We are pleased that you are sailing with Norwegian Cruise Line. Join us as we sail to explore ports rich in history and culture, and venture beyond to
some exotic, less traveled destinations. This document describes some of the optional excursions available in each port of call. To help you plan ahead,
we’ve included detailed information about tours organized on your behalf. NCL's organized Shore Excursion program offers you the opportunity to
sample the colorful culture and see the most dramatic scenery in each port of call. Pre-arranged sightseeing saves valuable time in port and helps
ensure you receive the best services available.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Why should I book an organized Shore Excursion?
There are a number of advantages to booking a Shore Excursion organized by Norwegian Cruise Line, including:

Satisfaction
We carefully monitor Shore Excursion programs to ensure we are offering the best tours available and meeting the diverse needs and interests of our
guests. We use only reputable and licensed independent tour operators.
Convenience
Our organized tours maximize your time ashore and eliminate the need for time-consuming, last minute arrangements in port.
Service
We have a professional and knowledgeable Shore Excursion staff onboard, available to help you expertly plan your time ashore.
Safety
We have developed Shore Excursion programs with primary consideration for your safety and security.
Value
We review our tours continuously to ensure they are of the highest quality and that prices remain competitive.

How does the Shore Excursion program work?
Shore Excursions may be reserved in advance. A request form is provided with this document so that you may finalize your plans well in advance of
your cruise. This form must be received by NCL no later than two weeks prior to your sailing date. Do not send payment! Orders will be processed and
billed to your onboard account. Shore Excursions are also available for purchase on board. Early in the cruise, the Shore Excursion Manager will present
the most up-to-date information on ports and tours. Pick up a Shore Excursion order form at the Shore Excursion Desk. Return the completed form to
the Shore Excursion Desk or Drop Box as soon as possible since all requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchases will be billed
to your onboard account. Tickets will be delivered to your stateroom.

Are there any restrictions?
An adult must accompany participants under the age of 18 on all tours. There is no charge for children under the age of 2 who do not occupy a separate
seat on a motorcoach tour. Some tours have additional restrictions implemented for your safety. These may include age, weight, height and/or medical
history related restrictions. Please refer to the individual tour description for any restrictions or consult with the Shore Excursion Desk on board.

Should I tip the guide/driver?
Tipping is strictly optional; however, most tour guides and drivers expect and appreciate a modest gratuity. A commonly accepted guideline is $1 per
person for a half-day tour and $2 per person for a full-day tour. If food and/or beverages are not included as a part of your tour, an additional gratuity for
these services is appropriate.

What type of clothing should I wear?
We suggest you wear comfortable walking shoes or sneakers and dress in warm, layered clothing. Due to unpredictable weather, it is also advisable to
bring along a sweater, windbreaker and/or rain gear, and bring sun protection for tours involving outdoor activities. All tours operate rain or shine! Do not
forget your camera and plenty of film!

What tours are recommended for families?
All tours are suitable for families. For a more affordable family experience, many tours offer lower prices for children. Some tours have additional age
restrictions implemented for your safety. Please refer to the individual tour description for any additional restrictions or consult with the Shore Excursion
Desk on board.

Will I see wildlife?
Many designated tours take you to the most prominent locations for wildlife viewing. However, sightings cannot be guaranteed unless otherwise noted in
the individual tour description.

Will we miss meals?
With Freestyle Cruising, you don’t have to worry about missing a meal. Dining rooms offer open seating, and are open from 5:30pm-midnight every
evening.

What if we miss the ship?
NCL does not leave port until all organized tours have returned to the ship. If you leave an organized tour however, or make tour arrangements on your
own, please keep the time in mind and return to the ship at least 30 minutes before sailing.

Refunds and Cancellation Fees
All tours cancelled within 48 hours prior to arrival in the port where the tour is scheduled to operate are non-refundable.
Certain tours, such as overland tours, flightseeing tours, customized tours and tours with theater performances or special events may be subject to
different cancellation fees. Check with the Shore Excursion Desk for details.

Tour descriptions, durations and departure times
The tour descriptions are as current and accurate as possible considering that this information is put together several months prior to your cruise. Please
note that occasionally changes in the description do occur. Any significant changes will be noted on the NCL website. Some tours will operate in an
order that is different from that presented in this document. This helps to alleviate crowding at local venues. The information in this document is designed
to help you select the excursions most suited to your interests. The individual tour descriptions include approximate durations and can be found under
each tour name. Please note that departure times are subject to change. Please check with this NCL website for the most current descriptions.

Insurance
The duties and liabilities of a particular tour operator and the scope and extent of the operator’s insurance coverage may vary widely, depending upon
the country’s laws and customs. Because of this, many travel professionals advise their clients to strongly consider purchasing cancellation insurance
and a short-term personal health and accident policy from a reputable insurance company before leaving home.

Personal Possessions
Personal articles including cameras, handbags, umbrellas, etc. are the guest’s responsibility. NCL does not assume responsibility or liability for any item,
or for personal effects, lost or damaged during any Shore Excursion or activity undertaken on behalf of the guest.

Tour Operators
Tour operators have the right to require any individual to withdraw from a tour at any time if they deem the individual’s conduct detrimental to or
incompatible with the interests, comfort, well-being or harmony of the group as a whole. Tour operators reserve the right to alter or adjust itineraries to
meet local conditions for participant safety and convenience. Neither NCL nor local tour operators can extend financial reimbursement to compensate for
a participant’s disappointment in the event circumstances beyond the reasonable control of NCL or the tour operator make it impossible to provide
services as intended.

Transportation
The best available local transportation is utilized in every port of call. However, guests should recognize that quality standards vary considerably
throughout the world. Cars, vans or taxis are often used in ports where coach transport is limited. Air conditioned vehicles are utilized where available.

Physically Challenged Guests
While NCL strives to make its Shore Excursion program available to all its guests, inherent tour venue limitations and/or tour operator limitations exist
that are beyond NCL's control that limit the ability of guests with special needs to participate in certain Shore Excursions. We urge such guests to advise
the Shore Excursion department of special needs when pre-booking tours and to further meet with the Shore Excursion Manager on board to discuss
their special needs as they relate with the unique characteristics of each Shore Excursion. We typically recommend independent transportation for the
comfort and convenience of guests with special needs. Wheelchair access may be limited – for details please consult with your Shore Excursion staff
before booking.

point near Las Brisas Hotel, marvel at the incredible beauty of the panoramic landscape. Next, continue to the outskirts of town, where you will pass by
one of two impressive hotels, located in the exclusive Acapulco Diamante hotel zone, the Acapulco Princess Hotel, constructed to resemble an Aztec

the Hollywood gang due to the many movie stars of the 50s used to spend their holidays here. Next, visit the Acapulco Historical Museum located inside
the Fort of San Diego. The present structure was rebuilt on the ruins of the former fort, which was destroyed in an earthquake. Then you will pass by the
International Convention Center with its attractive gardens and visit the Ecumenical Chapel of Peace, overlooking the Acapulco Bay. A short stop will

Take a scenic ride in a van to the jet boat station next to Playa Revolcadero. There you will board one of the unique propane-powered, environmentally friendly
jet boats. The jet engine pushes approximately 74 gallons of water per second out the back, giving the boat a top speed of around 47 miles per hour. These jet
boats can perform some fancy and exciting maneuvers, like 360-degree spins, which your driver will be as thrilled to demonstrate as you will be to experience
them. This tour is like a James-Bond-boat-race meets Marlon-Perkins-explores-the-jungle. In fact, the jungle in question here is the incredible Puerto Marques
tropical lagoon, where the first Tarzan movies starring Johnny Weissmuller were filmed. There is no better way to explore this steamy jungle than by gliding
smoothly along the waterways that lace the area. You will get very close to the tropical vegetation and diverse, abundant wildlife that inhabit the mangroves,
which reach a height of 30 feet and are regarded as the tallest in the world. Within less than 20 minutes you will be right under the canopy, in the heart of the
jungle. You must wear a life vest and will probably experience some water jet spray. The total time on the jet boat is 25-30 minutes, and afterwards you will be
whisked back to your ship.
Note: This tour is not recommended for pregnant women or guests with back or neck problems or a heart condition. You must be able to negotiate some

will have four hours of fishing time before returning to the beach, where you will disembark at the restaurant and the chef will prepare your catch with
some fresh vegetables and rice. On the off chance that you do not catch anything, the restaurant will provide the fish (and not tell a soul). There you’ll
have about an hour-and-a-half to relax and relive the day’s adventure while you enjoy dining on your fresh fish.
Note: We recommend that you wear your swimsuit and bring a towel.

ENDANGERED BABY SEA TURTLES & CITY DRIVE ACA-114
Approximate Duration: 4 hours
This is a special experience for the young and old alike. You will first drive through downtown Acapulco, heading south down the coast on a scenic ride
while your guide mentions the points of interest along the way. About 20 miles away from the hustle and bustle of Acapulco is the Sea Turtle Rescue
Center, located right on a very lovely and tranquil beach. Operated by a local environmentalist, the center works hard to improve the chances of survival
for this endangered species of Golfina sea turtles. You will see the baby turtles in various stages of development, from their eggs to the tanks holding the
hatchlings that are ready to return to the sea. Walk down to the shoreline where the turtles will be named before they are released into the wild. It usually
takes about 25 minutes (time varies depending on the level of the tide) for the little turtles to scurry down into the surf and swim away. This program is
protecting the turtles from different predators that they face as eggs and as hatchlings on the land and you will feel gratified to know that you helped your
turtle’s chances of survival and reaching maturity by threefold.
Note: The number of turtles that are ready for release may not always match the number of participants.

PANORAMIC VIEWS & ANCIENT PETROGLYPHS ACA-115
Approximate Duration: 3 1/2 hours Level 3
Visit the ancient stone carvings and see a spectacular view of Acapulco Bay. Begin with an informational drive to your destination, Palma Sola, known
as “Where the Rock Speaks.” This archeological site is located within the Veladero National Park, more than 1,000 feet above sea level, and overlooks
Acapulco Bay. Stone steps lead you up the mountainside through lush vegetation to view the 2,000-year-old petroglyphs, or stone carvings left by the
Yope Indians, the area’s first inhabitants. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a typical market to shop for souvenirs. After the tour, enjoy a cold beverage
and snack at a local beach-front restaurant.
Note: Comfortable walking shoes are recommended – no heels or flip flops please. There is a very physical, steep, stair climbing involved (400 steps).
The walkways are constructed of concrete, rock and natural stones. Steps are not level, very uneven and can be slippery when wet. This tour is not for
those with knee problems, breathing difficulties or those with difficulty walking or climbing or in wheelchairs.

Dolphin Kids is a special dolphin interaction program that offers children, from ages four to eight, the opportunity to learn more about Pacific bottlenose
dolphins in a fun, safe environment. This unique dolphin experience allows small children to get closer to dolphins than they ever dreamed possible! The
program starts with a poolside introduction to a family of dolphins. Children get to touch and interact with the dolphins in a hands-on session lead by an
experienced dolphin trainer on a shallow shelf in a specially designed maternity pool. A special feature of the Dolphin Kids program is that the youngest
members of the Dolphin Adventure family participate alongside their mothers in this very unique family experience. Everyone will receive a friendly
dolphin kiss and have a chance to pet and hug the dolphins before the program ends with dolphins showing off with some spectacular jumps. Parents
may accompany their children to the dolphin center by paying for a “ride along” ticket but do not participate in the water with the dolphins.
Note: Participants must be between the ages of 4 and 8 years. Parent or guardian may accompany and observe their child’s participation by paying for a
transportation only ticket to the dolphin center. Not suitable for children with physical or mental disabilities. Please do not wear sunscreen lotion as it may
be harmful to the animals. Please bring your swimsuit and a towel.

a National Wildlife Preserve due to the numerous species of birds, marine mammals and fish that live here. This tour will let you experience the
ecological sights and sounds of this natural environment. From the pier, an eco-guide will escort you to your state-of-the-art catamaran where you’ll meet
your crew and receive a brief orientation and a lifejacket demonstration. Leaving the dock, begin the 1-1/2-hour trip through Banderas Bay to the
Marietas. En route, get acquainted with the area through interesting and historical commentary. Keep an eye out for dolphins or whales (seasonal),

with detailed instructions on both snorkeling and kayaking. You’ll be fitted with snorkeling equipment and a review sheet, which contains information on
the types of fish and animals you may encounter. After a 10-minute guided bird-watching trip around the islands by boat, to familiarize you with the water
conditions and to see the various species, your boat will drop anchor and you’ll have approximately 1-1/4 hours to explore the waters by kayak and/or
snorkel. On your way back, weather conditions permitting, you’ll stop at a beautiful secluded beach where you’ll be able to relax, swim and partake in a
guided nature walk to discover inter-tidal life. Your return trip to Puerto Vallarta will feature a deli style lunch and cold beverages on the boat.

Between December and March, the waters of the Sea of Cortes are visited by thousands of whales that make their yearly migration toward the warmer

mighty blue whales – the largest animals to ever inhabit the earth. Whale watching is a favorite pastime, so keep your cameras poised. The Cousteau
Society has done some of its best film making right here. Admire breathtaking landscapes, miles of unspoiled beaches and private secluded coves, while
sipping unlimited rum, margaritas, tequila, beer and sodas and munching on chips and salsa. Enjoy the view of spectacular golf resorts and impressive

Join your knowledgeable guide on a trip back in time. The cape region is indeed striking in appearance, from its arid desert setting and white sand
coves, to its swaying palm trees and the deep-blue sea. Your drive will take you north to admire the contrasting coastal scenery – the Pacific Ocean is
on one side while on the other is a forest of Cardon cacti that goes on as far as the eye can see. Your destination is Todos Santos, a small oasis village
that sits peacefully next to the Pacific Ocean. Once in Todos Santos – which means all saints – you will have time to walk around the old Jesuit mission,
explore the small shops, glance through one of the many art galleries and visit the famous Hotel California that inspired the Eagles back in 1969. Or just
do as the locals do and sit in the town square and watch time go by. Upon returning to Cabo San Lucas, you will have the option to remain in town for
some last-minute shopping or return to your ship.
Note: Casual conservative dress is recommended, as well as a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Tour includes a snack of chips and salsa, quesadillas
and/or tropical fruit with one soft drink, beer or bottled water.

Approximate Duration: 1 hour
There is no better way to visit this historic town and see the legendary points of interest than from the comfort of a horse-drawn carriage. At the pier,
board a four-passenger classic wooden carriage for an approximately 45-minute ride through town, and along the way, listen to a recorded narration
containing information on local history and customs that are native to the area. Leaving the pier, you will go by the southernmost Jesuit Mission in Baja,
built in the late 1700s. A stone’s throw away is the historic Main Square with its traditional Kiosk. A brief photo stop will be made at either the Main
Square or the mission. As your carriage turns onto Marina Boulevard, you will pass by Cabo Wabo, the world famous nightclub owned by rocker Sammy
Hagar. After a brief glimpse of Cabo's back streets, your tour will take you back downtown to skirt through the small shopping sector of Cabo San Lucas.
Note: You will have time for shopping at the dockside flea market before returning to the tender pier. If you wish, you may stay in downtown Cabo San
Lucas and return to the ship on your own; it's an easy 10-minute walk back to the tender pier. Casual conservative dress is recommended. Bring a hat,
sunglasses, sunscreen and your camera.

SPORTFISHING ADVENTURE CSL-109

Cabo San Lucas rates as one of the best sportfishing destinations in the world and draws anglers from the four corners of the earth. This is home to
some of the richest fishing jackpots in the world, reaching up to $3 million. Of the 100-boat sportfishing fleet of Cabo San Lucas, the majority return with
fish onboard and most of those with at least one billfish. Nearly all of the boats return with some good fish tales as well. The 28-foot California
sportfishing cabin cruisers are radio-equipped and powered by one turbo-charged diesel engine, with top speeds of 15 knots. This puts most fishing
grounds within a 30-minute radius. Your tour includes boat, skipper, mate and tackle, three soft drinks/beer/bottled water per person, ice onboard, live
bait if available and a box lunch.
Note: Participants must be at least 12 years of age. The crew speak very limited English and are not intended to be fishing guides. You will be required
to purchase a fishing license before departing for $10 per person. Bill fishing is very different from other types of fishing. The crew will rig four fishing
lines, two set on outriggers and two directly from the fishing poles. These lines will trail lures. When a billfish is spotted, lines will be reeled in and live
bait substituted for the lures. Boats do not troll with live bait, as live bait is good for perhaps 15 minutes only. Unless you instruct the crew otherwise,
they will pick up the pole when there is a strike, hook the fish and hand you the pole. You will fight the fish from the fishing chair. When the fish is
brought alongside, the crew will gaff the fish. The catch and release of all billfish is mandatory.

Take a break while in Cabo and visit the famed Cabo Wabo for lunch at the beach. You will take a drive to Cabo Wabo, home of the famed Red
Rocker, Sammy Hagar. On arrival you will be served your choice of a Waborita, beer or shot of Tequila to get you going. Afterwards you will have
ample time to wander around this Rock and Roll palace. Be sure and explore the interior walls as there are hundreds of photographs with Sammy and
other famous rockers. The gift store will also be open if you are interested in bringing home some of Sammy’s prized Cabo Wabo Tequila. From Cabo
Wabo you are off to the beach for some fun in the sun. Listen to music with your feet in the water, while you enjoy a refreshing margarita or ice cold

Cabo San Lucas is surrounded by one of the most extensive submarine canyon systems in the world. The Sea of Cortes, which is on Cabo’s east side,
is actually a continuation of the San Andreas Fault Line that runs down the west coast of North America. The water depth in Cabo San Lucas Bay is over
700 feet just a few dozen yards from the shore, reaching depths of over 4,000 feet within two miles; within five miles the depths can easily exceed
12,000 feet. These deep-water canyons and currents are host to over 750 species of marine life and some species have over 2,000 varieties. This
creates some of the best and most diversified Scuba diving, snorkeling and sportfishing in the world. Your certified dive guide will provide an area
orientation and marine life briefing and a licensed boat Captain will take you to the dive site. Most dive sites are located just off the rocky shore and
