SUBJECT: Fort Knox Policy Memo No. 5-08 - Equal Opportunity (EO) Complaint Proccdurcs
1. Reference Anny Regulation 600-20, Army Command Policy, 7 June 2006
2. 1 want all Soldiers, Family members, and Department of the Amy Civilians to know that EO complaints will be addressed in a prompt, professional manner, regardless of race, religion, color, gender, or national origin. I also want to en~phasizc T will not toIerate any acts of that reprisal or attempts to suppress anyonc who wants to file an EO complaint. Any comn~arrder or agency receiving an EO complaint will immediate1y contact hisher unit EO advisor for guidance and assistance,
3. If you believe you have a complaint, 1recommend informing your chain of command first and afford them the opportunity to resolve the issue. I encourage the processing of EO complaints tltrough the chain of command but would like to reitcrate there are otlicr channcls available to resolve complaints. If you have a complaint against a rncrnber of your chain of command, you may use other channels, such as the ncxt higher echelon in thc chain of command, your EO advisor, the installation EO office, the EO Hotline at (5021624-35 10, thc Inspector General, or the Staff Chaplain's officc.
