                                          2010

Notes about the survey and the form

The form is divided into two parts. The first part applies to all products, while the second part is specific to
each product category. We ask you to fill out the first part and the appropriate second part for each of the
products you submit.

We have added the additional category of Netbooks given their increasing global market share amongst
computer products.

You can submit up to three products per category (for example three desktops, three notebooks and three
mobile phones, etc.) and we require one form per product. We will assess the products according to the
questions below in addition to other criteria we have developed and choose the product that was submitted
by your company that scores highest in each product category.

Note that only the basic criteria and points will be published. Any supporting documentation such as chemical
testing assessments and other reports will be treated confidentially.

We also encourage you to consider submitting products in the above categories that are not currently on the
market but will be by November 1, 2010. We want to publish the most up-to-date report and also give
appropriate credit to the very greenest models in this quickly changing marketplace. We would be happy to
discuss signing non-disclosure agreements that would protect your information prior to product release.

One major difference to last year is that we will also provide you with the detailed scoring methodology we are
using for most criteria. This will ensure that you can submit the products that are likely to score highest.

Please see the separately provided Guidance Notes to the Greenpeace Electronics Survey when
                                       filling out this survey.

Every product submitted has to be on the market by November 1, 2010.

Please return your forms no later than August 9, 2010 to
