nancy's notes

before starting the tests, make a course site, add sakaistus, create
assignments worth points & associated w/gradebook, create items in
gradebook for manual grading, a test in tests & quizzes, (later when
integration test is done - a forum topic) associated with a gradebook
item/score. submit items & assignments as students, take the test as
students with a variety of scores.
1.01-1.03 assignment changed to GB item as/Lisa - because names of
things have changed in current smartsite versions and I was totally
confused! 8-8-07
all links and action buttons should be in bold text

observations
class average appears to calculate by adding the total scores and dividing
by the number of students, NOT the number who have submitted - needs
to be tested
?test for P/F, letter grades, points and how they're handled
in gradebook setup there is a listing for categories & weighting,
implying they work. I didn’t think they were going to work until fall. do we
need a test for them now??
