International EXIT in Murfreesboro party at end of Team contest As is becoming tradition at the EXIT Realty Bob Lamb and Associates office the summer team contest ended with a barbeque and a celebration. The office was split into two teams (Team Teal and Team Burgundy) and they earned points for a multitude of things like sales, attendance to meetings, caravans, etc. The contest lasted about a month and the office was a buzz with the competition all month. The team that finished in second place washed cars for the winners at the start of the celebration. Vendor sponsors provided cash and prizes for all for the agents in the office to share in in a fun game after the barbeque was enjoyed. What does this mean for our agents and our broker owners? It means that $3,000,000 has been paid out to agents for work done once and rewards that keep on coming. The residual bonuses are paid out of the Exit Realty Corporate office and are on top of the agent commission structure. The residual bonus is the equivalent of 10% of the gross commission of any agent that you introduced into EXIT Realty anywhere. Thus a typical $200,000 real estate closing that yields a $6000 gross commission would have a residual bonus of $600 paid out to the agent responsible for introducing the closing agent to EXIT Realty. The best part is that this is not a temporary recruiting bonus nor does it affect the closing agent’s commission income. The residual bonuses continue at an amount equivalent to 10% of the gross commission until $10,000 per year has been reached. But it is better than that as it also continues year after year into retirement at 7% and passed along to your beneficiary at 5%. Each EXIT associate can introduce as many agents to EXIT Realty as they desire and each sponsored agent could add as much as $10,000 per year to their income. But wait you say, “I get leads on those email addresses and I know how to use those services, I can’t leave that!” Well what does it say about YOU when a client sees that you do not have a professional email service? You are less than a professional, You don’t take this career seriously, or this is a part-time job. This can be corrected and it doesn’t require change on your behalf, a lot of money, nor a lot of tech skills. SOLUTION: • Buy/Register a domain name of your choice. (I recommend GoDaddy.com for this). Use your name or your slogan or a combination of these. Examples: www.MikeGrumbles.com , www.MikeSellsFranklin.com, www.YourFranklinREALTOR.com, etc. You get the idea! - This will cost you about $10 per year to register and renew. • GoDaddy provides that each domain name you register has Email Forwarding with the domain. Activate the Email Forwarding (about $3 per year unless free credits available) and you can choose the email address name and then activate the forwarding to your email of choice like your current Gmail or Yahoo email account. Examples: Mike@MikeGrumbles, REALTOR@MikeGrumbles, Mike@YourFranklinREALTOR.com, SOLD@YourFranklinREALTOR.com, etc. I suggest that you can have more than one and they all forward to the same inbox at Yahoo, AOL, or Gmail. • Convert the links on your website, social media, business cards, etc to one of the new email addresses that you have created. So for about $13 a year and a few moments to setup the system, you can have a professional custom email address, that says who you are and that you should be their next and only choice for a REALTOR.
