Buyout Profile
Affiliates of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (“KKR”), Five Mile Capital Partners, LLC and Goldman Sachs Capital
Partners entered into an agreement to acquire Capmark on August 3, 2005. The transaction closed on March 23,
2006. Financial metrics for the buyout were as follows:

As of March 31, 2009, KKR PEI Investments, L.P. (the “Investment Partnership”) held the following investments (at
fair value) in Capmark:
• Private equity fund investment through the KKR Millennium Fund of nil
• Private equity co-investment of nil
The fair value of the Investment Partnership’s aggregate private equity investment in Capmark as a percentage of
the net assets of the Investment Partnership as of March 31, 2009 was 0.0%. The cost and the fair value of the
Investment Partnership’s aggregate private equity investment in Capmark were $154.8 million and nil, respectively,
as of March 31, 2009. KKR Private Equity Investors, L.P. makes its investments through the Investment
Partnership as its sole limited partner.
