Working out on the treadmil?!?

Im 5'9 and about 208, im female, i recently just bought a treadmil, how many calories should i attemp to loose a day,?!?! .I would like to loose 20 lbs in the next
month.!

300-400 to start with.and try to do it in under 30 minutes.

20 lbs in a month is a pretty high goal. I lost 10 lbs when I first bought my treadmill and hit a plateau. So, my Dr told me to run 3.5 miles with a 10-minute mile
(6mph) everyday to see a dramatic weight loss. I've been doing that for a week now and lost 1 lb.
