They can also be monetized by advertising revenue and of course affiliate programs of similar products they are selling. It is not a new form of business, but the Internet has really taken MLM programs to a whole new level. Some people believe that MLM programs are illegal, which is NOT true, although some foreign countries do not allow the activity of a MLM in their country. In the United States, MLM is a perfectly legal form of business. People commonly mistake this form of business as pyramid schemes. Yes, they have the similar pyramid structure, but there is a difference, which is why MLM is a legal form of business. In a pyramid scheme, people are paid by getting new members to join the scheme. What makes these illegal is that the individuals are paid for recruiting and recruiting only. There are no products involved, which means, the top dogs will make all the money, and the low people on the down line, won't stand a chance to make a dime. Yes, you can get paid to take surveys. The one problem that is really common is people expect these programs to be simple, and really they are, but they are boring, and if you do enough of them it seems monotonous, which is why there is a lot of people who do not like this method of working online, well, because it's work. Paid to do surveys is kind of like your day job. You know exactly what you will earn if you complete the survey, just like you know your wage at work. You don't complete the survey, you don't get paid, it's that simple. What really throws off people is that when they take their first survey, they soon realize that these programs were not exactly what they thought they would be. These sites have been known to collapse because they don't properly set up the program correctly and end up owing more than they earn from advertisers purchasing the traffic from them and tend to rely on membership upgrades and referral purchases to cover the difference, which ends up not being enough to pay their members. Even though there is a risk, these programs should not be over looked... With this tarnished history there are a few Paid to Click websites that are fighting to change the view toward Paid to Click websites. Adverbux and Bux.to are two of those trying to change the landscape. Bux.to is the formal leader at this point in time and now in just over a year of existence, has over 12 million members worldwide. In there short existence they have paid out over 2 million dollars to their members and have become a very profitable company. They essentially pay over 6000 people each week. They have not taken the same old route of past Paid to Click programs and have expanded their programs, investments, and created valuable serviceable websites to increase the total revenue that Bux brings in, thus creating a stable and successful Paid to Click Program to this point. This would not be the case if they were still using Paypal, but Paypal decided that they no longer wanted to deal with the overload of payments that Paid to click sites like Bux make per day and separated their selves from most Paid to Click websites. Part of this may have been because of the over all conception about Paid to Click websites and that it took a lot of their staff members to keep up with the high number of payments that were being made through the payment processor daily. Really, I don't understand Paypal's thinking, but it is what it is.... The penny you earn is paid by the advertisers site you viewed for a total of thirty seconds. It may seem that it would be pretty useless if you were just counting on what YOU earn on this program, only earning a penny a visit, but the trick to Paid to Click websites is getting people to join under you. For every website they view, you get a penny or a half a penny. The more people you got under you, the more you will earn. The beauty of Paid to Click websites are that you can essentially cheat and purchase referrals to be put under you. You can purchase packages of just 15 people all the way up to 500 members. The only problem is there is a risk you could get a lot of lame ducks who don't click, thus not earning you money. Most of these sites do not insure that your purchased members will be clickers, unless you buy the top end packages, but they will only replace inactive members with active members, but yet again you are at the mercy of those below you. If they don't click, you don't earn money. It's a risk, but one that may pay off. Yes, I do participate and are a member of a few of these paid to click programs, only because I was willing to take a risk that has paid off so far. Most importantly, these people are willing to pay, granted until you prove yourself in the industry and build a respectable background, the big money won't be present in your first months of beginning a freelance career. It kind of sounds like a broken record doesn't it? Seems like every thing you do in life, you have to start at the bottom and work your way up, just like your job, did you start out with the wage you earn now? Wholesalers are the place to go for you to purchase goods at wholesale prices by purchasing in bulks. There is a downfall to this though. You have to store the product and if you don't sell the products, your stuck with them. Drop shipping- A method that may be more suitable than buying in bulk for most, although your profits will be minimal per sale if you are a newbie to this. Just like anything else you have to prove yourself in order for you to receive a higher profit margin per sale. The benefits for drop shipping is that you don't have to store any products, you don't even have to purchase it before you sell it, (Although I would recommend you have in your personal possession at least one item of what you are selling to protect from sold out merchandise being bought on eBay.) And you don't have to ship it. These companies will take care of all the shipping processes and ship the product to your customer. All you do is make the sale, send the drop shipper their cut and the address of the buyer, and your done. (Always research your drop shippers before doing business with them.
