without mixture whom we will serve and to kick the spiritual prostitutes out of our spiritual beds. It is a time for us to shut off the TV and computer and to wait alone with no distractions to hear the Lord's voice and to give God our full attention, not our partial distracted attention. For those who allow God to transform their hearts into His and who allow Jesus Christ to be promoted in all they do and say, God will meet with them in their tent and He will indeed sup with us. Our Father longs for His kids. We live in a world with very real threats and their are thousands of people who don't have a clue but think they do. It is a time where we must show people where true peace and safety lie. This is a time to forsake all sin and to be fully obedient, not partially obedient. God's great love and glory await any man, woman, or child who will humble themselves, live fully obedient, and who will wait at His feet with no distractions to hear His wonderful voice. The Man In The Mirror RO 2:1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. One of the things that God does when He wants to help change us in some area is He will place someone in our path that does exactly the same unpleasant things we do, so that we can finally see just how offensive it is to be around it. It is like having a spiritual mirror placed in front of you and having God say "See, that's exactly what you do". He is not doing this to be mean though, He just knows that the only way we will finally get it, is if someone is doing the same exact things to us, that we regularly do to others. It's God's tool meant to help us. LK 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. Many times there are ways that we behave toward others that feel right to us, but if viewed from the person on the receiving end it is actually very unpleasant to be around. We can be very critical, condemning, abusive, judgmental, and basically just "unloving" toward people and we rationalize it in so many ways and think we are just doing the right thing for people. But the truth is, that some of the ways we treat people really hurt them, and when someone treats us the way it doesn't feel very good and it motivates and convicts us to finally change. GAL 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whatever we sow into people is what we will reap back, and it is really unrealistic to sow criticism into your family and expect to reap back acceptance from them. If you want people to love and be merciful to you, then sow that into them first. And there is no point in trying to get rid of the "mirror people" that God sends to show you, "you", because two more will just take their place. We must either choose pride and denial and stay stuck, or humility and honestly and be changed. This is your day to see Jesus in your mirror and no longer flesh. 1CO 13:12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. LK 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. We are entering a time in history where God is going to bless many Christians who have been properly prepared because after this harvest there is going to be time of terrible persecution for Christians. Many will need to escape to ministry homes that God has prepared during this now time of abundance. Let God, His word, and the Holy Spirit lead you into all the resources that you and others will need during this time. PR 11:10 When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy. DT 29:9 Carefully follow the terms of this covenant, so that you may prosper in everything you do. God did not bring the Israelites who dwelt in the wilderness into poverty or lack, He brought them into prosperity and abundance. So will it be for those of us who leave our wilderness and enter our promised land. Do not allow anyone to talk you out of your faith or the promises that God has given you to bless you. God loves you and He wants to restore you after your wilderness so that He can help people through you. DT 5:32 So be careful to do what the LORD your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. 33 Walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. The Pharisee Or Fishermen Test Whenever miracles begin to happen you can expect anyone with a problem with spiritual pride or jealousy to begin to persecute anyone who looks like they are being used or blessed by God more than they are. Envy and jealousy are not just problems in Jesus day, they crop up whenever anyone walks in God's power. And since we are about to experience a worldwide explosion of God's power you can also expect many modern day Pharisees to come out of the woodwork against those that operate in His anointing. The following test will help you to identify these modern day Pharisees, and it will also help you identify some attributes of those who are true kingdom Fishermen. Modern day Pharisees: 1. Persecute those who are walking in God's power, rather than praying for or helping them, or growing up enough spiritually to qualify to be used in power themselves. 2. They enjoy having titles or initials of college degrees before or after their names in order so that people will think they are the most special and important people around. 3. Feed off the sheep, rather than feeding the sheep. They try to make people meet their needs, rather than meeting the needs of those they are supposed to be serving. 4. Everything they do is for people to see and secretly admire them. They walk in false humility, and love for people to think they are the most spiritual person around. 5. Love the place of honor. They want to be considered the number one leader, but they shy away from the work and responsibilities that go along with such a position. 6. They make fun of anyone God is really blessing and using in power. They mock, slander, and gossip about people whom the Lord is performing true miracles through. 7. They flatter you to your face, but will do their best to discredit, insult, and malign you behind your back by getting all the dirt and personal info on you that they can. 8. Very controlling people. They do their very best to control everything and everyone around them, and what they cannot control, they persecute until maybe they can. 9. Too good to associate with sinners. They like being around other similar people, but will not go into the streets to help the needy because they think it is beneath them. 10. They do not really love people. Even if they serve people it is with hidden selfish motives, and you will never hear or see them do anything that demonstrates true love. 11. They attribute the works of the Holy Spirit to the works of the Devil. They call the genuine outpouring of God's power demonic, and tell everyone else that it is all evil. 12. They create organizations in order to control and dominate people, rather than allowing and promoting the leadership of Jesus through the direction of His Holy Spirit. Modern day Fishermen: 1. Rejoice when God is doing miracles through people, and they do their best to help and pray for them. They also work to become empowered themselves to help others. 2. Shun titles. They know that real ministry is just loving and feeding Jesus' sheep and using a title smacks of spiritual pride, insecurity, and a desire to be Lord over others. 3. Feed the sheep and not try to exploit people. They do not use people to meet their own selfish desires, rather they look for ways that they can give instead of receiving. 4. Everything they do is born out of love. They don't even care if God sees the good works they do, they only care about genuinely helping people to grow and mature. 5. They look to honor others above themselves, and actually try to discourage people from honoring them in any way. They look for ways to glorify God and not themselves. 6. It angers and disgusts them to hear of good men and women of God being cruelly and carelessly mocked by those who have not paid the price to walk in God's power. 7. They refuse to flatter people or try to manipulate others to gain an advantage. They never slander or gossip about people behind their back and they rebuke those that do. 8. They never try to control people, they promote the lordship and leadership of the Holy Spirit in peoples lives. They teach people to be dependent upon God, not them. 9. Their heart is to help those who are truly hurting. They would walk through the most dangerous part of town just to minister to one person that really needs God's help. 10. They love people because God's love is flowing through their hearts. God's great compassion and burden for the lost governs their lives and the actions of all they do. 11. They would never dream of blaspheming the Holy Spirit by calling His works the Devil. They have enough discernment to know what is truly of God, and what is not. 12. They steer away from anything that strips God of His rightful leadership over His own people, and their heart is just to allow God to be God in any and every situation. Now in all fairness, we are all usually a combination of both the Pharisee and the Fishermen to some degree, but as we yield to the daily work of the Holy Spirit He will purge us from all of our Pharisaical qualities, and replace them with the heart of a true kingdom Fishermen. There were some Pharisees in Jesus day that did get saved, and even Paul went from hurting Christians to becoming one of them, and then assisting them. We too must stop walking in the ways of the Pharisee, and walk as Fishermen. If you have either knowingly or unknowingly persecuted Jesus by wrongly persecuting His sheep, then there is a prayer below to help get free from the spirit of the Pharisee. "Dear Jesus, you have seen how I have behaved like one of the Pharisees of old by the way I have wrongly mistreated, judged, and persecuted some of your sheep at different times. I confess that I have been unloving and I have harbored resentment and bitterness toward certain people of the kingdom, but I don't want to do that anymore. Now I want to walk as a true Fishermen in your kingdom. Please forgive me for any and all spiritual pride, envy, and unrighteous judgment, that I have ever walked in and help me to move from being a critical and condemning Pharisee, to being a kind and truly loving kingdom Fishermen. In your precious name I ask and pray Jesus, amen." MT 15:10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen and understand. 11 What goes into a man's mouth does not make him `unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him`unclean.' " MT 15:12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?" MT 15:13 He replied, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit." The Pharisees Reward We are stepping into a time of unprecedented miracles and when we see them we will have two choices. We can either be skeptical, critical, and unbelieving, or we can ask God about it and rejoice by faith that God is moving in our midst. The Pharisees of Jesus day did nothing but try to pick apart and analyze every miracle He performed to the point that in the end they didn't experience any themselves. We have many modern day Pharisees that are doing the same thing today and they are running into the same danger of not only missing God's miracles, but blaspheming and missing Heaven altogether. We can become too analytically minded to be any spiritual good. JN 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. Some of the greater things we are about to see will be things that we have never seen in the bible so we will have to ask God about whether what we see and experience is indeed from Him or not, and also match it up to God's word. But we must be careful that we don't just carelessly label everything as the flesh or the Devil when in fact it could just be God but we are too blinded by pride to see it. Pharisees get jealous and envious when they see God doing something in someone else's life that He is not doing in their lives, so they deliberately try to discredit the miracle to save face. Do we want to rejoice with or persecute people? When things you see are filtered through love and not cynicism you can see things through God's eyes of faith. MK 6:5 He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6 And he was amazed at their lack of faith. Do you want God to be amazed at your lack of faith, or your great faith? The choice is yours, but you must choose who you consort with. When you hang around critical and skeptical people you will soon become just as critical and skeptical as they are. We must surround ourselves with people who are full of faith and God's love and then you will be in a better position to be used by God in power. The truth is that it was the lowly fishermen who experienced all of God's miracles, not the pharisees, but there is usually a mixture of both in all of us so we need to ask God to purge us of all unbelief and unrighteous judgment toward the works of the Holy Spirit. This is your day to stand so be the fishermen that God created you to be and be willing to have true faith. LK 19:37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: 38 "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" 39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!" 40 "I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out." Which response will you give to the miracles of Jesus? The Real Purpose of Prosperity Most of us who have been in the Wilderness have learned to live by faith, and on God's daily manna of financial and material provision. We have learned that we don't need alot of the junk that the world chases after and that God really can be trusted to give us what we actually need to live. We have learned that "things" and the pursuit of financial and material wealth is a trap and a distraction, so we are usually fairly balanced in this area by now. Most of us are honest, humble men and women of God who have learned to give to the Lord and to the needy as the Holy Spirit directs us to, and because of that God will bring an increase in our income because He wants us to have more to give. God wants to help the world through people that are dead to greed, and who carry His love and heart to meet the needs of the needy in a city. LK 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." MT 7:9 "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. LK 12:32 "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Now on the other end of the spectrum, we have some preachers that treat God like a bank machine and manipulate (swindle) people into giving their money to them with the promise that God will prosper them if they do. Their motive is pure greed and what they do is most evil and despicable in God's eyes. Because of this, the pharisees have tried to turn all teaching about prospering financially and reciprocity into some kind of con-artist ploy. But once again we have to keep the baby, and just throw out the demons and lies with the bath water, and we need to have proper teaching on this subject so that we can receive all that God wants to give us by faith to help finance this last revival, and to meet the needs of the needy with it. It is not a sin to have money, it is a sin to be greedy, selfish, and to be self- indulgent. We just have to go through the Wilderness first though to get our priorities straightened out, and change our heart. MT 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. PR 10:22 The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. God does want us to have all we need to do His work and to help others with, but He doesn't want money or things to be a hindrance, distraction, or idol to us. The world always misquotes the scripture when they say "Money is the root of all evil", when in fact it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. We need money to live and to buy the things we need. God wants us to have more than enough to live and to give to others, but He needs us to mature enough first where our love and walk with Him will not be damaged by adding things that would pull us away from Him. You don't throw your car keys to your toddler and neither does God, but when your child reaches adolescence and shows responsibility, you are willing and desiring to do all that you can to bless them and help them in their adult life. Some people try to sidestep the growth-work though, and turn Christianity into a money scamming operation. This is very sad. 1TI 6:9 People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. TIT 1:10 For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group. (Pharisees who became Christians)11 They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach--and that for the sake of dishonest gain. 2PE 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. MT 7:15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. So you see, this whole greed and money scamming thing is nothing new, it has been going on for some time now. But we must not make the mistake of labeling everyone that teaches that if you are obedient to God's financial principles of giving, reaping, and sowing, that they are heretics. Just because some people have learned to be obedient to the Holy Spirits leading in who they should give to they should not be persecuted because God is using and blessing them. Most of this spiritual manipulation comes from the pulpit because pastors push the sheep to give to keep the religious machine going, all the while the poor and needy of their city are ignored. God is done financing people or religious institutions that are just feeding themselves and ignoring the poor and needy of their city. He is looking for obedient givers that will give exactly what He tells them to, to exactly whom He tells them to give to. Ironically, it was the original pharisees who were always scheming to cheat people out of their money all the time. MT 23:25 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. 1TI 6:3 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4 he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5 and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. Pharisees love to argue about doctrine but their motive is usually to dominate, control, and eventually exploit. It will never take long for a Pharisee to ask about your finances, and where they go. MT 6:24 "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. AC 5:17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. 18 They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. 19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. 20 "Go, stand in the temple courts," he said, "and tell the people the full message of this new life." In the coming days, you will be experiencing post-wilderness restoration where God is going to begin to open up new avenues of financial blessing to help to restore you and to make you a channel of resources for this revival and to give to the poor. This world is about to experience a severe economic downturn and they will look to God to help them. The Holy Spirit will tap you on the shoulder and tell you what to do with what He gives you. Freely you will receive so freely give. You will be persecuted by the modern day pharisees who will be jealous of God's apparent blessing upon you, and they will be angry that He is not blessing them too. They will do everything they can to discredit you but you must not allow it to distract you from this harvest. Your job is to do what God tells you to do in this revival. He is the Lord of the harvest, so allow Him to make you a modern day Joseph to manage His storehouses of provision for the needy of this world. God wants to draw them to him by helping Him with real help and love. MT 5:42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. AC 4:32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. 34 There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need. PHP 4:14 Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. 17 Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account. 18 I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. The So-Called Apostate Church JNH 4:11 But Nineveh has more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left, and many cattle as well. Should I not be concerned about that great city?" You will find the more you actually get to know God that He thinks very redemptively and compassionately toward people. Yes God is holy, and yes He hates sin, but He also knows that we as people can be very foolish and ignorant. God knows that many of us don't know our spiritual right hand from our left, even though we think we do. Even Jesus asked God to forgive the religious people that were crucifying Him, because He knew they were ignorant. Many of us were caught up in the religious system of our day and happily skipping down the road of spiritual ignorance when God mercifully began to convict and correct us to come out of it and let Him change us. He could have just said we are hopeless and left us there to rot and be judged as apostate along with them, but thankfully God sees things much better and differently than our judgmental hearts do. He saw that with some help we could change. One of the reasons that God pulled many of us out of the normal religious denominational system was because it had become so rebellious, materialistic, and lax toward sin, but that does not mean that all of the people still there are unredeemable at all. God fully knows the hearts of people and that there are still many people there that love Him dearly but just need more time to make the change. Plus God has His own people still there to help out as well. I have served as a prophet to the remnant for many years now, and I help to pastor over a thousand people every day who are washing their robes right now, and I can tell you truly that many people are still having their spiritual eyes opened and making the transition from dead works, to being an obedient servant of Jesus. You see, that's what it's really all about, letting God change you, and then preaching the gospel in God's holiness, power, and love. Many times when we are inclined toward the prophetic, spiritually immature, and full of zeal for God, we can be very judgmental, condemning, legalistic, and basically just unloving toward anyone around that has more sin in their life than we do. This is caused by pride and rejection if our harsh message to repent or die is not fully received. But the more you get to know God and see His grace upon your life, the less quickly you will want to judge others. We must not be quick to just write off a big group of people because God sees the whole picture and the great fish of the Holy Spirit may come and swallow up our ministry until we are willing to go back and consider God's heart of mercy, redemption, and compassion towards others. So understand this, we serve a holy God that will indeed require holiness from His people, but allow Him to be the One to judge it all because He alone is qualified to. RO 2:2 Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? (We were once the very same people we now judge). The Spirit Of Persecution JN 15:20 Remember the words I spoke to you: `No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. We are about to see many people become empowered by God's Spirit to heal the sick, cast out evil spirits, and perform many signs, wonders, and miracles in order so that people will believe the message of the gospel and get saved. When this happens though, you can expect many so-called Christians to persecute those who operate under God's power because they are jealous and envious that it is not happening in their lives. You see, only the fully humble and those who are truly submitted to the moment by moment direction of the Holy Spirit will be empowered, all other rebellious pharisaical type Christians will not be empowered and through their pride and jealousy they will open themselves up to a wicked evil spirit known as the spirit of persecution. AC 5:12 The apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade. AC 5:17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. Miracles through God's fishermen, and persecution from the ultra-religious crowd always come simultaneously, so expect it to come from anyone around you who has a problem with spiritual pride or legalism. And I do mean anyone. It may come from your family or closest friends, so do not be surprised when it does. I even remember one time while I was ministering in Hollywood there was a mighty outpouring of God's Spirit during the meetings, and one morning we showed up there was a crowd of so-called Christians there with bull horns telling everyone not to go in to the meeting. One person in that crowd was a family member that I had ministered with for years. She was jealous that I no longer ministered with her so she joined in with the persecution. AC 5:14 Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. 15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. 16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed. The main thing to remember is that the harvest must be reaped during this time, so your job will just be to do whatever the Holy Spirit directs you to do regardless of who does or doesn't like it. It helps to stay away from the pharisaically minded and to band together with those who love the Holy Spirit and the works that He does. The choice is always yours as far as what you will, or will not allow in your life. You didn't go through all this wilderness for nothing, so press on and do whatever the Lord Jesus directs you to do. If you walk in good discernment you will always be able to work out what is, or is not from God, so keep being obedient if and when the spirit of persecution attacks. AC 18:9 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. 10 For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city." Tips For When You Get Blessed Financially LK 16:8 "The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. Below are just a few tips on how to handle a large financial blessing when it comes, because many people who have been diminished in their wilderness will soon be receiving God's blessing financially to be restored and to have more than enough to live and to give to others during their promised land time. God has probably already shown you some of these things to do if you are one of the people that will be assigned to manage His wealth during this coming harvest, but these are just guidelines, so be led by God as always in all you do. 1. Always remember that everything God gives you belongs to Him, not you. God's financial blessing is a very serious responsibility, and it's not just fun money to be used as you want. Freely you've received, so freely give as God directs you to and everything else will work out. 2. Keep things as private as possible. If God blesses you financially don't tell anyone else unless God expressly tells you to because once you tell even one person they will run to tell everyone else, and all of the sudden everyone will see you as a wallet, not as you anymore. 3. Give anonymously. If someone knows that a financial gift came from you then they will always look to you rather than God to meet their financial needs. Set up an anonymous charity bank account and P.O. box in order to give, and keep things as discreet as possible. 4. Don't loan money to people. Making loans to people is the quickest way to ruin a good relationship, so don't do it. Just give as God leads you to and do not expect anything back, and that way there are no problems or hard feelings later on when they can't pay you back. 5. Give God the glory and don't admit the giver was you. People will always be very naturally curious when God blesses them, so they may ask you point blank if the giver was you. Just say, "Well if God told someone to give, then it was God that helped you, so go thank Him". 6. Don't give unless God tells you to. There will be countless needs that you can meet, but only a few that God will tell you to. You are responsible to manage this money, not give it all away, so if God is not telling you to meet the need, then that means there is a reason for it. 7. Don't tithe on the money unless God tells you to. Remember that 100% of what God gives you belongs to Him, not just 10%, and even 10% of a very large sum can create big problems for a ministry or a person that God has been trying to restrict for various reasons. 8. Live within your means and do not be showy. If God allows you to be supported through the financial blessing He gives you, that is fine, but keep your life looking like you don't have a big ton of money, because people are very adept at noticing an over-extravagant lifestyle. 9. Stay in control of your money. Never let anyone else be in control of what God has only entrusted to you. This means everyone including family. Many people have been swindled by greedy people including Christians, so trust no one but God and whoever He tells you to. 10. Money is a tool, nothing more. Money can buy unhappiness and create many problems that you might otherwise not have. Money is a responsibility to manage and you alone will be held accountable for what you did with it later on, so always consider it as just a tool. 11. Don't fight about money. Families tend to have many problems if there is too little, or too much money to spend. Like Joseph, your financial blessing is meant to restore you and to give you a fund so that God can meet needs through you, it is not a fun fund for your family. 12. Buy only what you need. Everything you buy you will have to take care of and that takes time. Buy quality and only what the Holy Spirit tells you to. Never waste. The simpler your life can remain, the more time you will have for ministry, so avoid unnecessary purchases. LK 16:10 "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. There are some of you reading this who do not want a lot of money, and you like your life being kept simple and predictable, but who is God supposed to trust with wealth here on earth, if not though you? Greedy, wasteful, people? No, this task will fall to His trustworthy managers that have learned to be faithful with little. Some of you will help manage millions of dollars, and vast resources during this time of severe economic downturn. Desperate people will do anything to survive, so your job will just be to only give people what God tells you to. PR 10:22 The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. Money can either be a big blessing in your life, or big trouble, it's all up to you. God has worked with you during your wilderness time to purge you of all sin, greed, and idolatry, but it will still be a real challenge to manage money wisely. The main thing is to stay humble discreet, and directable by God. Always remember that your real riches will be spiritual, and rarely material. God has prepared many last days "Joseph's" to provide for many during this coming time of hardship in the earth, so be prepared to be greatly used to help save many. GE 45: 7 But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. Tribulation Homes Surviving Off The Grid REV 13:7 He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast-- all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. In the long years to come I believe that we will enter the time that is described above, but before this happens there will be a great revival that will soon begin and last for many years. But because this revival will also include some judgments of God, we will experience a great persecution against all true Christians. Many people will be being saved, and as the revival and persecution happens simultaneously, we will need homes of refuge for the new and old converts to live and to survive outside of the world's normal life systems. You may be asked by God to establish one of these homes of refuge and you have been feeling a pull this way. REV 13:16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. Many families will be forced to either become part of the new antichrist world government, or they will not be allowed to buy nor sell, and thus not be able to survive. But before all of this happens, God will set up many ministry homes in order to receive all of these people. In the years ahead you will see many people who have been prepared in the wilderness receive large amounts of finances in order to establish these divine places of refuge, and like Joseph preparing for the great famine in Egypt, so God will have many "Joseph's" in these last days to receive these homes at a good price, and then set them up to exist off of the world's grid. MT 24:37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. This time that is coming will be a time where we will survive and preserve life through the daily direction and discernment of the Holy Spirit. I believe these homes will become like modern day Noah's ark's intended to preserve life while everything else in the world is being thrown into turmoil. But like Noah we will be surviving only because God is telling us exactly what we need to do. It will take great heavenly wisdom to make all of the decisions that are coming because they will many times involve life or death situations. Noah did have a door on the ark, but you will notice that he didn't just let everyone in when all the flooding started. LK 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. During a time of persecution you have to be willing to do whatever the Holy Spirit tells you to do, and sometimes because of religious mindsets you may find it hard to make the tough decisions. God doesn't have a kingdom of silly wimps, He has a kingdom of loving but tough soldiers that obey His commands. Your job in these homes will be to give refuge to those God tells you to, help new converts to mature and maintain their faith, and to survive outside of the world's normal systems. Trust that God will bring you all the right people with the right skills, and just know that no matter what happens, Jesus Christ will be returning very soon. LK 21:27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. Truth or Consequences REV 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. We have entered a time in which God is requiring us all to walk in complete truth and obedience or we will soon face the consequences for continuing to walk in the lie and disobedience. We have spent many years in the wilderness where God has been showing us who He is and who we are, so that we can know the truth and turn away from all the lies we have been embracing. We have reached a spiritual threshold where we must walk fully in the truth or face certain rebukes and punishments from the Lord. AC 5:10 At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events. Nobody wants to have to be made the example to others for disobedience, but most of us know the story about Ananias and Sapphira and how they lied to God about how much they sold a property for and then were punished for it by death. Chances are this problem with dishonesty had been there for a while but was just never repented of. God has painstakingly shown us our weak areas so that we can repent now and thus escape His soon coming judgments later, but we must take God's dealings seriously. HEB 10:31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. JN 5:14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you. In the coming days and months we are going to see God making prime examples out of people who should have repented but didn't, but we are also going to see great examples of many who listened to God's promptings and repented before it was too late. Waiting to repent can be a huge gamble because judgment will always come sooner or later, especially with it being the end of the age right now. This is the most dangerous time in history to be practicing sin, and the best time in history to repent. Here are some of the judgments you may soon see happening to Christians who have refused to repent. They are listed in order of severity, but are not limited to this order: 1. God being silent, or loss of His sense of presence and blessing. 2. Punitive judgments like lack, sickness, or demonic harassment. 3. Exposure of your sin to everyone around you. 4. Being given over to your sin and the consequences of it. 5. Physical and and/or spiritual death. Now of course God's heart is that we repent in earnest, but usually we rationalize why we need our sin and we procrastinate and presume God's grace because if we didn't get punished that bad last time, maybe we won't again this time. Since this is a time of judgment for everyone this is a day for us all to take repentance very seriously and to be the example of obedience rather than disobedience to others. God will help you to repent so trust Him today and step into full obedience to everything He wants. DT 30:19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We Must Change Or Die Off JER 7:3 This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place. Sometimes in our lives and ministries we become just like the Pharisees in Jesus' day where we follow a certain pattern and a set of rules that progressively nullify God's real-time ability to lead and direct our lives and ministries. We start becoming self-assured, and self-important, and we do things without seeking God and things slowly get off course and start dying because we yanked ourselves too far away from the ministry life-giving tree Jesus. JAS 3:16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. Self-will and doing things only by the ministry numbers is like spiritual carbon monoxide because it slowly starts poisoning our hearts and ministries while we sit unaware until we become so weak and weary that we slowly start passing out and fainting because there is no spiritual oxygen left to breathe. When this happens we must rouse ourselves and shake each other until we get up and run out the door together into fresh air and new spiritual life. REV 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. We must become willing to allow God to completely dismantle our lives and ministries to the ground if necessary and start over. We need to get away from busy work for a while and just seek God while He brings new light into what needs to change in us. We must repent of all sin truly and permanently, and we must seek to be empowered by the Holy Spirit in order to heal the sick, cast out evil spirits, and go preach the gospel right where the sinners live. MT 3:8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. God will allow us to keep building under an old outdated ministry template if we fight Him on it long enough, and keep calling it all the devil. But if we will not change what God wants to change in our ministries make no mistake, they will die. We are not indispensable even though we might think we are and God can easily raise up others to take our place. I would encourage you today to stop everything and allow God to transform your life and ministry. 1CO 10:6 Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. There were many Israelites in the original wilderness that had great potential to do mighty things in the promised land, but they died out there because they were not willing to change under God's directions. Some would not trust God fully, and others would not repent from their sin and rebellion, so they all died off one by one. We can all spiritually flounder in our wilderness and ministries when we refuse to make the changes that God is requiring of us. 1CO 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. You might feel at first that you are losing a beautiful building that you worked so hard to build, but God's fire has a way of burning up anything in our lives and ministries that did not originate from His inspiration. Plus we never get credit in heaven for works of the flesh here on earth, they are all just a foolish waste of time. This is your day to stand up mighty warrior and to take your place in this final harvest, holy, empowered, obedient, and fully set in order. MT 24:44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. What The World Needs Now MT 24:12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. DA 12:10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. We are entering a time in mankinds history where because of judgments and an antichrist world government, many people will have a very hard time giving love to, or receiving love from others, so that is why we must start learning to love now even when everything around us tells us to protect ourselves and to just harden our hearts. And if ever this world will need God's love and light, it is when things become their most selfish and darkest in the earth. MT 5:46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 1CO 13:8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. There are many Christians that have gathered a lot of knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and developed giftings from God, but they have not yet learned to really love people. They are oversensitive to rejection and slights, harsh, unforgiving, and so they learn to guard their hearts to the point where they only love those who show them love back. Loving the hard to love is a real challenge because it takes God's love to love them, not just our fleshly love. JN 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. LK 17:32 Remember Lot's wife! 33 Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. Loving the hard to love will cost you your life in many ways, so you must make up your mind beforehand that you are not going to try to save your life in a conflict, even if you could. Love people and show mercy rather than judgment, and sow encouragement rather than criticism. People need the love of God and not the brutal legalism of man. Ask God for His love every day to love people with, and as you learn to die to all pride God's love will prevail. 1CO 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. EPH 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. When God Shows Up AC 5:12 The apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade. 13 No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. 14 Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. For all who have allowed God to prepare them in their wilderness, you are about to start seeing Him show up in a very big way like never before. You will pray for the sick and they will indeed be healed now, and God's power will manifest in your life everywhere you go. We are about to see Jesus do many very uncommon miracles, in some very common places. If you stand ready this day to go forward with God, and you have allowed Him to help you to wash your robe, then expect to be moving in the fullness of His power very soon. And like the disciples after Pentecost, your time will no longer be your own after this, and you will be sent on one glorious divine assignment after another. But expect some persecution as well. I remember one time when God really showed up at a meeting I was leading worship at. The Holy Spirit just took over and for several hours people just did whatever He moved them to do, it was a very amazing thing to behold. We just sat back and let God take over and do whatever He wanted because it was His meeting after that. Many great miracles took place. Don't be afraid to step out in faith no matter what the Holy Spirit tells you to do, because no matter what has, or has not happened in the past when you prayed, it can happen now and your faith will soar. God's heart is that as many people would be saved, healed, and delivered as possible, so get ready to be called into full time power duty in this final harvest. AC 5:15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. 16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed. Who They Gonna Call? REV 12:12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short." Since we are nearing the end of man's rule upon the earth we can expect to see all the stops pulled out and the spiritual ozone that has separated mankind from the spirit realm to be fully lifted. Spirits and humans will now be interacting much more directly during this last great harvest, so it will not be uncommon for people to receive regular assistance from angels, or to confront demons in a much more direct and overt way. One phenomenon we will likely see more and more of are people getting involved with demons through either knowingly or unknowingly playing around with the occult. When this happens evil spirits will invade people's bodies and homes in force, and the only way to get rid of these filthy vermin is through faith in the power of Jesus Christ. You cannot get rid of evil with evil, and only Jesus has the authority over all evil spirits. Silly as it was, the movie Ghosbusters could be a prophetic picture of what may be coming upon the earth. We have already seen a sharp rise in haunting's and people using psychics and paranormal teams to try to get rid of ghosts. Even the Catholic church will not be able to keep up with all the people that may need help. Plus there is usually so much red tape involved to get help, that many may not receive it in time. God may require you to go into peoples homes to help evict these nasty spirits, and also to lead them to salvation through Jesus Christ. This may be a very odd ministry, but also a very necessary one. Psychics actually just make people's situations worse and dead religion will not lead them to true salvation, so God will build teams of Spirit-filled prophetic people to join together to help people receive true and lasting freedom. I have had to live in a home with a so called "ghost", and believe me it is no fun. The Holy Spirit showed me how to get rid of this spirit, but I just got a little taste of what others have to suffer all the time. I believe there is a huge spiritual explosion coming where the flesh and spirit will be thrown together, so be willing to let God use you as a Christian Ghostbuster if that is what He wants to do, because who they gonna call? REV 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. 11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Why I Left The Pharisee Movement Although I fully agree that the Church is in a state of transition and reform, I have noticed that there has been a growing persecution that has been leveled at ministries that have experienced what would be considered an "outpouring of the Holy Spirit", or revival. At first I tried to be open spirited about it, but as I saw name after name being plastered up on a couple email lists like spiritual criminals, I started to get concerned. I have now seen many good men and women of God whom the Holy Spirit clearly supports, being mercilessly and maliciously attacked and verbally butchered by those with little or no real experience, relationship, or true exposure to these people or their ministries. There is never any of God's love in their words, only disdain, contempt, jealousy, envy, unrighteous judgment, spiritual pride, self-righteousness, and harsh condemnation. There has been a visible growing rift between what I would describe as the religious left (the Pharisees), and the power of the Holy Spirit endorsing right (the Fishermen). These experts with no real experience claim to be exposing false doctrine, when in fact they are actually attacking the Holy Spirit through those He chooses to flow through. They have no idea what the genuine looks like, because they get their discernment from biased books and and the local gossip mill. This civil war has been escalating to the point where the slander and ferocity of these attacks against what I believe to be our true brothers and sisters in Christ has been increasing and now we are approaching a time where we must either choose to denounce the works of the Holy Spirit experienced during revival, or be considered apostate. There will be no neutral ground left very soon my friend, because many of those who have successfully completed their wilderness preparation will in fact be empowered to heal the sick, cast out evil spirits, and preach the gospel with power. When this happens, we too will be added to the list of those considered to be lost and demonically overtaken. So either way, the choice is coming. Those who get passed by in this time of empowerment will become even more jealous, envious, and ravenous toward those who do get empowered because they will feel that they really should be the ones that God uses in power, and not these lowly fishermen that are just apostate anyway, and they will claim that God's works performed through us are just demons, and not the true Holy Spirit. Pharisees seem to always think they have all the answers, but the funny thing is, you never see any power in their lives, it's all just empty knowledge and false criticism toward anything they don't understand. The problem is, these people are full of bible knowledge, but lack true interaction and experience in the things of the Spirit, or in an actual outpouring so when something comes along that they cannot fit into their religious mindset and list of acceptable spiritual manifestations (which is a very short list), they will quickly denounce it as the occult. They will insult God and possibly blaspheme against the Holy Spirit in the process, and end up being disqualified for any real stewardship of God's resources. Most of the time, these ravenous critics are not even baptized in the Holy Spirit, and they denounce it. The difference between the ministries of John the Baptist, and Peter and John was the promotion of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, since it had not yet been given out in John's time, and although we are called to be forerunners to Jesus second coming, we are also called to promote the infilling and operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit to the lost so that people will see and experience the miracles He performs, and believe the message we are preaching. There is no true revival without the Holy Spirit, ever, and Jesus said that we would experience even greater manifestations of God's power and the Holy Spirit in these last days, some of which may be a bit difficult to understand at times, because it will be something new to us. The original outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost in the book of Acts must have seemed a bit odd and unorthodox to all those who witnessed it, but with proper discernment you can distinguish what is false, fleshly, or demonic, from something that is given by God's Spirit. Whenever there is an outpouring, whether it is experienced in a major gathering of believers, or whether it happens in the public arena, there will always be people that call it the work of Satan. Jesus ran into this kind of opposition all the time, and He warned the people to be careful about attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to the Devil. There will also always be manifestations of the flesh and demons during a revival that will try to distract and discredit the wonderful works of the Holy Spirit in our midst. There is no tidy revival, and our job is merely to manage and steward what the Holy Spirit wants to do in our midst, rather than trying to control everything to the point that we grieve the Spirit, and the outpouring dries up. I have been part of a number of outpourings both long and short, and sometimes I noticed that the leadership got nervous because of gossip and slander and put the brakes on what was happening, and the revival died right there, and nothing was ever the same in that fellowship after that. I have also seen brave faithful men and women of God allow God to have full control of their gatherings, and they did not shrink back because of cowardly Pharisaical verbal attacks against them. We have some today that claim to be experts on revival simply because they have studied revivals of old and think that God must do it the same way each time. They then denounce all physical manifestations that don't match up to their idea of revival, and call it all demonic. If you have ever actually experienced an outpouring, and seen the Holy Spirit touch and heal a human, it does affect their bodies in strange ways sometimes, but it is a beautiful thing to behold, and not a satanic counterfeit as some have claimed. There is some flesh and demons that do try to mock the Holy Spirit, but if you have any real discernment, you sense where it is coming from right away, and just deal with it. This will not be a pristine harvest field and many tares will come to sneak in and and cause trouble. The point is, that we have the Holy Spirit living in us to tell us the truth about what we are viewing. Pharisees seem to lack direct communication with the Holy Spirit, and tend to try to run things through their religious mindset and call that discernment, but it usually just ends up being carnal, mean, Spiritless, legalism. We live in a time where names are being named, and you will soon hear many reputable people that you have trusted in the past, denouncing legitimate works of God and calling it all the Devil, and you will have to decide for yourself where you stand. Are you with the Holy Spirit, or are you with the Pharisees? The choice is yours alone, but if you do side with the pharisees and denounce legitimate works of the Holy Spirit then expect to be passed by when He is looking for someone to flow through. He tends to take things personally. Do you care more about your pride and reputation, or about having something from God that can really help people? Will you be a friend to the Holy Spirit in this last move of God in the earth, or will you join those who persecute good men and women of God in the name of religion? Like I said, you alone must choose, but I choose to leave The Pharisee Movement, and allow the Lord to do whatever He wants through me to help this lost, hurting, broken, dying, and love-starved world. MT 15:12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?" 13 He replied, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit." MK 3:28 I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. 29 But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin." 30 He said this because they were saying, "He has an evil spirit." MT 12:30 "He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. AC 7:51 "You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit! 52 Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute? You will Soon Be Clothed in Power LK 24:49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high." For many of us as Christians, we have prayed for many people over the years for different things and we have seen God help some of these people, but we have longed to see God heal people and deliver them from evil spirits as we laid hands on them in much a greater way, and so God sent us into the Wilderness to prepare us to be more stable and responsible so that He could in fact flow through us in greater power to help those in need. The disciples had walked with Jesus for several years being prepared to walk in power, and so finally Jesus sent them out to preach the gospel in power and these were the instructions He gave them; MT 10:7 As you go, preach this message: `The kingdom of heaven is near.' 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9 Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts; 10 take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep. MT 10:11 "Whatever town or village you enter, search for some worthy person there and stay at his house until you leave. 12 As you enter the home, give it your greeting. 13 If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. 14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. 15 I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town. 16 I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. I believe that these guidelines and principles still apply to us today, and that we will soon be going to the streets, the malls, and many other public places preaching the gospel and having God demonstrate His power to heal and deliver so that people will believe and be saved. No matter how many people you have prayed for before where nothing happened, now you will lay hands on people and God will in fact heal and deliver them. God just needed to build a more stable, humble, and holy life in you first, so that He could flow through you without you falling or failing because of sin or pride. No matter how good your gifting is, God will only grant His power to people where Christ's character lives through them so that His power and message is not discredited by bad character or sin. Always remember, that as many people as you can help, will also be as many people as you can hurt. Here are the above guidelines in a nutshell; 1. Pray for everyone that God places in your path. With God's power comes great responsibility, so you are on His schedule and you must be willing to go and to do whatever He tells you to no matter how inconvenient it may seem, or how tired you may feel. Don't be choosy about who you will or won't pray for, if God sais to pray for them, then just pray for them. 2. Don't charge them money for what God does. There will be times that God will allow you to receive from others to help meet your needs, to meet the needs of others, or to do something that God wants to do, but you must not charge people for what God gives them through you. If they want to give an offering and God sais that it's ok to receive it, then that's fine, but otherwise just turn it down and tell them to thank God for what God did for them. Freely you have received, so freely give. 3. Don't take along a bunch of extra supplies and money when you travel for extra security. God will provide what you need as you just go forward and do the work, so just trust Him and do not let fear drive you to make back up provision for yourself. This may mean leaving your credit cards at home and just allowing the Lord to give you what you truly need while serving. God wants His ability, and goodness to receive the glory for all provision, not your Visa card. 4. If you travel, stay with people that God wants you to stay with where peace reigns in the home. If it is the right place then don't move around to other peoples homes. If God wants you to stay in a home then just stay there regardless of your preferences or how you feel about the people, and don't go to a hotel just because you think it would be more comfortable and easy. You never know what kind of ministry or hidden blessing awaits you in each home you stay in. 5. If the home or the town does not receive you, then just move on and leave them to themselves, God will deal with them later on. Try not to get all upset and rattled just because some people will reject you and refuse the ministry God wants to give to them through you. They are rejecting the Lord, not you (unless you are doing something inappropriate), so try not to take it personally or argue with them about it. Just ask the Lord what is next, and move on. You will have both good and bad reactions and experiences from different people while serving. 6. Be wise, careful, and discerning as you walk out what God wants to do, and stay clean from all sin and defilement. Be discerning and wise about what is really going on with people and in the spirit realm, but avoid being paranoid or overly suspicious over everything that happens. Stay away from practicing any secret sin while you are doing God's work especially. We must walk blameless because there will be even more "blamers" while you walking in God's power. Now, when you begin to walk in power, you can expect opposition to come and try to intimidate and discourage you. They will challenge, oppose, refute, slander, criticize, and gossip about everything they can, and these modern day pharisees will attack you just like they attacked Jesus and the disciples when they walked in God's power. But do not be afraid, God will be with you and you must stand your ground and not give up. Spend time with God every day and do not allow yourself to get so busy with ministry that you neglect recharging yourself spiritually and physically, even Jesus knew when it was time to take a break. MK 6: 31 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." 32 So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. People and spirits may try to flatter, attack, or bribe you when you are walking in God's power, but you must remember who you were without God's power and virtue flowing through you when you were being renovated during the Wilderness. Just agree with them that God is good and give all the glory to Jesus. God showed us who we were without His grace in the Wilderness so that we could walk in true humility once He moved through us in a greater way. This is all about helping them anyway, it's not about us. Trust God to deal with attackers when they attack. The disciples ran into these kinds of problems, and this is how they dealt with it. AC 14:8 In Lystra there sat a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked. 9 He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed 10 and called out, "Stand up on your feet!" At that, the man jumped up and began to walk. AC 14:11 When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, "The gods have come down to us in human form!" AC 14:14 But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting: 15 "Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. AC 13:6 They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus, 7 who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God. 8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith. 9 Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, 10 "You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? 11 Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be unable to see the light of the sun." Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. 12 When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord. AC 8:18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money 19 and said, "Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit." AC 8:20 Peter answered: "May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21 You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. These will be exciting, challenging, and very busy days ahead where we will see many new people come into the kingdom all at once. Prayer, worship, and reading and teaching the word will be our daily manna. Remember that new Christians still have alot of their flesh still intact, so it will take alot of patience and grace to walk with them. Share the load with others and don't try to be a spiritual Superman. Lead new believers to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit so that He can help them to grow and heal more effectively. He is the master Teacher and Counselor, teach them to hear His voice and to become more dependent upon Him. This harvest will be bigger than any other in history, and the opposition and warfare will be intense so we must draw upon God and each other for much needed strength and support. Get ready to be clothed with power and to go forward to conquer in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. AC 8:4 Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. 5 Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Christ there. 6 When the crowds heard Philip and saw the miraculous signs he did, they all paid close attention to what he said. 7 With shrieks, evil spirits came out of many, and many paralytics and cripples were healed. 8 So there was great joy in that city. Your Place in this World Most people that God has set aside for this new thing He is doing in the Earth, have spent a lifetime of baffling restriction and restraint from developing any real major purpose, or clear position or calling in life. Like nomads, they go through life, just doing what God puts in front of them, and they accept the fact that they may not be allowed to, complete a college degree, own big homes, have important titles, or attain a high rank or status in the big machine of life. You may feel like Cinderella, always getting the work without the reward, promotion, or credit, but like Cinderella, your character is just being prepared for a much greater future service. Like John the Baptist, you may do a lot of Wilderness time in practical training, rather than the elite schools of men. It is the University of the Holy Spirit, and it is the best training available. God only restricts the outside, so that He can develop the inside to do something far greater. The higher the building, the deeper the foundation needs to be. Rest assured, when God is satisfied with the inside, He will withhold no good thing from the outside. Like Joseph, and his time managing the resources of others on a small scale, God was secretly preparing him for something on a much larger scale. If you are wondering what your gifting or calling is, there are several ways of getting a good idea. First of all, what is it that you really like to do? What do you really enjoy doing that blesses others? Second, what has God already used you for in the past? Do you sing, preach, pray, counsel, prophesy, give, help others, or something else? Natural ability, experience, and God's spiritual support on a gifting, can give you a good clue. Third, who, or what do you feel a special burden for? What pulls, and touches your heart? Whatever God has shown you that He wants to do with your life, hang onto that no matter what. Though like Joseph, even as the vision tests you, don't let it go. Now, God may allow the vision to seemingly die just like He did with Moses and Joseph, but He does this so that we know deep down, all the way through, that it is 100% God, that is making things happen, and that it is His timing and direction that will guide us down the road to our destiny. He wants us to truly know, that apart from Him, we really can't do anything that will count. When your heart is full of love and compassion for others, there will be no more room for selfish ambition, or the other ugly attributes that poison and pollute our giftings and service. When we have Gods heart beating in us, we will do everything from right motives, and our labor will not feel so burdensome. We will work to be seen only of God, and not of men. Like Joseph and Moses, God has been subtly, and carefully reshaping your heart, and transforming it into His own. Our job right now, is just to cooperate with the direction of the Holy Spirit in His daily work of transformation and purification. You will find out your place and purpose in the world soon enough. Like Jesus said, the field is ripe, and the laborers are few. But God has been secretly preparing many mature laborers that can accomplish much, as they walk in unity and love for one another. God has heard the groanings of your soul to know your purpose, and He is the One that has placed all these desires within you to know. Jesus is the gentle Lord of the harvest, and He will show you your place, and you will be very satisfied in the job He gives you. Like the finest Masterpiece, God has really taken His time with you to do a complete and lasting work.
