We are excited to announce the 26th Annual Christ Church Preschool and ELP Gala! The Gala will be Friday, February 25, 2011
at the Christ Church Contemporary Worship center. This year, along with great food and an open wine/beer bar, we will have a
wonderful local Ponte Vedra Band for dancing and entertainment. With this year's event theme being “The Black and White
Gala”, we invite all to dress in dressy casual black and white attire. We have exciting auction items this year which include “the
teacher experiences”, class room baskets and many other great items you won’t want to miss out on. We will also be showcasing
for purchase at the Gala, beautiful, black and white Jennifer Grissom photographs of your children.

Our committee is busy planning an exciting evening that celebrates our love and support of this wonderful school. Our fund
raising goal this year is $40,000. Our school needs these funds to purchase new playground equipment, a sun covering for the
ELP playground and many classroom enhancements. We hope you will join us in making this year’s Gala a huge success!

to ensure you receive these seats in your sponsorship. Additional information about sponsorships will be coming home in your

                                               DID YOU KNOW…?
 Your Preschool is part of the greater Christ Church and there are many programs and activities available to parents and
 preschoolers, whether you attend church at Christ Church or elsewhere.

 1) Christ Church Family Connections is hosting a Holy Cow BBQ Cook-Off on Sat. Nov. 13th at the San Juan
 campus (parking deck) and is a family event, kids invited. Contact Kristi Koerner for more info at

 2) Christ Episcopal Church's Nutcracker Tea will be held Sunday, Nov 14, 4-6pm at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
 Conference Center, to celebrate the many talents in the dance ministry and to raise money for Dreams Come True. Feast
 upon tea, hot chocolate, punch and assorted sweets as cast members of this year's Nutcracker ballet treat you to samples
 of the show. Contact Claire Duffy at 923-0604 or for ticket information. Cost is $16 for ages 12 and
 under, and $18 for others. Seating is limited.

 3) Thanksgiving Eve Worship. We invite you to gather together at our Thanksgiving Eve worship service at 7pm on
 Wed., Nov 24th. Bring your family, bring your friends.

 4) Advent Wreath Creations, Sun, Nov 28th, in the Church Courtyard between morning services. Bring your whole
 family and start a new advent tradition.

 5) Wednesday Night Family Dinner in the Parish Hall with Santa at 6pm, Wed, Dec. 8th. Please see the New and
 Noteworthy Section for more information

 6) Christ Church Nutcracker, will soon be raising the curtain for its 15th annual production. Once again our wonderful
 dancers will be dancing to support local children with life threatening illnesses through “Dreams Come True”, Pediatric
 Hospice, and Amistad, a Bolivian orphanage. This year’s production will have almost 300 talented performers ranging in
 age from 2 ½ to 90 years old. December 18th at 6:00 pm, Lazarra Theater at UNF.
