1. Collection Selection and Fees

The Licensee accepts that it must pay to JSTOR the total sum of the collections selected by the Licensee
below in accordance with the applicable JISC Collections charging band and discounts as set out in the
Offer. All prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be payable where applicable. A list of the journals
currently in the collections is available at <http://about.jstor.org/content-collections>.

** Please note that the participation fees for African Plants, African Cultural Heritage Sites and
Landscapes, and Struggles for Freedom in Southern Africa are based on the number of collection in
which the institution participates. Please see the chart below to determine the appropriate participation
fees for any of these collections.

3. Payment Terms

JSTOR will begin invoicing the Licensee directly and on an annual basis as of 1 August 2007 and all
invoices will be payable directly to JSTOR rather than through the JISC. All invoices will be payable to
JSTOR in Pounds Sterling and shall be due and payable 45 days after the receipt by the Institution. All
invoices paid electronically (wire transfer, credit card) will have no processing fee. Because of fees that
are charged to JSTOR by our financial institution for handling these transactions, any invoices paid by
check will incur a ₤30 fee.

All payments provided for in this Licence shall be made such that after deduction for any taxes,
assessments or charges levied, assessed or imposed which the Institution, JSTOR or any other party
shall be required to pay or withhold in respect to or calculated with reference to such amount, the
remainder actually received by, and due and payable to JSTOR shall be the amounts specified in this
Licence.

2. Discounts in Effect

   Arts & Sciences I Collection:

      Existing Arts & Sciences I participants will receive the following discounts:

          A 50% discount on the Business I Collection fee.
          A 30% discount on the Language & Literature Collection fee.
          A 20% discount on the Arts & Sciences II Collection, Health & General
           Science Collection and Ecology & Botany Collection fee.
          A 74% discount on the Mathematics & Statistics Collection fee.
          A 10% discount on the Biological Sciences Collection fee.

   Arts & Sciences II Collection:

      Existing Arts & Sciences II participants will receive the following discounts:

          A 6% discount on the Mathematics & Statistics Collection fee.
          A 10% discount on the Business I Collection fee.

   Arts & Sciences III Collection:

   Existing Arts & Sciences III participants will receive the following discounts:

          A 75% discount on the Language & Literature Collection.

      Institutions licensing the Arts & Sciences III Collection will pay the fees outlined in the table
      above except in the following instances:

      Participants of the Arts & Sciences I and Language & Literature Collections will pay the Arts &
      Sciences III fee noted in the table above less the Language & Literature Collection fee already
      paid for the current billing period.. The Language & Literature Collection fee will be removed
      from the next billing period.


      Music Collection participants will pay the Arts & Sciences III Collection fee noted in the table
      above less the Music Collection fee already paid for the current billing period. The Music
      Collection fee will be removed from the next billing period.

   Arts & Sciences IV Collection:

      Participants of the Arts & Sciences IV Collection will pay the fees outlined in the table above
      except in the following instances:

          Business I Collection participants licensing the Arts & Sciences IV Collection will pay the
          Arts & Sciences IV fee noted in the table above. The Business I Collection fee will then be
          reduced to 60% beginning the next billing period to account for the journal titles still
          available in the Business I Collection but not the Arts & Sciences IV Collection.

          Business I and Arts & Sciences I participants licensing the Arts & Sciences IV Collection
          will pay the Arts & Sciences IV fee noted in the table above. The Business I Collection fee
          then will be reduced to 10% beginning the next billing period to account for the journal
          titles still available in the Business I Collection but not the Arts & Sciences I or Arts &
          Sciences IV Collection.

          Business I and Arts & Sciences II participants licensing the Arts & Sciences IV Collection

      will pay the Arts & Sciences IV fee noted in the table above. The Business I Collection fee
      will then be reduced to 50% beginning the next billing period to account for the journal
      titles still available in the Business I Collection but not the Arts & Sciences II or Arts &
      Sciences IV Collections.

      Business I, Arts & Sciences I and Arts & Sciences II participants licensing the Arts &
      Sciences IV Collection will pay the Arts & Sciences IV fee noted in the table above less the
      Business I fee already paid for the current billing period. The Business I Collection fee will
      then be removed from the next billing period since all Business I titles will now be
      accessible via the Arts & Sciences I, II and IV Collections.


Arts & Sciences V Collection*:

   Institutions licensing the Arts & Sciences V Collection will pay the fees outlined in the table
   above except in the following instances, while the collection is being built:
    In 2009/10, participants of the Arts & Sciences V Collection will receive a 40% discount on
       the full base fee.
    Beginning with 2010/11, the full base fee will be invoiced.

   *Please note that the annual invoice for this collection will reflect an additional discount,
   independent from the % Discount for Collection Overlap (noted in Schedule 1 above), in
   recognition of the fact and during such time this collection is not yet complete.


Arts & Sciences VI Collection*:

   Participants of the Arts & Sciences VI Collection will pay the fees outlined in the table above
   except in the following instances:

      Business II Collection participants licensing the Arts & Sciences VI Collection will pay the
      Arts & Sciences VI fee noted in the table above. The Business II Collection fee will then
      be reduced to 50%* of the full base fee beginning the next billing period to account for
      the journal titles still available in the Business II Collection but not the Arts & Sciences VI
      Collection.

      Business II and Arts & Sciences IV participants licensing the Arts & Sciences VI Collection
      will pay the Arts & Sciences VI fee noted in the table above. The Business II Collection fee
      will then be reduced to 40%* of the full base fee beginning the next billing period to
      account for the journal titles still available in the Business II Collection but not the Arts &
      Sciences IV or Arts & Sciences VI Collection.

      Business II and Arts & Sciences Complement participants licensing the Arts & Sciences VI
      Collection will pay the Arts & Sciences VI fee noted in the table above. The Business II
      Collection fee will then be reduced to 10%* of the full base fee beginning the next billing
      period to account for the journal titles still available in the Business II Collection but not
      the Arts & Sciences Complement or Arts & Sciences VI Collections.

      Business II, Arts & Sciences IV and Arts & Sciences Complement participants licensing the
      Arts & Sciences VI Collection will pay the Arts & Sciences VI fee noted in the table above.
      The Business II Collection fee will then be removed from the next billing period since all
      Business II titles will now be accessible via the Arts & Sciences IV, IV and the
      Complement.

   Institutions licensing the Arts & Sciences VI Collection will pay the fees outlined in the table
   above except in the following instances, while the collection is being built:

            In 2008/9 and 2009/10, participants of the Arts & Sciences VI Collection will receive a
             70% discount on the full base fee.
            In 2010/11, participants of the Arts & Sciences VI Collection will receive a 40% discount
             on the full base fee.
            Beginning with 2011/12, the full base fee will be invoiced.

         *Please note that the annual invoice for this collection will reflect an additional discount,
         independent from the % Discount for Collection Overlap (noted in Schedule 1 above), in
         recognition of the fact and during such time this collection is not yet complete.


      Arts & Sciences VII:

         Institutions must license at least one Arts & Sciences Collection to be eligible for participation
         in the Arts & Sciences VII. Institutions licensing the Arts & Sciences VII in combination with
         ANY two or more Arts & Sciences Collections will receive the following discounts:

             One Arts & Sciences Collection: no discount.
             Any two (2) Arts & Sciences Collections: 15% discount on the Arts
              & Sciences VII fee.
             Any three (3) Arts & Sciences Collections: 30% discount on the
              Arts & Sciences VII fee.
             All four (4) Arts & Sciences Collections: 50% discount on the Arts &
              Sciences VII fee.

      Arts & Sciences VIII:

         Institutions licensing the Arts & Sciences VIII Collection will pay the fees outlined in the table
         above except in the following instances, while the collection is being built:
          In 2009/10, participants of the Arts & Sciences VIII Collection will receive an 80%
             discount on the full base fee.
          In 2010/11, participants of the Arts & Sciences VIII Collection will receive a 30% discount
             on the full base fee.
          Beginning with 2011/12, the full base fee will be invoiced.

         *Please note that the annual invoice for this collection will reflect an additional discount,
         independent from the % Discount for Collection Overlap (noted in Schedule 1 above), in
         recognition of the fact and during such time this collection is not yet complete.

Arts & Sciences VIII:

         Institutions licensing the Arts & Sciences IX Collection will pay the fees outlined in the table
         above except in the following instances, while the collection is being built:
          In 2010/11, participants of the Arts & Sciences IX Collection will receive an 80% discount
             on the full base fee.
          In 2011/12, participants of the Arts & Sciences IX Collection will receive a 30% discount
             on the full base fee.
          Beginning with 2012/13, the full base fee will be invoiced.

         *Please note that the annual invoice for this collection will reflect an additional discount,
         independent from the % Discount for Collection Overlap (noted in Schedule 1 above), in
         recognition of the fact and during such time this collection is not yet complete.


      Life Sciences Collection:




                                                    7
   Institutions may license the Life Sciences Collection on its own, or with any combination of
   collections. The Life Sciences Collection is a combination of the Biological Sciences Collection
   and the Health & General Sciences Collection.

      Biological Sciences participants adding the Life Sciences Collection will pay the fees noted
        in the table above. The Biological Sciences fee will then be removed from the next billing
        period since all Biological Sciences titles will now be accessible via the Life Sciences
        Collection.

      Health & General Sciences participants adding the Life Sciences Collection will pay the fees
       noted in the table above. The Health & General Sciences fee will then be removed from
       the next billing period since all Health & General Sciences titles will now be accessible
       via the Life Sciences Collection.

      Ecology & Botany participants adding the Life Sciences Collection will pay the fees noted in
        the table above. The Ecology & Botany fee will then be removed from the next billing
        period since all Ecology & Botany titles will now be accessible via the Life Sciences
        Collection. Please note that the Ecology & Botany Collection is completely contained
        within the Biological Sciences (and Life Sciences) Collections.



Biological Sciences Collection:

   Institutions may license the Biological Sciences Collection on its own, or with any combination
   of collections. Institutions currently participating in the Arts & Sciences I Collection and/ or
   Ecology & Botany Collection will receive a 10% discount to account for the overlap in journal
   titles.

      Arts & Sciences I Collection: 10% discount.
      Arts & Sciences I Collection and Ecology & Botany Collection: 10%
       Discount.
      Ecology & Botany participants adding the Biological Sciences
        Collection will pay the fees noted in the table above. The Ecology & Botany fee will then
        be removed from the next billing period since all Ecology & Botany titles will now be
        accessible via the Biological Sciences Collection.

Business II*

   Institutions may license the Business II Collection on its own, or with any combination of
   collections. Institutions currently participating in the Arts & Sciences IV Collection will receive
   a 10% discount to account for the overlap in journal titles.

   Institutions currently participating in the Arts & Sciences Complement Collection will receive a
   30% discount to account for the overlap in journal titles.

   Institutions currently participating in the Arts & Sciences IV Collection and Arts & Sciences
   Complement Collection will receive a 40% discount to account for the overlap in journal titles.

   Institutions currently participating in the Arts & Sciences VI Collection will receive a 40%
   discount to account for the overlap in journal titles.

Business III*

   Institutions licensing the Business III Collection will pay the fees outlined in the table above
   except in the following instances, while the collection is being built:

              In 2009/10, participants of the Business III Collection will receive a 60% discount on the
               full base fee.
              In 2010/11, participants of the Business III Collection will receive a 60% discount on the
               full base fee.
              In 2011/12, participants of the Business III Collection will receive a 20% discount on the
               full base fee.
              Beginning with 2012/13, the full base fee will be invoiced.

           *Please note that the annual invoice for this collection will reflect an additional discount,
           independent from the % Discount for Collection Overlap (noted in Schedule 1 above), in
           recognition of the fact and during such time this collection is not yet complete.

All prices are exclusive of VAT.

In the event that at any time during the term of this Agreement JSTOR agrees to make the Product
available to any Institution for a lower fee than the fee calculated for such Institution in this Schedule
(except in cases of force majeur or any other special circumstances as so deemed by JSTOR in its sole
discretion), the fee payable by an Subscribing Institution in the same band as set out in this Offer shall
be varied to such lower fee and JSTOR agrees to repay each Subscribing Institution in the same JISC
band, as the Institution to which the offer was made, the difference between the fee calculated for such
Subscribing Institution in this Schedule and the lower fee for each year of the term of the Licence signed
between JSTOR and such Subscribing Institution.



3. Licence Processing

   Institutions wishing to participate in JSTOR shall send two signed copies of the License to the
   following address. JSTOR will then counter-sign the Licence and return one copy to the Institution
   for its records. JSTOR will invoice the institutions directly as set forth in the Licence.
