Holiday in Majorca
Ben Cadwalleder has had a lovely holiday in Majorca. He spent most of his time by the pool and relaxing on the beach, but he could not wait to come back to school. After our summer holidays our friends from Junior 6 have joined us in the senior school. They are now Senior 1. We have a new music and welsh teacher, her name is Miss Rolls. During activities week we went to Dolygaer and we did canoeing, swimming, bowling, gorge walking, caving . Ben and Jonathan went fishing. They caught lots of Carp and Tench fish, but no chips. The BBQ was very nice, it was a great way to end our term.

As part of our project “We Are Communicating Culture”, 3 pupils and 3 staff visited Crete to work with pupils and staff from other partnerships in the project, such as Sweden, France, Lithuania and Czech Republic. We had many exciting experiences: making and eating Greek foods, making ceramics, Greek dancing and visiting cultural sites in Rethymnon with friends. Everybody had a wonderful time and we look forward to entertaining our partner schools for 4 days next May when they visit Greenfield School. Mrs JD Lloyd, International Coordinator.
The British Council of Wales has invited Mrs Jackie Lloyd to speak to over 30 schools on Thursday 27th November at the Newport Teachers Centre about the various international projects she has overseen.
