October 17-18, 2009 FALL FAMILY WEEKEND $110/person Coed, All Ages Halloween is near! This is a family camp program for the whole family to sleep over at Clara Barton Camp, have fun, and learn a trick or two about nutrition and diabetes! Trick or treat the Barton way, make new friends, enjoy healthy snacks, and so much more. This program will include lots of Halloween games, crafts, stories, and singing! Bring the whole family and join us for this magical weekend! Don’t forget your costumes! $600 maximum for this family program. February 19-21, 2010 SKI & SNOWBOARD WEEKEND Coed, Ages 13-18 $480/person (without rental equipment) $532/person (with rental equipment) Come with us to snowboard, ski, and have winter fun at Bromley Mountain in Vermont. Whether on the slopes or in the lodge, participants will learn how to deal with diabetes while enjoying winter activities, bonding with peers, interacting with positive diabetes role models, and being inspired to make the best of life with diabetes. We will provide lift tickets, food, lodging, and transportation to and from Camp Joslin. Lessons will also be available, please contact us for details. Space is limited—register early. April 16-18, 2010 LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL $225/person Coed, Ages 17-20 2009—2010 Please complete a separate registration form for each program. Photocopies accepted. All children under 2 are FREE. $600 maximum for all family programs* Please check your program of choice. *Fall Family Weekend Coed, All Ages October 17-18, 2009 $110/person College, the workforce, whatever your future holds, come experience what living with diabetes is like when you are on your own. This program is designed to engage you in discussions and activities that simulate real life situations. Have fun while learning techniques and strategies from those who have gone on their own before you. High school juniors, seniors, and college freshmen are especially encouraged to attend this “don’t miss” weekend. Space is limited—register early. November 13-15, 2009 NOVEMBER WACkY WEEKEND $235/person Coed, Ages 6-16 Come spend the weekend with a camp buddy, a friend from home or sibling without diabetes, or just come by yourself, but don’t miss out on this awesome weekend planned especially for you. Missing summer camp? Are you thinking about trying camp next summer and want to see what camp is all about? Then this weekend, filled with zany activities, diabetes education, and memories that will last a lifetime, is for you. NO PARENTS ALLOWED! April 24, 2010 1 p.m.—4 p.m. FAMILY CAMP DAZE FREE Coed, All Ages March 13, 2010 1 p.m. ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S ROAD RACE/WALK Fundraiser for Summer Camperships at Clara Barton Camp, Camp Joslin, Barton Day Camps $25/person registration fee Coed, All Ages Sign up for this four-mile sanctioned event. See camp friends, pre-register and get a t-shirt. Recruit family and friends to walk or run with you to help raise money through pledges toward your summer camp fee or for the general campership fund. Funds you raise can be applied to your camp fee at Clara Barton Camp, Camp Joslin, or Barton Day Camps. This event is followed by a buffet and prizes! All forms will be online in 2010. Thinking about attending camp this summer, or just looking to reconnect? Spend the afternoon with us taking a tour of both camps, doing crafts, and playing some wildly fun camp games. April 9-11, 2010 CAREGIVERS WEEKEND $135/person Coed, All Ages February 12-15, 2010 FEBRUARY WACkY WEEKEND $310/person Coed, Ages 6-16 This is a great weekend to either reunite with your camp friends or try camp for the first time. You may also bring a friend or sibling without diabetes! There may or may not be snow, but the thing you can count on is that there will be lots of fun, laughing, learning, and friendship! NO PARENTS ALLOWED! Parents, is there a grandparent, aunt, uncle, neighbor, or babysitter, who is willing to look after your child with diabetes “if only they understood what diabetes is all about?” Or now that you have had time to breathe after your child’s recent diagnosis, are you still filled with lots of questions? Then this weekend is the right fit for your family. Send your child to camp with the caregiver or bring your family for “Diabetes 101 and Diabetes 201.” Everyone will leave camp with a better understanding and knowledge about diabetes and taking care of the ones they love! Space is limited for one of our most popular programs. $600 maximum for this family program. Winter is over, the snow has melted and Clara Barton Camp is in need of sprucing up! Spend the day getting camp ready for the summer! In just a few short weeks, the summer will be abuzz with song and activities. Remember this is a great way to earn your own camp fee or raise money for someone else! Lunch is provided.
