This is an exciting opportunity to work with the South Yorkshire Criminal Justice Board to explore and
implement new and innovative ways of working. As a Board we are committed to delivering an
effective, efficient and victim focused approach to criminal justice in South Yorkshire.

With South Yorkshire’s Chief Officers you will ensure we deliver on targets and indicators resulting
from Public Service Agreements and local priorities. Working at a strategic level, you will co-ordinate
the implementation of our delivery plans and associated change programmes, as well as the
development of partnerships with other agencies. You will also act as line manager to SYCJB support
roles and manage budgets and expenditures.

A consultative approach, relationship-building skills and an ability to challenge and negotiate at a high
level will be critical to this role. You will be expected to demonstrate substantial experience of
managing and delivering multi-agency projects/programmes within tight timescales. Excellent verbal
and written communication skills, and a capacity for critical thinking coupled with a focus on workable
solutions, will be essential requirements of this post for the successful candidate. Degree-qualified or
