									                     Clip-N-Save: How to Reach
Your State and City Elected Representatives
Here's a guide to express your views in Albany and City Hall. We'll only get supportive policies and
adequate funding if we all express ourselves clearly and consistently. The State and City cannot
close multi-billion dollar budget deficits by slashing funding to public education! NYC's public
schools have been chronically underfunded for years, but NYC parents sued and won a huge victory
in the Campaign for Fiscal Equity (CFE) lawsuit. After 15 years of litigation in the Courts, an
agreement was finally achieved to dramatically increase education funding to NYC. See for the history and full details of this lawsuit. It is unacceptable that State and City
officials seek to CUT education funding. Now is the time to fulfill the CFE commitment, demand no
cuts to education by the State and City.
