You will need either a pc or mac. Download the latest iTunes from the apple website or update to the latest if you already have it. Plug your iPod to the computer
with the cable. Let iTunes detect your iPod. Once detected, select your iPod from left panel. There will be two options, update and restore. Choose restore. Note:
everything will be erased so make sure you backup your iPod, and your iPod software will be updated to the latest one which can't be jailbroken yet.
