How to play:
Write the Units 4 and 5 Basic Words on the board. Distribute Bingo Cards, and have children copy one word into each blank square. Encourage them to write the words they choose in random order so that each child’s card is different. 1. Have children place their Bingo Cards on their desks and cover the free squares with beans. 2. The caller calls out a word from the board and then crosses it off. 3. Children find the word on their Bingo Cards and cover it with a bean. 4. The game continues until one child has Bingo—four beans in a row in any direction. Have the child shout, “Bingo!,” then read and spell the words that form Bingo on his or her card.
