Mark Munoz Joe Cirruzzo Scott Solombrino

According to the NLA Bylaws, operator members may serve two
consecutive terms on the Board of Directors, but must take at least a
one-year hiatus before running for office again.
Given this, current NLA Southeast Region director Ron Sorci
(Aventura Worldwide Transportation, Miami, Fla.) and West Region
director Barbara Curtis (Two Step Limousine, Littleton, Colo.) may
not seek reelection at this time. Both will complete their second
consecutive three-year term in February 2011.
Four incumbents, namely current NLA Central Region director
Sue Jarvis (Aristocat Transportation, Warren, Mich.), Northeast
Region director Joe Cirruzzo Sr. (A Elegant Int. Limo, Staten Island,
N.Y.), At Large director Mark Munoz (BostonCoach, Boston, Mass.)
and At Large director Scott Solombrino (Dav El Chauffeured Trans-
portation Network, Chelsea, Mass.), are eligible to seek office once
again. None of the four has announced if he/she plans to exercise
the option of pursuing office at press time. Should he decide to run,
Cirruzzo will recuse himself from the Nominating Committee and
another current NLA board member will be chosen to replace him. reservations@dpvtransportation.com

2011 APPLICATION FOR NOMINATION TO THE NLA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
According to NLA policy and bylaws (Article 5, Section G and Article 3, Section A), all prospective directors must meet the following criteria:
The individual must be a corporate officer in a Regular Active Member that has been a Regular Active Member for at least two years.
Any Regular Active Member sharing common ownership with another Regular Active Member can only have one representative on the NLA
Board of Directors at one time.
A member of the NLA Board of Directors shall not be a member of another board of directors that is competitive to the NLA or the limousine
industry, specifically the Taxi, Limousine & Paratransit Association, United Motorcoach Association and American Limousine Association.
A Regular Active Member is a limousine business that has control of one or more vehicles and meets all applicable licensing and regulatory
requirements in which vehicles owned or operated are offered on a prearranged basis to the public for hire and travel over irregular routes.
Membership dues must be current for the Regular Active Member.
The individual must be able to devote the required time and be able to pay the travel/related expenses (that are not reimbursed by the NLA) to
attend board meetings. The board meets on a monthly basis, either via conference calls (8) or face-to-face meetings (4). Per the bylaws, any
director who fails to attend two (2) regular meetings due to an unexcused absence may be removed from office by a majority vote of the
directors. Additionally, board members are requested to support fundraising efforts for the NLA PAC and the Harold Berkman Memorial Fund.
