   BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

   The Fund Derivatives Middle Office (FDMO) is an expanding team of 12 responsible for supporting both the Fund Derivatives
   Trading Desk in London and Fund Derivatives Structuring across the globe.

   The Fund Derivatives business has a global mandate to launch Managed Accounts and UCIT platforms and create structured
   products in the form of SPV notes that are linked to the performance of these platforms.

   FDMO play a pivotal role from the inception of a new structure, right through to the settlement of the first issue and the subsequent
   maintenance of the expanding live portfolio.

   FDMO sits within structured CD & EQ Operations and are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with both internal
   departments, including Legal, Credit, Operations, Controllers, Risk, & Technology and external service providers such as Fund
   Administrators, Custodians, Fund Managers and Prime Brokers to ensure the efficient, timely and controlled processing of Fund
   Derivative business.

   FDMO has undergone rapid expansion over the past 3 years in response to significant increases in trade volumes, the increasing
   complexity of new structures and the growth of the Managed Account and UCITS Platforms.

   RESPONSIBILITIES

             Liaise with Investment Managers, Prime Brokers and Fund Administrators
             Monitor and process all fees, coupons and other interim cash flows relating to complex Fund Derivative Structures
             Record issues and incidents relating and co-ordinate resolution
             Act as an intermediary and liaise with Trading, Structuring, Legal, Operations and external providers
             Assist with the development of both Tactical and Strategic IT solutions for Fund Derivatives processing
             Pro-actively look to enhance the levels of control, efficiency and performance within the department
             Process all new trades through both existing and new structures, from launch up to issue date

   Main Deliverables

   The City Fellow will work within the trade support team of FDMO where they will liaise daily with external service providers as well
   as a number of internal Goldman groups including settlements, drafting, operations management, Trading, Structuring and IT.

   The key deliverables within the first 6 months will be to gain an in-depth understanding of the products supported, systems used,
   trade booking processes and daily controls. Thereafter the City Fellow will be expected to look at how to improve control and
   efficiency across team functions and take the lead on a mixture of small projects and process improvements.


   Fund Derivatives is a fast pasted dynamic business requiring a confident individual able to demonstrate a proactive approach to
   identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes and articulate the steps required to achieve this. The complexity of
   the products traded gives the individual excellent opportunities to rapidly expand their business and product knowledge while
   gaining exposure to a variety of different products and systems.

   SKILLS / EXPERIENCE


   MANDATORY
      Confident when dealing with demanding business people and ability to work in a fast paced environment
      Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to keep track of a large and varied workload
      Proven track record of delivery and meeting deadlines both in day-to-day processing and projects
      Proactive approach to identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes
      A strong understanding of the control environment and a pro-active approach to minimizing operational risk
      A proven track record of improving processes, coordinating multiple tasks and strong teamwork
      While an understanding of derivatives and specifically funds is an advantage but is not mandatory


   PREFERRED

         Prior experience in processing Fund Derivatives, managed Accounts or performing a Fund Accountant role
