Introduction Thank you for your participation in our 2009 Budget, Spend, and Staff survey. Investor Relations Roundtable members express a critical need for clear and actionable budget and staff benchmarks to inform intelligent resource allocation. To address these difficulties, the Investor Relations Roundtable is pleased to offer our annual Budget, Spend, and Staff benchmarking service free of charge to all members. We have designed the 2009 survey to capture the most relevant metrics while being mindful of the time dedicated to completing a survey. What You Need to Complete this Survey Your department’s 2008 and 2009 budget information. Approximately 20 minutes of your time to complete the entire survey. Note about Confidentiality By participating in this study, I understand that the responses for my company will be used to generate benchmarks for the data collected. All data will be aggregated before being made available to all members of the Investor Relations Roundtable. The Investor Relations Roundtable will take reasonable steps to ensure that my company’s data will remain confidential and anonymous, and will not disclose my company’s individual response in this study to any parties outside my company or the Corporate Executive Board without consent. I further understand that the Investor Relations Roundtable will take reasonable steps to ensure that information provided is relevant, accurate, complete, and current to its intended use. In addition, the Investor Relations Roundtable will take reasonable steps to permit individuals to correct, amend, or delete information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete. Should I desire to review or update information, I can do so by contacting David Lee (dlee@executiveboard.com). Many of the companies who participated in last year’s survey requested to know the names of the other companies who participated. To this end, please check one of the following choices below. Please note that only companies that agree to share their name will be privy to the participant list. (Recommended) I am willing to share my name as a participant and receive access to a participant list, understanding that the Roundtable will take utmost care to never attribute my company’s specific data to my company’s name.
