Can I turn an animated gif into a screensaver for my Mac?

Is this possible?

Best answer

Nope. Screensavers are using the extension *.scr and your GIF image is not in that format. Same holds for the PC. Try http://Magnetic.com/ which is free and
allows use of your own images. Ron
