In his position, Ertel is responsible for business process improvement, business process management, and process governance. Prior to joining EMBARQ, Ertel held a number of leadership roles at General Electric, most recently leading Six Sigma initiatives as Master Black Belt in GE Insurance Solutions. Ertel holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hanover College and a Masters of Business Administration from Regis University.
