                          Molding and Filler Mastic

Densyl Mastic is a cold applied self-supporting mastic. It is a petrolatum
Description compound containing inert siliceous fillers and vegetable fibers.

Densyl Mastic is used for sealing, filling and caulking applications where a
Uses protective, waterproof and non-setting mastic is required. It can be used to
contour tank bases and profile irregular surfaces. It is applied prior to the
tape application and generally used in conjunction with primer, Denso
Petrolatum Tapes or Denso Bituminous Tapes.

              control additives.

The mastic is used to provide a smooth profile on irregular shaped fittings such
Uses as flanged joints and valves. It is applied prior to the tape application and
generally used in conjunction with primer, Denso Petrolatum Tapes or Denso
              Bituminous Tapes.

              • Easy application from arctic to tropical temperatures
Features • Excellent molding and sealing properties
              • No VOCs
              • Will adhere to metal, PVC, polyethylene and concrete
              • Not effected by water, acids and salts
              • Non-hardening in cold weather
              • Minimal surface preparation (SSPC SP 2-3)

Prepare surfaces by removing all loose scale, rust or other foreign matter in
Application accordance to SSPC SP2 “Hand Tool Cleaning” or SP3 “Power Tool Cleaning”.
High pressure water wash of 3,000 - 7,000 psi is also suitable. Apply a thin film
of appropriate primer to the surface. Then, by hand application, mold the
mastic to a rounded configuration to fill irregular shapes and reduce sharp
              edged surfaces.

           DENSO VOID FILLER
                     Injectable Petrolatum Compound

Denso Void Filler is a petrolatum compound specially formulated for hot
Description injection into voids. The compound is based entirely on petroleum
hydrocarbons with additives to displace water, inhibit corrosion, enhance
              adhesion and control flow.

The void filler is pumped into the voids occurring between pipes, cables, ducts
Uses and protective sleeves to exclude air and water. It is generally pumped warm
and sets to a semi-solid paste to provide corrosion protection of the steel.

              • Non-hardening
Features • Excellent flexibility
              • Penetrates and wets existing corrosion
              • Can be pumped
              • Unaffected by water, acids and salts
              • Can be supplied in large quantities

The void filler is heated between 176°F to 248°F (80°C to 120°C) and pumped
Application into the lowest point until it exits the highest point in a continuous stream at
about 158°F (70°C). For full long term corrosion protection it is essential to
completely fill all voids between strands and ducts to exclude all air and water.
Designs shall allow for expansion and contraction due to temperature change
without creating pressure in the ducts.
                                                                      Denso Void Filler
