•   6 period day with a quarter grading system
•   53 minute classes
•   12 minute advisory including the Central Morning News
•   30 minute lunch
•   5 minutes passing time
•   4 quarters = year (one credit per class)
•   4 core classes: English , Math, Science and Social Studies
•   World language/Music/or Study Hall

• AVID is an academic, regularly scheduled
  elective class based on: writing as a tool of
  learning, inquiry method, and collaborative
