Purpose:
The
purpose
of
this
training
module
is
to
give
you
a
step‐by‐step
flowchart
and

checklist
that
will
walk
you
through
the
Phase
2
promotion
of
your
campaign.
This
is
the
second

phase
of
a
system
and
builds
upon
the
previous
phase
to
achieve
greater
results.
In
this
phase

you
are
introduced
to
the
Web2Coop
and
PAD
Submitter
tool.

                                                                                               1

Phase‐2
Checklist

     Step
1
–
Check
Current
Rankings:
Now
that
you
are
done
phase
1,
you
will
want
to

      check
the
progress
of
your
rankings
and
traffic.
You
will
more
than
likely
see
progress

      made
at
this
point
(depending
of
course
upon
the
amount
of
competition
your
keyword

      phrase
has).
Make
sure
you
use
the
same
data
source
as
you
did
when
you
originally

      recorded
the
results
at
the
start
of
phase
1
because
different
analytics
sources
(AWStats

      versus
Google
Analytics)
will
give
different
results.
The
reason
for
checking
your

      rankings
at
this
point
is
nothing
more
than
quenching
your
curiosity
and
no
matter
what

      the
results
are
so
far,
you
will
want
to
at
minimum
complete
the
first
three
phases

      before
you
move
on
to
another
term
or
website.

     Step
2
‐
Create
Article
Content:
Create
two
400+
word
articles
focused
on
your
primary

      keyword
phrase
and
a
two
to
three
sentence
resource
box
that
will
contain
a
link
to

      your
website
and
a
call
to
action.
Do
not
just
create
a
new
version
of
the
article
you

      created
from
phase
1,
make
sure
the
content
is
unique
and
worthwhile.
One
version
will

      be
used
for
article
directories;
blogs
and
web
2
properties
and
the
other
version
will
be

      submitted
to
the
Syndicate
Kahuna
network.
If
you
are
limited
on
resources
(time
and
or

      money)
you
can
use
the
same
article
for
everything.
Refer
to
training
module

      http://www.web2mayhem.com/pdf/contentwithpurpose

     Step
3
–
Ping
RSS
Accounts:
Some
of
the
accounts
that
you
created
with
the

      W2Mayhem
software
provide
“profile
pages”
and
many
of
these
pages
contain
links
to

      all
your
sites
that
you
submitted
PLUS
they
have
an
RSS
feed
of
that
specific
page.
What

      you
are
going
to
do
now
is
a
small
bit
of
promotion
to
those
“RSS
Account”
profile
pages

      to
ensure
that
the
search
engines
find
all
your
back
links
and
give
you
credit
for
them.
In

      this
step
you
are
simply
going
to
“Ping”
the
profiles
and
in
the
next
step
you
will
be

      bookmarking
them.
Below
are
the
profiles
you
will
ping
with
where
to
find
the
profile

      page
and
its
RSS
feed
page.
There
is
also
a
list
of
pinging
services
you
will
want
to
rotate

      through
(P.S.
Do
not
be
alarmed
if
only
50%
to
80%
of
the
pings
are
successful,
that
is

      normal).

           o Friendfeed

           o Feedbite

                                                                                                 2

     Step
4
–
Bookmark
RSS
Accounts:
Using
your
onlywire.com
account,
and
ensuring
you

        use
different
titles,
descriptions
and
tags,
bookmark
the
following
pages
(be
sure
to

        replace
the
“username”
with
your
accounts
actual
username):

            o http://friendfeed.com/username

            o http://www.feedbite.com/user/username

            o http://lifestream.fm/username

     Step
5:
Create
a
New
Web
2
Property:
Using
a
unique
spun
version
of
the
content
from

        phase
1,
create
a
new
“Web
2
Property”
focused
on
your
primary
keyword
phrase.
You

        are
going
to
be
promoting
this
new
Web
2
Property
with
the
same
keyword
as
your

        main
site,
remember
the
goal
here
is
multiple
top
10
listings.

Make
sure
the
page
links

        to
your
site
with
your
primary
keyword
but
also
try
to
put
a
call
to
action
on
the
page

        somewhere.
Below
are
three
great
Web
2
property
resources
to
use,
each
one
is
very

        powerful
and
my
personal
recommendation
is
to
first
use
Squidoo,
however
if
there
is

        already
a
squidoo
lens
but
no
hubpages,
then
use
hubpages.
If
there
is
a
squidoo
and
a

        hubpages
then
use
a
gather.
Here
is
an
example
Squidoo
lens
that
I
built:

        http://squidoo.com/after‐a‐hysterectomy‐recovery

            o http://www.squidoo.com
Certain
topics
are
not
accepted
in
Squidoo,
anything

                 that
references
genitals,
sex
or
anything
similar
will
not
be
accepted
by
them.)

            o http://www.hubpages.com
They
are
very
strict
and
if
you
use
them
you
can
only

                 have
one
link
on
the
page
to
your
main
site
and
do
not
put
a
strong
call
to

                 action
on
the
page.
Hubpages
is
loved
by
Google
but
can
be
often
frustrating
to

                 use.

            o http://www.gather.com
Another
powerful
site
but
make
sure
you
fill
out
all

                 your
profile
details.
