					                    Prof. Vijendrakumar Narendraprasad Shukla is director(special
                    applications) and Professor in the C-DAC Noida heading Speech &
                    Natural Language Processing lab. During his 28 years of experience
                    he served various academic institutions linked with University of
                    Pune,   Marathwada         University,   University   of   Bombay   and
I.I.T.Roorkee. He received his M. Tech. (Computer Science & Technology) from
University of Roorkee. He has a number of research publications at International and
National level to his credit. He is a member of various professional bodies like IETE,
IEEE, ISTE. He was Manager W3C India office. He worked as a Convener of the
National Committee on Technology Development in Indian Languages (TDIL) set up by
the Department of Information Technology, Government of India. He was conferred the
1st IETE-Brig M L Anand Award for his outstanding contribution in the field of
Language Technology. His teaching and research subjects include Digital library and
Archiving, Data Mining, Formal Computing, Software Engineering, Object Oriented
Software Engineering, Multilingual Computing, Geomatics, e-governance & Open
Source Technology.

                     Karunesh Arora is Sr. Project Manager with C-DAC, Noida. He has
                     been working in the field of Speech and Language Processing for
                     last 15 years. He has worked in the areas of Machine Translation,
                     Parallel Corpus development, Cross Lingual Information retrieval
                     and Speech database development for Indian languages. He has
published more than 25 international and national research papers. He has executed
various national and international projects.

                  Paras Nath Barwal (Sr. Project Manager) received his M.Tech. (Comp.
                 Sc.) from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in 1998. He has a total
                 12 ½ years of experience in Large Scale of Application Development
                 & Implementation & e-Governance applications using J2EE, Oracle
                 10g, 9i/8i on UnixWare, SQL Server 2K, Visual Basic 6.0, D2K, IBM
Web sphere 6.1 Application server as well as open source enjoinment. He has good
knowledge of various domains like Telecom Health care, Patent & Design, Personnel &
establishment, Financial & Accounting, Banking, Document Management, Material
Management, Land Management etc. He has successfully designed, developed &
implemented more than 25 e-governance projects taken by C-DAC Noida from Govt.
sectors. Recently he has successfully implemented one international e-governance Project
“RTC implementation at Lao PDR” under Lao PDR & India Bilateral cooperation.

                  Sunita Arora is Project Manager with C-DAC, Noida. She has been
                  working in the field of Speech and Language Processing for last 13
                  years. She has worked in the areas of Machine Translation, Parallel
                  Corpus development, Information retrieval, Parts of Speech Tagging
                  and Speech database development for Indian languages. She has
published more than 22 international and national research papers. She has guided several
Graduate and Post-Graduate students.

                    Gour Mohan is Sr. Project Engineer with C-DAC, Noida. He has
                    been working in the field of Speech and Language Processing for last
                    8 years. He has worked in the areas of Machine Translation, Parallel
                    Corpus development, Information retrieval, Digital Library and
                    Speech database development for Indian languages. He has
published 6 international/national research papers.

                    Vineet Kumar Birla is Project Engineer with C-DAC, Noida. He did
                    his B.Tech in computer science & information technology with 1st
                    class from M.J.P.Rohilkhand University, Bareilly in 2004. He has
                    been working in the field of Speech and Natural Language Processing
                    for more than 5 years. He has contributed his devotion in the areas of
Speech Corpora and Machine Translation System. He has designed and developed
corpora and speech database for English and various Indian regional Languages. He has
developed various multilingual software using Microsoft.Net, Java and Python
Technology. He has published a research paper on “MWE Extraction- a Text processing”
in ASCNT 2009 conducted by C-DAC Noida. He will also be presenting a paper on
“Information Extraction from Noisy Text Data” in International Conference "Role of
Translation in Nation Building, Nationalism and supra-nationalism" conducted by Indian
Translation Association.

                     Nishtha Jaiswal is Scietific Officer / Scientist „B‟ at CDAC-Noida.
                    She has been working in the field of Speech and Natural Language
                    Processing for last 6 years. She has worked in the areas of Machine
                    Translation, Corpus development, Lexicon development, Speech
database development for Indian languages and Text to Speech synthesizer. She has
published 2 national research papers so far. She has worked on various national and
international projects.

                   Anuradha Sharma is Engineer (IT)-IV at CDAC-Noida. She has been
                   working with CDAC-Noida for past 6 yrs. in the field of Machine
                   Translation, evaluation & Speech database development for Indian
                   languages. She has done her Masters in business administration
                   (MBA), B-Level and currently pursuing MS. (S.S.) from BITS Pilani.
She has published two research papers.

                        Renu Balyan has been working with CDAC-Noida for the last 3
                        years. She has a total experience of 11 years. Her areas of interest
                        include Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data Structures,
                        Computer Networks, DBMS and Java. She did her Mphil (CS)
                        and MCA in the year 2007 and 1999 respectively.             She is
currently registered for her PhD at IIT, Delhi in the field of Machine Translation. She has
been working in the field of Machine Translation (MT) and evaluation of Machine
Translation systems for Indian languages for the last 4 years. She has published 6
national and 2 international papers so far.

                Amiya Mohanty is Engineer (IT)-IV in cdac,noida. He has been working
                in CDAC, Noida since 2006. He completed his BE in 2005 .He is
                presently working in the digital library project in NLP division.

               Rahul Kumar Gautam is Engineer (IT)-III at CDAC-Noida. He has been
               working with CDAC-Noida from last 4 years, in the field of Multilingual
               Software Development with Java, C, C++ as Core Technology. He has a
               B.E in Electronics & Telecommunication from Amravati University. He
has total experience of 5 years. He has worked in the field of Machine Translation,
Optical character recognition (OCR), Image processing, He has published two research
papers.

                Pramod Gupta is Project Engineer at CDAC-Noida. He has been
               working with CDAC-Noida for last 5 Years, in the field of Multilingual
               Software Development with Java as Core Technology. He has worked in
               the field of Information Retrieval and Machine Translation. His major
               contribution is in development of IL-IL MT (Hindi-Punjabi) System.

                   Mukund Kumar Roy is Associate Project Engineer at CDAC-Noida.
                 Apart Computer        science and Engineering graduate,he is pursuing
                 M.Tech with NLP as Major. He has been working with CDAC-Noida
                 for past 4 years in the field of Multilingual Software Development with
Java as Core Technology. He has worked in the field of Information Retrieval, parallel
corpus Development, Speech to Speech Translation and Machine Translation.

                   Rajni Tyagi is Engineer(IT) at C-DAC Noida. She has been working
                   with C-DAC Noida for past 3.9 years, in the field of multilingual
                   software development. She has worked in the field of information
                   retrieval and machine translation.

                     Somi Ram Singla is Associate Linguist with C-DAC, Noida. He has
                     been working in the field of Natural Language Processing for last
                     three and half years. He has completed his M.A. in Linguistics and
                     won Gold Medal for securing first position in the Punjabi
                     University. He is doing Ph.D in the area of syntax. As a linguist he
has worked in the area of Machine Translation, Morphological Analyzer, Part of Speech
Tagging, Cross Lingual Information retrieval, Parallel corpus among Indian languages
and development of linguistic resources for Indian languages. He has published 5
international and national research papers.

                  Chander Mohan is a Research Intern with C-DAC, Noida from 2007.
                  He is working as a Punjabi Linguist. He has completed his M.Phil.
                  (Punjabi) in 2004 and submitted Ph.D Thesis in July 2010. He has
                  translated, transliterated and edited several books in Punjabi and
                  Hindi of well known writers for various renowned publishers
                  including NBT, National Book Trust, India. He is working on Indian
Language Machine Translation, Cross Lingual Information Access projects.

               Paramjeet Kaur is a Research Intern with C-DAC, Noida from 2007. She
               is working as a Punjabi Linguist. She has completed his M.Phil.
               (Linguistics) in 2005 and pursuing Ph.D in Linguistics from Punjabi
               University Patiala. She is working on Indian Language Machine
               Translation, Cross Lingual Information Access projects.

               Babita is Engineer (IT) at CDAC-Noida. She has been working with
               CDAC-Noida for past 2 year & 5 months, in the field of multilingual
               software development with Java as core technology. She has worked in
               the field of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Speech Database
               development for Indian Languages.

                 Pramod Kumar is a contract Office Assistant (I) at C-DAC, Noida
                 since 2001. He completed his Graduation in 2000.He is presently
                 working in the digital library project, A-Star and U-Star. He has also
                 worked in the E-Governance Project, Jal Nigam (Gautam Budh
Nagar), LMIS Software (DDA), Slum & JJ Dept. (MCD), LMIS Project (DDA), EIMS
Software (AICTE).

                Bhuban Das is a contract Office Assistant (I) at C-DAC, Noida since
                2002. He completed his Graduation in Elective Bengali in 1995 .He is
                presently working in the digital library project. He has also worked in
                the Gyan Nidhi Project and also worked as a speech annotator.
