The National Association of Credit Management Honors NACM South Texas June 30, 2009: Columbia, Maryland—The National Association of Credit Management has recognized its Houston-based affiliate, NACM South Texas, as the Group One Membership Award Winner for 2008. NACM South Texas was honored during NACM-National’s 113th Annual Credit Congress, which was held in Orlando, Florida, June 14-17. NACM South Texas, also known as NACM Houston, is among the 46 NACM Affiliates located throughout the United States and in Puerto Rico that provide targeted, cost-effective receivables management services for credit and finance professionals. These services include credit reports covering both businesses and owners; collections resources; credit industry groups; and solutions for creditors working with financially distressed businesses, such as out-of-court arrangements, compromise settlements and liquidation. As an award winner, NACM South Texas sustained the highest net positive growth in members among likesized affiliates. Ed Baldwin, CCE, chairman of the NACM South Texas Board of Directors, accepted the honor on behalf of the affiliate. All NACM Affiliates are grouped together by membership size for record-keeping purposes. Membership statistics are tracked by group, and awards are presented to those affiliates that have shown the most significant growth during the past calendar year. Representatives from NACM South Texas will be among the attendees at the 2009 All South Conference, which will be held in Tampa, Florida, October 21-23.
