DEED OF DECLARATION OF TRUST





THIS DEED OF TRUST made at New Delhi on this ___ day of _________ by

Mr/Mrs. _______________________________ (hereinafter called the ‘Settlor’ which

expression shall, unless excluded by or repugnant to the context, be deemed to include

their executors, administrators and representatives) of the one part;



And





Mr/Mrs. _____________________ (hereinafter individually referred to as „Trustee‟ and

jointly referred to as “Trustees” which expression shall, unless excluded by or repugnant

to the context, be deemed to include the trustee or Trustees for the time being and their

successors in office) of the other part;



WHEREAS:



NOW THIS DEED OF TRUST WITNESSETH & IT IS HEREBY AGREED AND

DECLARED BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS:



1. Interpretation

1.1 Wherever there is a reference to a male person, it shall be equally applicable to a

female and vice versa.



1.2 Words importing singular shall include plural words and vice versa.



2. Establishment of Trust

2.1 The Settlor with a view to set up the Trust does hereby irrevocably settle, transfer

and make over to the Trustees a contribution of ________ to the corpus of the

Trust as “Trust Fund” to have and to hold the same together with donations and

all additions or accretions thereto and the investments representing the same

upon Trust and subject to the powers, declarations, directions, agreements,

conditions and provisions herein declared, expressed and contained.



2.2 Being motivated as above, the settlor does hereby constitute a Trust for Public

Charitable Purposes under the name and style of ________or any other name as

the Trustees may choose from time to time (hereinafter referred to as the

“Trust”) for carrying out charitable activities and, for the purpose.

2.3 The Trust shall be for the benefit of all persons without any discrimination as to

religion, race, caste, colour or creed.

2.4 The Trustees hereby agree, accept, declare and confirm that they shall hold the

Trust Fund upon trust and for the purposes herein specified or declared by this

Deed and manage the same in accordance with this Deed and subject to the

powers, agreements and declarations herein contained.



3. Objects of the Trust:

a) Cultural:

(i) To create awareness among the society by arranging workshops, seminar,

conference and other programme related to Cultures.

(ii) To motivate the community by conducting various volunteer work in

local areas of that community and involving the interested local people

for their contribution.

(iii) To safeguard the Culture – Tangible as well as Intangible for future

generation by -

a) Creating, register or database of tangible culture i.e., Heritage

building and sites, cultural objects, & literature etc, and of Intangible

Heritage. These register will compiled for the purpose of identifying

and safeguarding the culture (tangible & intangible).

b) Involving the protecting the practising community – help those

communities which has created or practised an intangible culture,

create structure for community representation and provide financial

help to safeguard tangible and intangible culture.

c) Protecting material traces and places associated with culture –

whether 'urban', 'rural', or 'wilderness' – to explore the inter-

relationship between human activity and the natural environment.

d) Making intangible forms tangible – making of multi-media

documentation including video, audio, photographs, maps, notes and

sketches to record and store a performance or ritual, a memory,

knowledge system or a mode of doing something.

e) Recreating and renewing intangible culture – organize various

programme to reward people who embody key skills and techniques

so that they will (i) continue with their own work (ii) where

desirable, develop and expand the frontiers of that work (iii) train

younger people to take their place in due course and (iv) encourage

younger people to devote their lives to learning these skills and

techniques by holding out to them the possibility of fame, perhaps

riches also.

f) To provoke the government to sponsor or encourage cultural

programs on radio and television to help people engage with a

diversity of culture forms.

(iv) Collaboration with various other institutions like Museum, tourism and

other similar organizations for the promotion of culture.

(v) To provide facilities for conserving and protecting of all kinds of culture

property such as – Heritage building, Cultural property and Museum

objects etc.









b) Environment:



(i) Create awareness on the importance of safeguarding our environment

through workshops, seminars and field-studies.

(ii) Promote and encourage research in environment, conservation and

sustainable development.

(iii) Implement field projects to improve, enrich and enhance environmental

quality and protect existing/fast disappearing ecosystems.

(iv) Inform and influence individuals/institutions whose decisions affect the

environment and ecology and in turn, human existence on this planet.

(v) Produce multi lingual resource & information material such as films,

books, posters, publications etc., and telecast / distribute them to reach

out to a larger audience.



c) Rural Development:



(i) To support voluntary organisations in implementing projects for

sustainable development in rural areas.

(ii) To act as a national nodal point for development and promotion of

appropriate rural technologies.

(iii) To promote and support voluntary action and people's participation for

rural development, through capacity-building for voluntary organisations

and rural communities.

(iv) To act as a data bank and clearing house for information on the voluntary

sector, rural technologies and rural development.

(v) Facilitating community action for development.

(vi) Building awareness on critical development issues.

(vii) Building and strengthening village-level people and organisations.

(viii) Promoting the development and dissemination of appropriate rural

technologies.

(ix) Strengthening the capacities of voluntary organisations in rural areas.

(x) Creating employment opportunities and economic self-reliance.

(xi) Creation of community assets and fulfilment of basic needs.

(xii) Conservation and regeneration of the environment and natural resources.

(xiii) Enabling women, persons with disabilities and other disadvantaged

groups to participate in development



d) Information technology:



(i) To setup vocational training institutes or colleges provide training in the

field of IT/ITES to students to make them capable of earning their own

money and become financially capable.

(ii) Award of loan scholarships.

(iii) Provide books, CDs.

(iv) To setup data processing or development centres for IT/ITES related

works. This will also provide on job training or placements to students

undergoing training in IT.





A) To promote the advancement of education in all its aspects particularly computer

literacy and InfoTech related education at any place or places in India and to do all

things necessary for the same.

with a view to stem the onset of “digital divide” and to promote economic growth rate

together with achieving a quantum jump in the overall development of the community

from the grass root level.



2. Create large-scale employment opportunity particularly in rural areas and amongst

under privileged urban community canters by fully exploiting the advantages of modern

InfoTech revolution.



3. Developing entrepreneurial spirit and abilities of the youth by providing them

resources and skills required to become successful self-employed individual and teams.
