VISIT OF THE RELICS OF SAINT THÉRÈSE to the Carmelite Monastery at Kirk Edge, High Bradfield, Sheffield S6 6LJ on October 5th from 12 noon to 3 pm. The Relics will be placed on the altar in the chapel. Coaches will drop people off outside the grounds. People will walk up the drive, directed by stewards, in an atmosphere of prayer led by the sisters from within the chapel, and broadcast on a public address system adequate to cover the grounds. Pilgrims will file into the chapel to pass close to the casket containing the relics, and continue on out into the grounds, where they may stay for 15 to 20 minutes, joining in with the ongoing prayers. Each coach group should stay together, and leave the site by the appointed time to make room for others. It is envisaged that 4 coaches will arrive every 15 minutes. Along with High Green and St. Vincent’s, St. Francis Parish has been assigned the time of 12 noon for arrival. Fr Kevin LITTLE FISHES for the under 5’s will be on the third Monday of each month in school term-time at 1.45pm. REFLECTION Before the Blessed Sacrament Outside the church the noisy traffic flows past. People rush hither and thither. But I have left that world behind and I am here before you, Lord. I do not exclude my brothers and sisters. I bring them with me, for I know they are equally dear to you. I have nothing. Yet I know that because I have you, I have everything. I close my mind and open my heart, and so I am at peace. Here I experience my true worth, which consists, not in my possessions or achievements, but in knowing that I am loved by You.
