Description
M/A-COM Technology Solutions is now offering a floor mounted
RFID Portal encompassing up to four circularly polarized antennas
with integrated cabling that can accommodate all leading brands of
RFID readers. A galvanized steel frame in conjunction with a
high strength thermoformed radome gives this RFID Portal a
structurally rigid frame while also maintaining a sleek, low profile
look. A front access panel to power outlets, a reset switch and the
reader make serviceability exceptionally easy. Multi-sided con-
duit connections a full length electrical box and heavy duty mount-
ing feet helps to cut down on system installation costs. The com-
pany’s supplied antennas are tuned to leverage the specific shape
and metal composition of the frame thus providing superior per-
formance over other antenna configurations and brands.

Description
M/A-COM Technology Solutions’ MAAN-000199-AT0000 is a
mono-static RFID antenna for most European applications. Low
axial ratio (< 1.5 dB) and broad beamwidth (66°) increase read
range for all tag types and orientations while low VSWR (1.25:1)
keeps reflected power to a minimum to increase read rates. The
antenna’s light weight (0.363 kg) and small footprint (22.3 cm x
22.3 cm x 2.54 cm) are ideal for all RFID applications.
