Mohammed Hanif
Currently working as Director Strategic Development with Getz Pharma, a
country’s leading pharmaceutical company ranking as number 5th in the country,
with a wide range of product portfolio and having distribution and marketing set-
up in more than 25 countries of the world.

He has over 35 years experience of working with world renowned chemical, pharmaceutical, logistics
and cargo division of Lufthansa Airline within Pakistan and abroad. During the employment period he
has an extensive experience of working in the different capacity to look after Finance, Treasury, ERP,
Supply Chain, ERM, Strategic and Project development, business process management on operation
and strategic sphere and cadre.

Professionally he is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountant of
Pakistan. He is also Vice President of the council M Phi in Supply Chain Management, , Fellow
member of Institute of Supply Management (USA) and also Chartered member of Charter Institute of
logistics and transport. Have a recognized and approved 15 thesis in the field of Business Process
Outsourcing, Business Process Engineering, SCOR, and Supply Chain Management dynamics,
Leverage Financing, Employees Stock Options, SCM Risk and Enterprise Risk Management. His
PhD thesis on Enterprise Management is being examined for doctorate.

Have attended many vocational and professional training programs around the world. He is also
educationist and employed as honorary Chairman of Supply Chain Management stream by the
country largest private university.    Have presented many papers and have conducted various
workshop and training program locally and also in Asian pacific countries on ERP, BPR, SCM, EVA,
Project financing, ProVision, TTM, Corporate Finance, Financial Management. Enterprise
Management and ERM, On World Trade Organization, and TRIPS he has worked on South Asia
Region within his previous job and has worked out various policies related to logistics and transport
with the Indian and Chinese counter part. He also received the best presentation award on WTO in
2005 by the WTO organization.

Shahid Zaki
Shahid Zaki is currently working in Institute of Business Administration as the
Director, EMBA Program and is also the part of IBA’s Faculty of Management,
teaching courses like Operational Management, Leadership, Total Quality
Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.

Shahid Zaki, possess a sound technical background in semi-conductors and
computers which is harmonized by a very vivid understanding of Sales and Marketing. His very rich
experience can be seen from his work history which ranges from Technical Production, Sales and
Marketing to Human Resource Management, Policy Planning, Designing and Implementation. He
also has experience and in-depth knowledge of Logistics, Inventory Control and Budget Management.

Shahid Zaki, graduated from the University of Southern California, USA in 1976 with a Master’s
degree in Engineering. He complemented his Engineering degree with a Masters in Business
Administration Degree with Majors in Marketing. This combination of a technical and a business
degree has given him a techno-commercial edge which is critically required for leaders who head
businesses which deal in technology.

Immediately on return from the United States in 1976, he joined the Philips Electrical Industries of
Pakistan Limited. This was the start of his life long career and professional association with the
company. He has enjoyed working on a number of prize positions in the company which include:

Shahid Zaki was responsible for the overall financial, production/manufacturing related, logistic
management of all the departments and product divisions in Philips Pakistan including Corporate,
Consumer Electronics, and Lighting & Domestic Appliances. He also looked after Human Resources
in the capacity of Director Human Resource. He has been responsible for the Strategic Business
Planning for Philips Pakistan.

During his tenure, Philips Pakistan made recovery from losses and turned profitable. The financial
target given to Philips Pakistan was surpassed despite major onslaught of competition.

He has during his professional career, continued to develop himself by attending various professional
courses and seminars. He continues to pursuing teaching at universities and institution in the quest to
remain academically vibrant and remain in touch with ongoing research and development in various
disciplines of management and technology.
