Community College Student Essay Contest

“Global Education Today”
Win one of three $200 awards and read your winning essay during the Oklahoma Global Education Consortium Conference Oct. 1, 2009, Quartz Mountain State Park
•	 Essays should be approximately 500 words. •	 Topic must focus on global education in today’s society. •	 Essays must be typed, double-spaced, and have pages numbered. Include the title on both cover page and essay first page. No author’s name or identification on actual essay. •	 Because this is not a research paper, but based on the student’s own thoughts, ideas, and/or experiences, no works cited page is needed. •	 Judging is “blind.” Please place your name, college, classification (freshman or sophomore), instructor (optional), and permanent phone # and address where you can be reached, even during the summer, on the cover page only. •	 Deadline for entry submission: July 15, 2009 midnight.
