The Livelihoods Improvement Project for the Himalayas (LIPH), Uttarakhand, Implemented through Uttarakhand Gramya Vikas Samiti, a Society registered under
Societies Act and Uttarakhand Parvatiya Aajeevika Sanvardhan Company, a Company registered under Section 25 of Companies Act. promoted by Govt. of
Uttarakhand. The Project is funded by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations working against poverty
and hunger the world over in support with Central Government and Government of Uttarakhand in 17 development blocks of 5 districts i.e. Almora, Bageshwar,
Chamoli, Tehri and Uttarkashi. The objective of the project is to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable groups by promotion of improved livelihood opportunities and
strengthening of local institutions through its multi-disciplinary professionals. LIPH seeks to appoint qualified and committed professional for the following positions
on contract basis initially for six months probation and on satisfactory completion of probation period, the term can be extended up to December 2012.

** For the assignment of CEO age shall not exceed 50 years as on the last date of receipt of application and all remaining Posts, age shall not exceed 42 years as
on the last date of receipt of application. However, in case of deserving/outstanding candidates, the conditions of age may be relaxed. In case of SC/ST/OBC
candidates, age relaxation will be permitted as the norms of the Government. Preference will be given to female candidates.
