The New Year and our church prelaunch
program has started with Pastor Cristi‟s MESSAGE by Pastor Cristian E. Preda

series on “P.U.R.S.U.E.”ing God. * * * * * * * * * *

                                               SERMON NOTES:
The cornerstone of the prelaunch is our
Revised New Members Classes. The
lessons are designed to move people from
being attenders to being members. If you
want to be a part of the team and a member
of the church you must go through the
classes. Several of us went through all four
classes yesterday and others started the
series this morning. At this point if you
have not taken the classes the only
available time to take the entire series is
Saturday, January 22 from 1pm to 5pm. If
you wish to take the classes but are not
available for that date, please speak to
Pastor Cristi.

        Thank you and God bless!
 PLEASE PARDON

                      ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) Pastor Bob is beginning a new series today entitled, “THE END OF THE
BEGINNING.” It will be about how God takes us from where we are to where
He promises we are going.
2) We are in the midst of our PRELAUNCH PROGRAM FOR CHRIST
ALIVE CHURCH on Easter Sunday, 2011. The first step was the New
Members Classes which most of us have now gone through. There will be one
more three hour New Members Class after the Sunday service today. If you
have not gone through the classes it is imperative that you do so. After the
classes are completed we will schedule a Congregational Meeting to discuss
the relaunch, our vision, our finances and to introduce a series of teachings on
evangelism called “The Way of the Master.” More information will be
forthcoming.
3) Don‟t forget our monthly WINTER SOUP SALE after the service today.
4) The CHURCH BUILDING PROGRAM is rapidly moving forward. As
with any building its age the work never ends. In addition to all the baseboard
and ceiling molding work, we are planning to replace the carpeting and to
purchase a new sign. If you would like to help place your offering in the box at
the back of the building and mark it “Building Fund.”
5) Our FOOD PANTRY greatly needs your help and donations. If you would
like to get involved with the food pantry ministry please contact Pastor Cristi or
Joanne Kassebaum. You may contribute any amount of time you would like,
but you must be on the work schedule to help. The schedule for 2011 is on the
counter in the back of the church. The next food pantry is this coming
Saturday. Workers are needed from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
6) Pastor Cristi‟s regular OFFICE HOURS are: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday,
10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Wednesday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am
to 2:00 pm. Pastor Cristi may not be in the building all these hours because he
is often visiting people and he sometimes takes important calls and meetings
from home. If you wish to meet with him it is usually a good idea to call
ahead. Pastor Bob is available by appointment.

                             ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) Pastor Bob is continuing his series today entitled, “THE END OF THE
BEGINNING.” It is about faith and how God takes us from where we are to
where He promises we are going.
2) We are in the midst of our PRELAUNCH PROGRAM FOR CHRIST
ALIVE CHURCH on April 24, Easter Sunday 2011. The first step was the
New Members Classes which most of us have now gone through. We have
scheduled a Congregational Meeting to discuss the relaunch, our vision, our
finances, to introduce a series of teachings on evangelism called “The Way of
the Master” and more. It will be at 8:00 pm on this coming Wednesday. It is
imperative that you make every effort to attend.
3) Saddleback Church is hosting an awesome conference called RADICALIS
this week from Tuesday to Friday. Our church will subscribe to the webcast.
If you are available during the day, you will be blessed if you can attend. The
sessions are from 8:00am to 5:30pm with lunch from 12:30 to 2:00pm.
4) The CHURCH BUILDING PROGRAM is rapidly moving forward. As
with any building its age the work never ends. In addition to all the baseboard
and ceiling molding work, we are planning to replace the carpeting and to
purchase a new sign. All offerings are greatly needed and appreciated.

                                ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) Pastor Bob is continuing his series today entitled, “THE END OF THE
BEGINNING.” It is about faith and how God takes us from where we are to
where He promises we are going.
2) We are in the midst of our PRELAUNCH PROGRAM FOR CHRIST
ALIVE CHURCH on April 24, Easter Sunday 2011. The next step is an eight
week series of teachings on evangelism called “The Way of the Master” which
started this morning at 9:00 am. Please continue to fervently pray for the
relaunch. If you have not given us the names of people you are praying for
please write them down and put the list in the offering box today and keep a
copy for yourself. Post it where you will see it and remember to pray daily.
3) The CHURCH BUILDING PROGRAM is rapidly moving forward. The
Boy Scouts worked all day yesterday to install and paint the crown and
baseboard molding as well as many other jobs. We plan to finish today‟s
service by noon to allow them to complete their work. After that the only big
job left will be the carpeting which we are planning to have installed the week
after the March covered dish. We plan to remove the old carpet ourselves
during the week and for the carpet to be installed on Thursday, March 31.
4) Our FOOD PANTRY greatly needs your help and donations. If you would
like to get involved with the food pantry ministry please contact Pastor Cristi or
Joanne Kassebaum. You may contribute any amount of time you would like,
but you must be on the work schedule to help. The next food pantry is this
coming Saturday.

                             ANNOUNCEMENTS

1) “Holy Week” starts today and we have a lot to do as we prepare for
Easter Sunday and the launching of Christ Alive Church. Over the last
several months most of us are aware of the improvements we have made to
the building, but just as much has been happening behind the scenes:
 We have developed a new logo based on L3 – Loving, Learning,
Living. This is part of a larger process called branding. Branding is
essentially using the logo to identifying ourselves and our values to
the community. You will be seeing the logo on our new bulletin
shells, stationery, business cards, welcome packets and more.
                                                                                  
                                                                                  
