Dear WFPS Parents,
We are very excited to announce that we have booked a date for our
Fundraising Auction Event! It will be held on Saturday, March 6th from 7:00
PM - 11:00 PM at The Beach House in North Falmouth. This is the second and
last MANDATORY fundraiser required for our currently enrolled families to
Please SAVE THE DATE of March 6th in your calendars! We will have a room set
aside for all of us to socialize and have fun together while bidding on
silent auction items. The Beach House is well known as a great place to
gather and socialize, and there will be a live band playing that night, SLOW
CHILDREN, who is locally known and will provide some great entertainment.
Viewing of auction items will begin at 7, bidding will begin at 8, and the
band starts to play at 10. Although the bidding and auction will close by
10:30, the Beach House is open until well after midnight with the live
entertainment for all of you night owls!
Tickets will cost $20 if you purchase in advance, and will cost $25 at the
door. There will be a spectacular door prize raffle, (prize to be announced)
that will be given away that night to one lucky person. In order to be
entered in the special drawing the only requirement is to purchase a ticket
to the event and be present that evening.
This fundraiser is a mandatory event for all WFPS families. The requirement
of a $100 donation will be accepted if you are unable to attend on that
evening. Please contact Barbara Meloni directly if you are unable to attend.
We are fortunate to have such a committed group of parents at our school. We
all joined West Falmouth Preschool knowing of the unique sense of community
that is shared by those who want only the best for their children, and the
Fundraising Committee is glad to offer this evening not only as a fundraiser
for our school, but as an opportunity to share with each other a night out
without the pressures of drop off and pick up or of parent meetings. This
will be a fun night to further existing friendships and to finally introduce
yourself to the other parents you see in the parking lot all the time but
never have the chance to talk to.
This event is open to the public and anyone who wants to can purchase a
ticket to the event. We encourage you invite your friends, neighbors and
others who would enjoy a night out while supporting a great cause. Please
invite as many as you can, because the more people that attend, the more
benefit to the school and the children.
Please RSVP to Nancy Sawyer at email@example.com to let us know how
many are coming. Once tickets are printed up they will be available at the
school for purchase. Again, if you are unable to attend, please contact
Barbara Meloni directly and she will be glad to accept your mandatory
donation of $100.
