  Event Cancellation Policy
  Regularly Scheduled Events
  Healthwise Connection supper clubs, lectures, fitness classes, blood
  pressure clinics, etc.
  All regularly scheduled events will be canceled whenever schools in the
  same community are canceled due to inclement weather or disaster
  and refunds will be granted. Fitness classes will not meet on legal
  holidays. If events are canceled for any other reason, we will attempt to
  contact anyone who has made a reservation for the event.
  Special Events
  Bus Trips, Holiday Extravaganza, etc.
  You will be informed if a bus trip or other special event for which
  you have purchased a ticket is canceled. Bus trips are generally not
  canceled for weather unless the State Highway Patrol closes the
  highways. Once the cancellation deadline date is past, cancellations
  are at the discretion of the bus company or catering facility.

Mammogram Screening by ANGELs
The ANGEL Network mission is to reduce the number of deaths within the
African American female population by offering early-detection programs,
access to screening and empowering African American women on breast
health practices so that they will take an active part in their own health
care. South Pointe Hospital provides free or low cost mammograms. For

Huron Hospital

Mammogram Mondays (through Fridays)
This grant-funded program provides free mammogram screenings for
qualified women with no insurance. The program is for women 40 years of
age and older; there is no age restriction for women with a family history
of breast cancer. Sponsored by Huron Hospital in partnership with The
National Breast Cancer Foundation and Colgate Palmolive.

Simply obtain a mammogram order from your physician and contact
scheduling at 216.636.8000 (Monday thru Thursday, 7:30 a.m. –
6:30 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.). Explain that you’re calling
about “Mammogram Mondays.” If you do not have a physician, call
216.761.7684 for more information.

Transportation provided as needed within a five-mile radius of Huron
Hospital. Uninsured patients who require follow-up will be referred to
Huron’s Community Health Center.

Medicare’s One-Time Physical Exam
If you just enrolled in Medicare Part B, you can receive a one-time
preventive check-up from a Huron Hospital physician. Routine physical
exams can screen for many illnesses and conditions that, if caught
early, can be treated and managed and result in far fewer serious health
consequences. You must have the exam within one year of enrollment to
qualify. Medicare Part B accepted, (Medicare HMO, PPO, PFFS- may cover

diabetes, asthma, emphysema, heart conditions, high blood pressure, MS

program was developed by Stanford University and is offered through a
partnership between Cleveland Clinic and Fairhill Partners.

Join Marymount Hospital and The Village at Marymount for a monthly supper
club. The club meets on the third Wednesday of every other month, offering
dinner, entertainment and activities for adults 50 years of age and older.

The Victorian Christmas in Cambridge, Ohio

Walking key:
Mild: Up to two blocks at a time, limited steps, mostly even surfaces, some standing,
intermittent seating.
Moderate: Up to a quarter of a mile at a time, stairs, slight changes in surface level,
standing or walking required for up to one hour. Those with limited mobility should
bring a caregiver capable of and responsible for providing necessary assistance
throughout trip.
Strenuous: Long periods of walking, up to one mile at a time, stairs, changes in
surface level, standing for long periods. Recommended only for those in good
physical condition.




  Bus Trip Policies
  Space is limited to one bus per trip. Trips include round-trip luxury motorcoach fare, all
  admissions and tours listed, meals as indicated, all taxes and gratuities. Overnight trips
  include lodging and baggage handling (one bag per person).

  Please be prepared to give the following information for each person booking a trip:
  name, address, phone number, boarding location, meal choice (if applicable), and credit
  care information. Trips are offered to members and their guests only.
  Times listed are approximate; you will receive final itinerary (including departure location
  and time) about one week before trip.
  Please note: Trips cancelled by the published deadline are guaranteed a refund. Later
  cancellations will be granted a refund in the form of a gift certificate only if we can fill the
  spot. All trips have reserved seating, based on order in which reservations are received.

How do you get started?
1. Log onto clevelandclinic.org/HWCevents.
2. Search the calendar for events you’d like to attend.
3. A window with a detailed description of the event will pop up on your
   screen. (If online registration is NOT available, it will be noted in red at
   the top of the window.)
4. View the event details, scroll down and click on “Close This Window”
   at the bottom.
5. If you want to attend the event, click the “Start Registration” button, which is to
   the left of the event name you just previewed.
6. Enter the required information (boxes shaded pink). By providing your
   email address, you will receive a confirmation email for the event.
7. Click “Submit Contact For This Event.”
8. Click “Review/Submit Registrations.”
9. Click “Finalize All.”
