WHERE:
Resurrection Lutheran Church
6170 Plank Road (Route 3), Fredericksburg
10 minutes West of Interstate 95

WHEN:
DROP OFF: Thursday, March 18th 9AM-1PM and 6PM-9PM
          Friday, March 19th 9AM-1PM
VOLUNTEER PRE-SALE: Friday, March 19th 6PM-9PM
CONSIGNOR PRE-SALE: Friday, March 19th 7PM-9PM
PICK UP: Saturday, March 20th 2PM-4PM

DETAILS:
  1. Contact Carrol Martin at sale@resurrectionpeople.org to register and be assigned a seller
     number. In your email, please provide name, mailing address, contact number, how you
     heard about the sale, and indicate if you would like to volunteer to help out with the sale
     (tasks and shifts listed below, page 2).

   2. Sellers can choose their proceeds amount = 70% to seller / 30% sale, 50% to seller /
      50% to sale, or 100% to the sale. You can indicate your desired proceed amount when you
      sign in at drop off.

   3. If you wish to donate 100% of proceeds to the sale, you will still need to register, obtain
      a seller number, and tag your items. ALL ITEMS MUST BE TAGGED. We cannot accept
      donated items that do not have tags.

   4. We will have racks this year! However, since we cannot anticipate how many items we will
      receive, rack space will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please use your own
      hangers. Hangers will not be returned on items that are sold.

   5. Using the tags provided (page 4), fill out size/description, seller number and price in
      $0.25 increments for each item. (make as many copies of the tags as needed)

   6. On each tag circle R for RETURN if you wish to have your item returned to you if it does
      not sell or a D for DONATE if you wish to have your item donated to a local charity if it
      does not sell.

   7. Secure the price tag with one safety pin to each item or tape it, if necessary. If you tape
      tags to merchandise please use tape only at the top. Tags MUST be removable. These
      tags are how we reimburse you. We are not responsible for any lost, untagged items, or
      items that tags have fallen off.

   8. Bring all items to the Resurrection Lutheran Church Thursday, March 18th 9AM-1PM
      or 6PM-9PM and Friday, March 19th between 9AM-1PM. Upon arrival, we will
      confirm your contact information, have you sign in, and then you can set your items up in
      the appropriate areas.

   9. Bring two self addressed stamped envelopes with your seller number next to your
      name in order to receive your check within 2-4 weeks.

   10. If you are picking up your unsold items, you must return to the church on Saturday,
       March 20th between 2-4PM otherwise all items will be assumed donated and taken to local
       charities.

   11. If you would like to volunteer, let us know when you email to register. Volunteers will
       be able to shop early at the Pre-Sale Friday, March 19th 6PM-9PM.
          a. Volunteer Tasks = distributing flyers/other advertising, set up, helping out during
             the sale, clean up, or taking donations to local charities after the sale,
          b. Volunteer Shifts = TBA

WHAT TO SELL: *All items must be in good condition*

Toys/Games

Maternity clothes
Nursing gear
Bedding/Blankets
Books
DVDs/VHS
Car seats/ Booster seats (less than six years old)

*Please no personal items such as teething rings, pacifiers, rattles, stuffed animals etc.

*All individual items must be tagged or bagged (no boxes of loose items)

Clothing and Accessories (SPRING & SUMMER ONLY) – Please check for stains, holes,
missing buttons, and broken zippers. We will accept sizes from NB to Junior. Shoes must be
attached together or placed in a baggie. Small items such as socks should also be placed in a
baggie.
Toys/Games – Toys should include all parts and be in working order. All battery operated toys
must have working batteries so that buyers can test the toys. Small toys tend to sell better in
grouped bags (i.e., five matchbox cars in one bag for $1). Puzzles should be wrapped in saran
wrap to secure pieces.

Furniture/Cribs/Pack ‘N Plays – Sellers should look up the cribs and play yards to ensure there
are no recalls on them. Items should be fully assembled.

Baby/Kid’s Gear – Anything and everything baby including strollers, swings, and carriers.

Maternity Clothes – Remember, seasonable items sell best. Please check for stains, holes,
missing buttons, and broken zippers.

Nursing Gear – We cannot sell the electronic breast pumps due to health codes. (Apparently
they have parts that cannot be washed and this makes it unsanitary to reuse.) We CAN sell the
manual pumps and other gear like cover ups, pillows, etc.

Car Seats – We will not accept car seats that have “expired” or been involved in an accident.
The expiration of car seats is typically six years from the manufacturing date. All car seats
include the manufacturing date that can be found on the label at the bottom of the seat.
Sellers will be asked to sign a statement agreeing to these conditions.

Bedding and Blankets – Put them in clear bags by set and label each bag with the contents and
price.
