									AIM OF THIS PROGRAMME

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
                   SPM + At least 4 years working experiences *
                                         Or
            SPM + Recognized Certificate + 2 years working experiences *
                                         Or
              SPM + Recognized Diploma + 1 year working experience *
                                         Or
              SPM + PCP Certificate + 6 months Working Experience **

 * AGE SHOULD BE MORE THAN 21 YEARS within next 6 months.

** Students aged 20 years and below, must have SPM qualifications and should have completed a relevant certificate
   program. Students must also have a minimum of 6 months work experience prior to commencement of study.

Space UTM – Executive Diploma Programs
SPACE UTM Executive Program is learning and training program which are made
specifically for professional worker. These program are also well tailored for those who want
to enhance their knowledge and skills in the offered field. SPACE UTM has over 65
executive program collaborated with our smart partner. The duration for this program is
between 12 to 15 months.

Students to Know
Students must follow the rules and regulation governed by the
management of Space UTM and KUKL during the studies.

The program is provided specifically for those who wish to enhanced
their knowledge and competency.

The program is not recognized by the Public Service Department
(PSD) for any appointment or upgrading purpose in the public service.

The certificate is not listed as a qualification for entry to first year
degree / diploma program at Local Public Institute or Higher Learning.

The Space UTM has the right to withdraw or terminate the student,
should the information or statement given in the application are false.

DEFERMENT PROCEDURES
1. Before Course Starts
  –   Write in a letter with explanation(s)
  –   Indicate when u wish to start the course
  –   Maximum deferment 6 months




2. After course commence
  –   Fill in the deferment application form
  –   Make the payment of RM120.00 per module to cashier
  –   Maximum deferment two semester (4 months)

  –   Make the payment of RM 500.00 to cashier
  –   Send the form to KU office

  –   Write in a letter & submit to KU office
ASSESSMENTS
Assignment
•    Will be posted on Graduate School Web site in 2nd class .
•    Assignments must submit to KUKL Office according to the timeline
•    Students can discuss with the lecturer on the subject matter before the
     submission date.
Project Report
•     Discussion of the topic
•     Its all about brain storming
•     Presentation of the topic
•     To analyze the case
•     Individual will be submit according to the timeline
Final Examination
•     Closed book written examination for three hours
WORK BASE PROJECT
Each specialization (except edHM) will contain one Work Based Project with
word limitations of usually between 4000 - 4500 words. Normally the expected
presentation of reports should be structured as outlined in Table below.
RE-SIT PROCEDURE
Re-Sit
• Re-sit the examination or resubmit the module assignment / project
• Must fill the re-sit registration with the payment of RM 120


Failure to submit Assignment

     Failure to submit the required course work within two weeks of the
     due date, without prior authorization by the Course Leader, may be
     interpreted as failure in that element of assessment.
GRADING SYSTEM
 Completion of the full requirements will lead to the award title
  “ EXECUTIVE DIPLOMA” in the studies specialization awarded by
  UTM – SPACE

   Classifications to the award are :
-   Distinction             : 70% or above aggregate
-   Credit                  : 60% - 69% aggregate
-   Pass                    : 40% - 59% aggregate
-   Fail                    : 39% & Below

 Final award based on aggregate average of all module
  performance.

 Plagiarism = 0%
COMPENSATION PASS
Where a participant marginally fails one module the Board of Examiners
may exceptionally exercise its discretion and compensate the failure. The
Board of Examiners is authorized to allow compensation in a module only
provided

    • Mark for the module to be compensated is normally not less than
      35%

    • It should be justified by an appraisal of the participant’s overall
      performance on the programme to date.
ILLNESS AND WITHDRAWAL
ILLNESS

The Board of Examiners may agree to set aside the results of the
assessment affected by these circumstances and, the participant may
be offered the opportunity to retake the assessment on the next
available occasion, as if for the first time


WITHDRAWAL

Where a participant's performance, conduct or attendance indicates
that they are unlikely to complete the course on which they are
engaged, the Board of Examiners may require the participant to
withdraw from the programme.

    the field / subject they teach
  - At least a degree holder
  - Conduct consultation and classes every
    week with all the students .

EPF WITHDRAWAL
 Students must make sure to choose EPF withdrawal when
  applying for the course
 SPACE – UTM prepare all necessary documents and send to
  KUKL
 KUKL will pass the letters to the students
 Student will bring the documents to EPF office and fill in the
  withdrawal form; submit all the documents (Always have a
  copy for your own reference!)
 Upon submission ask EPF for acknowledgement and copy of
  acknowledgement must be submitted to KUKL OFFICE.
 Students to follow-up closely with EPF after 2 weeks for the
  payment.
