Auchrannie W e d d i n g s & C i v i l P a r t n e r s h i p s Auchrannie Spa Resort & House Hotel WEDDINGS YOUR RECEPTION Relax & enjoy your special day Weddings and partnerships at Auchrannie are just that little bit different. We offer a relaxed and flexible approach to your wedding day combined with personal attention and professional service. We promise to treat you as individuals and are happy to arrange your wedding to suit your needs and preferences. THE CEREMONY Wedding & Partnership Ceremonies Both Religious and Civil Ceremonies may be held at Auchrannie and we offer a number of attractive indoor venues which can accommodate up to 100 guests. We also have a wonderful ornamental Rose Garden which, weather permitting, is the perfect location for ceremonies & champagne receptions. Planning your wedding Your wedding or partnership represents one of the most important days of your life and our Co-ordinators are happy to meet with you to discuss your personal requirements before you make a commitment to holding your event at Auchrannie. Once a date has been agreed, our co-ordinators will guide you through all aspects of your event ensuring you are looked after throughout the planning and on the day. Remember that it is your day and we are here to ensure that everything is organised to suit your requirements. Religious Weddings You may choose to have your wedding ceremony at a local church or chapel returning to Auchrannie for your reception. Alternatively, you can hold the ceremony at Auchrannie or in any other venue of your choosing, either indoors or outdoors, subject to the agreement of minister or priest. In Scotland, it is legal to hold your ceremony out with a church or chapel. A choice of venues Brambles can accommodate from 48 to 100 guests for your wedding/partnership breakfast and up to 150 for the evening reception (80 seated). It has a well stocked bar and its own dance floor. For smaller occasions, Glencloy Suite can accommodate up to 48 guests, boasting stunning views up Glencloy from its private balcony. Alternatively, Brambles may be used for smaller gatherings on payment of a room hire fee. Civil Weddings & Partnerships Auchrannie House Hotel and Spa Resort is a licensed venue for Civil Marriages and Partnerships. The guidelines from the Registrars Office are quite rigid and have to be adhered to, however, both the Registrar and ourselves ensure the ceremony is a wonderful, happy event. We provide comfortable seating for each of your guests and light classical music is played quietly in the background. (Couples may choose to provide their own CD’s, however, the chosen tracks must be approved by the Registrar prior to the event.) A desk is provided for the signing of the register, plus the use of a safe, in which to place the signed documents for the duration of the reception. As the licence holder, a senior representative from the hotel shall be present in the room during the service, he/she will also operate the music. Copies of the Registrar’s Guidelines are available on request and special attention should be given to the music allowed and photography restrictions. Accommodating your guests Auchrannie House and Spa Resort offer a choice of accommodation for you and your guests. The happy couple may book the honeymoon suite and additional rooms to a maximum of 8 in the hotel whilst other guests may be accommodated either in the Spa Resort or in other accommodation locally. When guests are staying on a Friday or Saturday evening, bookings for the Hotel and Spa are subject to a minimum stay of 2 nights. Auchrannie Spa Resort & House Hotel WEDDINGS THE SMALL PRINT Making your wedding booking A provisional booking may be made through our co-ordinator who will then send a quotation detailing estimated costs for your event. You should then confirm your booking in writing with a deposit of £250 within 28 days. We will confirm receipt of your confirmation and deposit. We do reserve the right to reallocate your chosen date should you fail to confirm within 28 days. Making accommodation bookings You will be allocated an Accommodation Co-ordinator who will advise you and deal with bookings for up to 8 rooms in the hotel which are at the disposal of the event organiser. It is the responsibility of the event organiser to liaise with the co-ordinator regarding any changes to bookings for these rooms and to advise billing arrangements. The wedding organiser is responsible for any unpaid charges or non arrivals for these rooms. Please note that the 8 rooms are not automatically reserved when you book your reception and are subject to availability. All other guests should book direct with the Spa Resort reservations team. All rooms are subject to our normal booking conditions outlined in our main tariffs. Your account 1. Please inform us of any changes to anticipated guest numbers as early as possible with a final number being supplied 7 days before the event. Your account will be based on numbers supplied at that time unless they are actually higher on the day. If your guests have fallen below the minimum number for a venue we reserve the right to change the venue or date and / or charge a room hire fee. 2. Other costs are as estimated in your quotation. Any changes or additions to your itinerary will incur changes to the charging structure. Prices quoted are subject to alteration due to circumstances which may be outwith our control, although every effort is made to honour these. We will advise you of any changes to charges at the earliest date possible. Damage or disruption The person responsible for the event account is responsible for 1. any damage caused to public areas or bedrooms in the hotel, spa or lodges by event guests. 2. any refunds given to non wedding guests at the discretion of the management, due to disruption caused by event guests. Payment of accounts You should settle 50% of the estimated account one month prior to the event with the balance being settled on departure. All charges on accommodation accounts should be settled on departure from the hotel. Other small print 1. Consumption of alcohol, other than supplied by the hotel, is not allowed without prior permission. A corkage charge will apply in these circumstances. 2. Catering by any outside agency is not allowed. 3. Confetti is unfortunately not allowed on the Auchrannie estate for environmental reasons. 4. Let us take the strain..............relax and enjoy your day! Cancellation of the event In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel your event reservation, the hotel reserves the right to withhold your deposit or any part of which is considered appropriate to cover expenses incurred or income lost as a result of the cancellation. Cancellation less that 7 days prior to the event will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the estimated final cost of the event. Auchrannie Spa Resort & House Hotel WEDDINGS MENUS & DINING WINING AND DINING Our menu selectors and an extensive choice of wines, champagnes and drinks is included. These menus give suggestions for your special day but are by no means exhaustive. If there is something you would like which is not included, please do not hesitate to ask. It is your day!! Children aged 4 to 12 are charged 65% of the adult rate if choosing from the main menu. Alternatively there is a ‘Kiddies Menu’ available from which you can choose items, in advance, to give the children their own special menu. The menu costs shown include your meal including coffee & mints, standard menu production, place cards, white linen table cloths and napkins. Room hire for your wedding breakfast and champagne reception is also included in the menu price except where numbers fail to meet minimum requirements. MENU SELECTOR Our à la carte menu selector is included in the following pages. You can choose the dishes you prefer from each section to create your own menu at a fixed cost. You may choose 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts from each section. Where dining numbers exceed 80 you should substitute one starter for a soup choice. If you are able to pre-order all meals 7 days in advance, you may choose an additional dish per course. FORK BUFFETS For those who would prefer a buffet for their wedding/event breakfast, we include a choice of buffets incorporating hot and cold food. EVENING FINGER BUFFETS Your guests may be feeling peckish as the evening progresses and so a range of light buffet options are included. The estate is situated only one mile from Brodick Ferry Terminal. When leaving the terminal, turn right through Brodick village.
