SPOKEN THANKSGIVINGS
OPENING PRAYER (In Unison)
You are great in every way, O God, and greatly to be praised. Your mighty
power is unfathomable for mere humans to understand. Even so, we know
that you are present at all times and in all places. We dare to ask for whatever
power we may need to live the best lives that may glorify you. Through Jesus
    Christ our Lord. Amen.

SILENT PRAYER ORGAN MEDITATION

WORDS OF ASSURANCE
Leader: Loving God, give us open hearts, as open and eager as a toddler's first steps.
Give us open ears, that we may hear your words fresh and new, comforting
and challenging us. Give us open hands, ready to receive a blessing and
willing to offer gentle care. Loving God, show us the depths of your grace in
these precious moments and in your holy Word. Amen.

PASTORAL PRAYER
RESPONSE AFTER EACH PRAYER CONCERN:
        Leader: Lord, in Your mercy,
        People: Hear our prayer!
     THE LORD’S PRAYER (In Unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
         And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

THE OFFERING THOUGHT
Leader: We offer to you, O God, our praises, our lives and our gifts. Receive
and bless them so that your reign might fully come on earth as in
heaven. May the words of our mouths, the devotion of our hearts and
the acts of our lives all speak your praises. Amen. Will the ushers come
                forward?
