Breakout Session - “Movement with a Purpose: Part II” In this session, we will explore direct applications to different age groups and learning environments. In order to tailor this class to the participants, please bring specific questions so we can address individual applications of Dalcrozian principles to your teaching situation. Breakout Session - “Early Brain Development and Music” Kathy is an Early Childhood Education instructor at the University ...through Music & Movement of Northern Colorado and Aims Community College. This session will focus on early brain development. Participants will discover how the brain develops, brainstorm positive influences on brain development and determine the role music can play in that process. Loni Elley Breakout Session - “Bridging the Gap: Moving from Early Childhood Music and Movement to Instrumental Music Instruction” This session is designed to demonstrate how early childhood music translates and enhances a child’s ability to learn to play a musical instrument. Loni received her BME from the University of Northern Colorado, and is a Suzuki Certified violin instructor.
