									Rowville is a suburb in Melbourne which local government area is the City of Knox. At the 2006 Census, Rowville had a population of
34,412.Rowville is a heavily car-dependent community, with most families having at least two cars. 70% of residents drive cars to work. I have

used Bogota, Columbia as my case study, and researched its transport system in particular, which is what propelled Bogota into a sustainable
city, from a car-dependant city. I have chosen Rowville because it is highly car-dependant too, and believe that it possesses potential to
contain a sustainable community in 2030, not just in terms of transport, but also in connnectivity, water, waste, and energy management.
