On December 23, 2009, Cat Tech, LLC was renamed Clean Harbors Catalyst Technologies,
LLC.

As you may know, on July 31, 2009, Clean Harbors acquired Eveready Inc. and all of its
operating affiliates including, Cat Tech. Although the acquisition took place in July, Cat Tech
retained its business name until now. The name change will not affect existing contracts, and
Clean Harbors Catalyst Technologies will honor all of Cat Tech’s contractual obligations.

To assist you with this name change and the transition process, we are attaching an Invoice
Payment Fact Sheet. Using the information on this fact sheet, we ask that you immediately
update your payment Remit to Address, banking ACH/Wire detail, and lockbox information.
