A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF NORTH BEND, WASHINGTON, SPONSORING THE SI VIEW METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT’S REQUEST TO JOIN THE ASSOCIATION OF WASHINGTON CITIES EMPLOYEE BENEFITS TRUST
WHEREAS, the City of North Bend is a member of the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Employee Benefits Trust; and WHEREAS, the Si View Metropolitan Park District will provide services to the citizens of the City of North Bend; and WHEREAS, the Si View Metropolitan Park District would like to participate in the AWC Employee Benefits Trust as a non-city entity; and WHEREAS, the AWC Board of Trustees requires that a member city sponsor a non-city entity’s request before the non-city entity can participate in the AWC Employee Benefits Trust program, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH BEND, WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council for the City of North Bend hereby sponsors the Si View Metropolitan Park District’s application to join the AWC Employee Benefits Trust as a non-city entity, and the City of North Bend requests that the Si View Metropolitan Park District be allowed membership into the AWC Employee Benefits Trust. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH BEND, WASHINGTON, AT A REGULAR MEETING THEREOF, THIS 3RD DAY OF MAY, 2005.
