Hire rates for United Vehicle Rentals are calculated on a daily basis. The day of Pick Up is counted as Day 1 and the day of Drop Off is the last day

Minimum Hire Period
For all rentals there is a minimum hire period of seven (7) days except for all vehicle pick ups between 20 December and 02 January where the minimum
hire period will be fourteen (14) days.
For one way hires between Christchurch and Auckland or vice versa the minimum hire period is fourteen (14) days at all times.
One Way Hires
One way hires at no additional cost are possible between Auckland and Christchurch and vice versa providing the rental period is a minimum of 14 days.

United now has GPS Navigation Systems available for hire at a cost of NZ$5.00 per day with a maximum cost of NZ$200 per hire. A NZ$100 excess
