					What is Fringe Central?

If you are a Fringe participant, a member of the press or media, or an arts
industry professional, then Fringe Central, our centrally-located Participants’
Centre is your home away from home, a hub created exclusively for you.

Entry to Fringe Central is free for all registered Fringe companies as well as media
and arts industry. Passes can be collected at the centre from Monday 2nd August.

What’s available in Fringe Central?

Fringe Central Spaces available for hire:

      Rehearsal Room (carpeted): Capacity 35 – 50 m2 – £20/hour
      Meeting Room: Capacity 35 – 35 m2 – £23/hour
      Balcony Area: Capacity 150 – 144 m2 – £25/hour or £150/day
      Concourse Area: Capacity 150 – 180 m2 – £45/hour or £275/day
      Lecture Theatre 1: Capacity 150 – 160 m2 – £45/hour or £275/day
      Lecture Theatre 2: Capacity 150 – 160 m2 – £45/hour or £275/day
      Lecture Theatre 3: Capacity 150 – 160 m2 – £45/hour or £275/day
      Lecture Theatre 4: Capacity 300 – 240 m2 – £55/hour or £325/day


   NOTE: There is a 2-hour minimum booking for each Fringe Central space.

      Support and advice on all issues including marketing and media campaigns
       and how to make best use of the development opportunities on the Fringe
      Networking opportunities, workshops, talks and events
      Café and bar
      Internet access (there is a £2 charge for log-in which lasts the month)
      Free Wi-fi
      Photocopying and Printing (nominal fee applies)
      Participants’ Discount Scheme – Fringe Central passes entitle you to
       access our Participants Discount Scheme including offers from various
       businesses around Edinburgh.

How do I book my event in Fringe Central?

Send an enquiry to fringecentral@edfringe.com with your requested date(s),
hour(s), capacity requirements and contact details (email/phone). We will
respond to your email as quickly as possible to discuss and confirm availability.

NOTE: it may also be possible to book events outwith Fringe Central’s opening
hours subject to negotiation. Please send details to fringecentral@edfringe.com.

Why should I book my event in Fringe Central?

As the Participants’ Centre during the festival, Fringe Central will be buzzing with
activity through August and with up to 20,000 performers, press and promoters
coming through the door – it will be the perfect place to get people to your event.
