NO. 111111 THE STATE OF TEXAS vs. JEAN VALJEAN § § § § § IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS 999TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT DEFENDANT'S MOTION TO TRANSFER PLEADINGS AND COURT REPORTER'S NOTES TO THE HONORABLE JUDGE OF SAID COURT: NOW COMES YOUR DEFENDANT, JEAN VALJEAN, and files his Motion to Transfer Pleadings and Reporter's Notes, and would show unto the Court: I. Defendant was originally indicted in Cause No. 000000. Defendant has filed pleadings with the clerk of the Court under such cause number. II. Defendant has subsequently been reindicted in the captioned cause. Defendant requests that the Court order the clerk to transfer all Defendant's pleadings and the Court's rulings thereon (where applicable) to the file of the instant cause. III. Defendant further requests the Court to order the Court Reporter to transfer any notes made in the original cause to the instant cause. IV. Defendant would show that this request is necessary in order to save the Court from considering matters it has already ruled upon, and to save Defendant's attorney and the clerk of the court from needless duplication of effort. WHEREFORE, PREMISES CONSIDERED, Defendant prays that the Court order the clerk to transfer all pleadings, and the Court's rulings thereon, if any, to the file of the instant cause and be considered as if originally filed therein, and made a part of the record thereof; and that the Court Reporter transfer any notes made in the original cause to the instant cause.
