June 23-24 Orientation and Registration (Tuesday & Wednesday) June 24 Registration for new students- Undergraduate and Graduate for Terms B only, in the office of Records and Registration- Student Center Annex, Second Floor ( Wednesday) June 25 Classes begin – Full payment or payment arrangement is required by 5:00pm in the Cashier’s Office to avoid cancellation of classes (Thursday) June 25,26 & 29 Add period and also first day of late registration (Thursday, Friday and Monday , 8:30am to 4:30pm – Student Center Extension, Ground Floor Lobby) June 29 Last day of late registration. Also last day to drop classes from Term B and receive 100% refund (Monday) July 2 Holiday – Independence Day (Thursday) July 6 Last day to drop classes from Term B and receive 80% refund (Monday) July 9 Last day to drop classes from Term B AMS classes and receive 60% refund (Thursday) July 9 Last day to drop courses with no notation of course enrollment on the academic transcript (Thursday) July 15 Last day to withdraw from Term B and receive 40% refund (Wednesday) July 16 Last day to make up incomplete ( I ) grades for undergraduate courses from Summer A 2009 (Thursday) July 21 Last day to drop classes from Term B and receive 20% refund (Tuesday) July 23 Last day to submit applications for Term B and Term C degree completion (Thursday) July 23 Last day to officially drop classes and receive a grade of “W”. If a withdrawal is necessary after the last day to drop courses, as listed in the Campus Calendar, grades of “WF” will be assigned for all courses in which the student is enrolled. WF grades are calculated into the grade point average (GPA). The Office of Student Services or the Associate Dean of Student Academics may grant exceptions for medical reasons or other extenuating circumstances.

Attention Prospective Graduates!
Spring 2009 Ceremony Participation
• All students wishing to participate in the Spring 2009 ceremony must apply by the March 13th deadline. • Spring 2009 graduates must be degree complete for May 2009. • Summer A, B, and C graduates must be within 12 credit hours of completion at the end of the Spring 2009 term.
Spring Graduates
February 13: Application Deadline In order to be evaluated and considered for degree completion and participation in the Spring 2009 ceremony, an application must be on file in Records & Registration by this date. March 13: Paperwork Due All paperwork required for degree completion processing must be on file in Records & Registration by this date. This includes forms such as changes of AOC/minor, etc. Students who have not submitted required paperwork as of this date are ineligible to graduate or participate in commencement exercises and will be notified as such. May 5: Commencement Ceremony/Degree Conferred
Summer Graduates

Advisement and Registration Dates
February 17-20 Advisement Advisement is required for ALL students in the following degree programs: Human Factors & Systems, Aerospace Studies Communications, Eng. Physics, & Space Physics. Advisement is not required of Juniors and Seniors, in all remaining degree programs, however Freshmen and Sophomores must see their advisor prior to registration. Students on academic warning or probation must also meet with their advisor and are required to register in Records & Registration. See the Registration Rules & Regulations on page 3.
