Biographical Summary – I was born and raised on a family orchard in Southern California. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Animal Science. I spent several years working on my husband’s family dairy while attending Cal State Stanislaus taking the Accounting Classes needed for a CPA. My husband and I owned and operated a boarding, training, and lesson facility for World Class show horses. In 2006 I completed my MBA at Northern Arizona University and have been working for the City of Lathrop since September 2006. I became very interested in Project Management while taking classes for my MBA and in June of 2006 passed the CAPM exam. I have been the contract manager for a large computer software development project and am responsible for a $1.5 million budget. I am very selfmotivated and organized and know that I would do a good job as the Director of Finance. I am very interested in becoming active in the WiPM SIG. Management Analyst for the Community Development Department – I develop and manage a $1.5 million budget, manage large contracts with outside consultants, am project manager for a large software installation for the building, planning, and code departments. I support management completing any research requested. I am the grant manager for several large government grants. I have developed and presented training classes for the Microsoft Office Suite.
